It must be so weird to be a new celebrity, especially at the speed celebrity occurs nowadays. One day you’re a normal person trying to get a good acting gig, and the next you’re a huge star.

And when you become one, you don’t suddenly stop being a fan of those you’ve been a fan of for a long time. But now suddenly you meet them. You’re in their circle, and they might also be a fan of yours. How weird must that be? Surely, at some point it becomes routine, and you no longer think of other celebrities in the same way, but there is definitely that point at the beginning where it must be a huge shock to the system.

My dad met Matt Lebanc at some show probably 16-17 years ago and it wasn't very busy so he was chatting with him. My parents were big fans of Friends, so my dad said, "Hey, if I call my wife, will you ask her, 'How you doin'?', she's a big fag fan** "

Matt agreed and he called my mom. I forget the exact reasoning, but my mom wasn't able to answer the phone and shortly thereafter Matt had some people come up to him, so my dad let him do his own thing. So my mom missed her chance.
