before the pandemic and then the pandemic happened when you were pregnant with with moses parenting i was really able to rest um because it before you would disco with noah and tobias was really working with with this pregnancy was able to rest and [Music] a few people from our audience otawa juan [Music] situation um 2005 was the year that i joined bini beaning pilipinas i won't be beating filipinas and that was also the time that um obviously i won miss international but that was also the time that my father passed away um and when he passed away may dumatina param he came at the right time because um [Music] fell in love with with this man and it was a wrong relationship da hill um everything nah human principle i threw it out of the window and i gave it all to him everything and then a year i think it was almost a year in our relationship i found out that he was married so i did not i did not know no no but when i found out sabine separated the mandossila but then i also found out napalm one-year-old so they he has three kids [Music] but none of them told me nah [Music] but it was a wrong relationship starting at that point talaga that relationship became um um before paman may just um so that relationship became very abusive emotionally um up to the point of gigging physical fashion i remember merong time that i would go to tapings nah i would wear long sleeves bruce's arms a relationship um i felt so trapped nah and he also oh my gosh i feel that this is god's will for my life but obviously i really just wanted the fame and i really wanted to to get rich and be famous perogan and so during that time and that i was really living in sin so i was successful and everything and yes i was feeling really worthless i felt really trapped i felt na hopeless during that time so how long was this relationship how long did this relationship last and what made you get out of it almost three years then a relationship but you know just praying like that pero i also felt that nina didn't because i was living in sin um i was dubai was having premarital sex with this man who was still married and yes that parents should really pray for their children because i know for a fact that my mom prays for me for all of us for the time and for some reason she was able to find out about what was happening with me mama he just knew she just knew that i was in a relationship with this guy because she was living in canada at that time and then one morning i just woke up and she was beside me she was crying and she was telling me enough and that was the time you know god answered the prayer of this very sinful woman and but you know i think mostly because it was my mom who was praying for me as well and you know um because of um that intervening mama she came here it's a filipinas to keep him awake you know he would really um threaten and come back but you know that was how i was able to get out of that relationship grabbed me in all this in all this you know god really is sovereign and nothing can truly separate us from the love of god and you know in this moment you felt so ashamed you were um you know emotionally abused you felt so small how did god come in the picture and how did he start to heal you from this whole experience and how did you how did he begin a new life in you after this whole ordeal that he cannot deny himself that that he is really a good god who is full of mercy and he is abounding in love [Laughter] to show me that you know i can still be lovable and you know god changed my life actually even after i married marco and deepak i guess also i did not surrender talaga my life to god 100 you know i wanted him to save me i wanted him to be my savior of my life so there's a difference it for you to be saved and yet i was ibanez i was a christian doing this but yet i was still doing a lot of other sinful things now i know what's not pleasing to god and you know um i think we even had noah during this time but even before that i remember that i would wake up during the time but i remember i would wake up feeling empty nagi singapore in the middle of the night um i was really afraid to die yeah you know even after all of that and you know just one morning i felt the the desire to pray and so i because i don't want to live like this anymore i don't want to live a double life i want to i want to serve you talagana i want to surrender my life for you and girl gollum um such an ordinary day when when when god really um woke me up from from the sleep of you know being lukewarm i was on my way to the salon and i i felt that um urged to pray and i prayed and when i was there i posted two bible verses in my instagram um jesus is the way the truth and the life and knowledge where's this verse from but it says there um not everyone who calls on me lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but only the one who does the will of my father um and then after that it says get away from me uh you evildoer i never knew you and when i read that song i'm feeling good it was jesus talking to me to my face and sabbah lord i don't want you to not know me anymore sabino i want you to know me and that was the time till again that i fully surrendered my life to christ one hundred percent and to say that i grew up in a christian home ever since i called myself a christian and yep being in the wrong relationship even with with even after that wrong relationship um i still wasn't content after that it was like uh a light bulb was switched open i was blind and now i see no one inside the god shalom see lord jesus was the only one who could complete me who could make me happy who could make me whole not my husband not my child not what i have accomplished but only that is so that's so beautiful and encouraging and it really just goes to show that you know lara we are just all on the journey you know it doesn't matter um we can we can compare our our walk with god say we're really all on a journey and we're all in a work in progress and speaking i mean um um before before this light bulb moment with god how was your relationship with marco considering this past relationship and then another difference now that uh you have a renewed relationship with jesus and how did how did that now change and transform your marriage okay um before that before before i i always like to say before jesus um called me found me um dahing has a past relationship with marco talaga i don't know if he remembers this but i remember that we were in in the car say some parking lot and i told him i told him i think we made when you fight we grab it um the difference now is you know obviously we still fight um normal in a relationship to still fight my husband [Music] everything is being resolved because we we are really um we have given our relationship to god that's so beautiful who may relate with with your story and i guess if you were to to speak to them and you know they want to get out of this abusive relationship that have stolen their worth that have stolen their dreams they're stuck and there's no exactly where you feel so trapped you feel nah you are so hopeless that is not true that is a lie that is a lie because jesus loves you and jesus died for you and what how he sees you is what matters the most it doesn't matter how other people see you it doesn't matter what people tell you even if they tell you you because jesus died on the cross for you for you and he loves you so much and i pray right now that you know if if you are watching and you are experiencing this no i pray that that god will just envelop you right now and that you will feel so loved by him that you will feel so at peace and that you will feel so confident in his love that he will give you the confidence to get out of that relationship in jesus name because that is so not true because jesus loves you and you are worth worth so much that he died of the cross for you and i wanna um i just wanna hear it from your from your mouth i wanna transition this into a time of prayer but how is how do you feel now knowing that you have that relationship with jesus that is uh revived and alive and you are thriving in that relationship with god lara how do you feel about your worth how do you see now yourself in light of who you are in jesus um i always use this word i was the impression and yet for a long time i felt i was really worthless peru knowing that god who did not spare his own son he gives me all things he loves me he died on the cross for me there are a lot of problems going on and damning rejections and damning and challenges and yet there is peace and there is confidence because i know that god has god's got me that he loves me that he holds me in his hand and that nothing nothing can separate me from this love that is how i feel i feel um because we are so confident we are so confident because we know that you know jesus is there for us but jesus loves us so much amen and crazy in love with you then see jesus yes well i i i wanted to hear that directly from your lips because i wanted to see i wanted our audience to see where you were and how you're feeling now from a live feeling of worthlessness full of shame in a very dark place and you know watching lara now you know she's confident not in who she is as as but who she is as a daughter of god and if you if you're in that place right now where you're feeling ashamed you're feeling so um devalued and something was stolen from you feel like your future your dreams your worth was stolen from you i want to encourage you just what like what lara said god loves you so much and just as what god did for for lara he can do it for you too that there's really nothing that can separate you from his love and
