both have arrived in chalen we went over to see Alberto he's a local mountain guide and and paragliding Pioneer my name is Alberto I'm a mountain guide and I come here first time in 1986 I met toas here he say if he pass through Switzerland come to visit me and stay with him at his home in Interlaken and he took me flying Tandem and I remember I said to him I I want to learn and fly in Chen I said no no no impossible don't do that it's too dangerous don't do that 15 years ago I decided to to learn paragliding in another part of Argentina and then I brought my paraglides here and I start just doing short flights more like kind of high and fly flight by myself here on Marino area but you know fly by yourself is not as fun it's like climbing I it's good to go solo but I like to be with friends and a year ago more two years ago I decided to start teaching some some locals MERS paragliding and we are like 10 locals flying at the moment that is a lot and it's good now I think more and more climers will try to to to follow the steps of Pablo btoo who flies from Fitz Royal last year and because the MERS are realizing that when there are good conditions for climbing are very good conditions for flying at the start of our trip we caught Co great I am a world class Problem Solver got cat for the [Music] first is it safe to assume that Jamie tar will be back on the pitch next match well you know what they say after some time we start feeling better our motivation came back and we started looking at the weather forecast one afternoon it looked like there was going to less wind so we went for a ground handling session with our gliders one thing patagonia's famous for is strong wind definitely not for good paragliding conditions so we would have to be super lucky to get the right weather window to fly off one of those Peaks but it is possible we've seen footage of Fabian bull flying of cotor two years ago and Pablo Pont has flown of Fitzroy too now feeling more or less recovered from Co we were super motivated and hiked up the small little hill behind Chan for a little hike and [Applause] [Music] [Music] fly [Music] gliding again in your [Music] mind the heart want to cry [Music] one day the weather forecast showed a goodlooking 4-day window just enough time to attempt flying of cotor we heard that Pablo is looking for a climbing partner for the next weather window Rocher met Pablo Pono in bar Ro a month previous Pablo didn't hesitate he packed his things jumped in the car and drove all the way down to elch 10 right before we left we got in contact with Fabian bull asked him about his experience two years [Music] earlier okay [Music] fore [Music] [Music] quiet we began the approach to serator from Rio [Music] electrico at first a nice later after two River Crossings we reached the glacier and climbed up and over Marone path so bright so bright you can stare at the stars at night at night you can tell me anything once on the glacier we began following fresh Footsteps in the [Music] snow when we arrived at our first Camp Pablo was surprised to find out he knew both parties they were Luciano Sebastian grego Austine and Pedro and we all had the same routin man come [Music] on Luciano Sebastian and greo start at first this morning they were pushing the tracks through the snow up to the circle they lost that [Music] is that's my that's my way take me out I want to [Music] here big big TR inside my ears I want to [Music] lay this is where we going we're going to go to the first snowfield second snowfield one more bivy and hope to push to the summit tomorrow yeah and then fly in the evening for the sunset so we ready to be back in Chon for dinner exactly [Music] yes I follow my [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] that's the tunnel huh that's the tunnel this is the final done fin Peach [Music] [Music] we arrived at the last pitch the final mushroom but now it got too warm to carry on so we set up a cozy camp for the night good [Music] morning push yeah now we climbing as one big group we help each other out wherever we can Augustine is leading the way this morning now there is just one more pitch
