have pets when I was little I always kind of felt left out seeing other families walk there's I want one too maybe maybe not now but one day when I get my own place I'll get a pet just for me and eventually I got that place time moves faster than you think one day you're 8 years old and then you blink in now you're 23 I always figured I'd end up with a dog because cats terrified me anytime I went to someone's house with a cat they would swipe at me for years I thought cats were unpredictable and just playing jerk wads but then I befriended the cat on the streets when I was suicidal from there I did research on them I became obsessed with watching my cat from hell I did research about breeds and eventually found out about Maine Coons Maine Coons are basically dog cats they are social intelligent sweet and super long boys I'm too disabled to walk a dog so a cat like this would be perfect for me I searched for months for a Maine until I found a super-nice breeder in Russia and set a date for her arrival hold on comment section this breeder takes good care of their litters and doesn't over breed so please please be nice my best friend Megan was living with me now and since it would be a few weeks till I got my cat she wanted to get one of her own we went to Pet Smart and found a super social cat named Orion he's basically if he took a lemur and a Burton marshmallow and combined them Megan renamed him ghost or what I like to call him little ghost boy ghost is a soondae meaning that he has two personalities uh don't touch me with your filthy hands he pretends like he doesn't like attention but he does if you ignore his existence for a few hours he will rub himself all over you and after like 30 seconds of purring is basically like hmm I never even needed your attention bye uh-huh he loves the outdoors so much that he learned how to use the door handle to let himself in and out ghost is four years old and tends to act like an old man he sits for hours on top of the staircase and stares down at us like an old grandpa it's like he's a wise elder watching over us and his squinty little face is too much to handle he's super insecure when it comes to territory so when my cat came he was unsure whether or not to trust her but after a day and a half they became really good friends I named my cat snake cuz she's a really long cat so she practically slithers everywhere snake is a punk she's a super confident cat and she always gets what she wants I mean it's hard to say no to this face snake is super food motivated so it was easy to teach her tricks like sit shake and spin when I give the cats food in the morning snake makes sure that she gets to eat first I've tried separating their bowls but snake is always persistent to be dominant once the cats are done eating they go into battle mode for like 20 minutes a funny quirk about her is that if you sniff back at her she'll take it as a challenge and battle you she doesn't like to be disrespected I guess snake has a cute side though sometimes I'm in a lot of pain and I can't get out of bed and she'll come in to check that I'm still alive I am so glad to house both of them they bring make it a nice so much joy it's hard to stay sad for long when you see them around the house so if anyone out there is considering adopting or buying a cat I highly recommend getting one because
