[Music] [Music] [Applause] born arrays Oklahoma City mostly we always was in a bad neighborhood when I was younger so surrounded by gang affiliated people all the time so that on top of being an abusive home with a father that you know drunk I lashed out at my teachers and other students they put me a therapy and all that kind of stuff so the therapist told me to find a way out so I would draw write poetry slowly they started instead of writing out my aggressions I started right now ways around my aggression and then I found that oh me telling of ways to get around my aggression is helping other people who have the same mentality as me so I just started doing it to music I would dance like Michael Jackson at talent shows and then I did a poem to a beat one time and his little kid came up and said hey man I like your rap so I was like yeah I'll try rapping I needed a hype man to help me he needed some entertain the crowd while I switch out the tape we saw Jim Carrey doing a rap on in living color and it was basically comedian rap it sounds like we you should try to do it and this is what bone thugs-n-harmony was real big and so that's kind of how I got the name I just took my character and the bone looking vlogging finger on the boy I'm vegan blackish we're rushing out said I'm a 80s baby so my mom my mom likes 70s and 80s music and 90s music you know that's when all the hits came out so a writing style kind of fits in that area but we were influenced by 80s and seventies music as well especially like they're on stage performances like the temptations or James Brown MC Hammer and Michael Jackson we were performing at block parties and church events and house parties house parties yeah everybody was red gradually moving towards the internet we were like okay well we gotta put our music on MySpace and SoundCloud America's Got Talent called us and they said they saw the morning show that we did about three years before that yeah and we did not like this show they said that they loved it and they would use that as a submission video my favorite part of being on America's Got Talent was basically meeting all the other challenges X we made so many friends out there I think that blew the doors open for us not only here in America but worldwide yeah we started the game fans in every country South Africa France UK and the first time we got booked in Canada we're just going out to eat like regular people as soon as we walk through the doors every buzzer that's to him and we get bum-rushed it was just it was crazy we did not expect to be that famous somewhere outside of the US to be affiliated with cha-cha and honey is it's like being connected in some form or fashion closer to the creator and mother earth I think it's an awesome platform to to have our people you know and to be doing what we're doing to influence them our generation and our people to do better we don't shop expensive and we don't smoke drink stuff like that so and we want that to rub off on our fans as well yeah I think we definitely feel pressured a lot of people look up to us not just the Native American community but the Christian community and the hip-hop community I mean it can be overwhelming but you got God on your side and it helps a lot
