Change Power Steering Fluid in 10 minutes and $10 | Honda Odyssey 2014

have you ever checked the quality and level of power steering fluid of your car look at the quality of old used and new power steering fluid stay tuned and keep watching this video okay guys this is my Honda Odyssey 2014 model and you can see the level of power steering floor is just below the minimum level in the bottle and you can see that this has turned dark black in color and I'm going to use this spray bottle to remove all that power steering fluid from the bottle and you just use you just need to use any any regular spray bottle uh you don't have to buy a new one just use any available regular spray bottle so you might have to adjust its nozzle um pressure so because the power straining fluid might be a little bit thicker than the water so you might have to adjust the pressure and then you just have to pump uh all of the liquid out of that bottle of the your bottle of your car and remove all that liquid [Music] so keep doing that until you get all of the liquid out of the container [Music] look at the fluid quality and color it has turned dark black with the passage of time and your car use I have almost taken out all of the food from the container now close the container lid and start your car engine and leave it running for about two to three seconds thank you turn your steering wheel one round on both sides this will send all the fluid present in pipes back to the container do not keep the car running for more than three seconds [Music] look at the fruit container it has been filled Again by the residual fluid present in all the pipes which came back during the fluid circulation when we turned on the car [Music] now remove all this fluid again using the spray bottle the same way like we did before [Music] in this way now you have taken out almost 80 to 90 percent old used power staining fluid out of your vehicle by using just a spray bottle right isn't this cool yeah it is [Music] it's time to pour in a fresh power straining fluid this is a regular general power steering fluid which I bought this from the Canadian Tire gently pour this into the fluid container and if you want you can use a funnel for pulling this [Music] fill the container up to the neck and close the lid [Music] start your car and keep it running for two to three seconds and turn your steering wheel on both sides so that the fluid circulates through the pipes [Music] foreign [Music] level has gone low because some of the fluid went through the pipes when you started your vehicle now open the lid and top up the container with more fluid up to the maximum Mark line do not overfill the container thank you [Music] start your car again and keep it running for few seconds and turn your steering wheel on both sides [Music] [Music] turn off the car engine and check the floor level again in the container if it's up to the maximum line great [Music] if not top up with some more fluid foreign I hope you enjoyed this video please give me a thumbs up and leave a comment about how was your experience of changing the power steering fluid in your car Please Subscribe my channel and stay tuned for more helpful videos thank you [Music] thank you [Music]
