we just came off the tail end of The Bachelor and now Chris is on Dancing with the Stars I know that you probably had a lot of advice for him so what did you share I had a little bit of advice I just said you know don't forget about your fiance because Dancing with the Stars can be really exciting you're thrust into this new environment with all these other celebrities and you know just make sure you keep what's important at the top of your priority list which is your fiance so I think he's I think he's gonna listen to me and hopefully learn from some of my mistakes well I just spent I spent 12 hours a day dancing and I didn't really think about how much time she was spending alone and we're newly engaged and I definitely should have paid her more attention that'll be one of the toughest parts as you come off the show and you expect to get back to normal life but then you have a couple months where you're back in LA and the cameras are still there so did you have any advice for Whitney yeah I I just I wish looking back that I would have found something in LA that was mine and that's something that I could really be proud of and be happy to do everyday so that's something that I I advise Whitney to do is is really find something and I like is there's so many options here and just taking advantage of something I don't know whether that's you know I'm doing ballet now but what if it's ballet or bar method or you know running I don't know what it is but whatever I'm sure there is something here for her that will make her happy yeah there's so many views that you know she should take advantage of restaurants I don't know but that's something that I would say is important I know that you guys are back and forth between LA and Dallas right so how is everything back in Dallas I know you guys have the dogs there and how's married life going it's great we have we have a home and so when we're not traveling we have a relatively normal life where you know at the end of the day we get on the couch together and our dogs are at the foot of the couch and you know we just try our best to be normal and we have friends there and it's a really nice life yeah I feel like a wife like I cook for him every night and we have you know our time together on the couch and it's it's a huge transition from the crazy life we had here and the traveling that we've been doing so it's a nice balance it's your go-to dish when cooking it really day really depends right now he's healthy so I've been making a salad for him that he really enjoys with homemade croutons which is one of my favorite things to do now so I know the next season you guys have both been kind of vocal about team Brit or team Caitlyn and you don't agree right about having two bachelorettes yeah you know in the beginning I think we both felt the same way one of these girls are both of them just experienced rejection and now one of them is going to face rejection a second time by a vote from a majority of men it just didn't really sit well with us but we weren't the only ones because we saw the huge like uprising of people and so I know The Bachelor franchise and I know they listen to the fans and I'm sure they have figured out a way to make it not so painful and you know to make it a hopefully happy ending for both women but we'll have to wait and watch yeah I think there's just a lot of questions don't everybody's mind I mean they announced it and didn't really have a format to explain so it was really up to everybody to think on their own of what does that what that means do this each girl move and and put their job and potentially have to move back and get a new place or you know there's a lot of questions that will be answered when it starts and I think that because they kept it vague they have a lot of room to reformat it again to listen to the fans and listen to the family and really figure out what what will work best so that the franchise still has that clout that they have you guys have a preference of which girl should have been the one Bachelorette yeah we were both team Caitlyn for sure she just seemed real and down-to-earth and funny and I think everybody was really rooting for her majority of people anyway yeah I mean obviously we still wish Brittany or Britt the happiness and the love that she deserves we have nothing against her we just prefer Caitlyn and her crazy weird things that she just comes out of her mouth we have no idea we have an idea and yeah she's she's definitely somebody that we're watching last question what is next for both of you we're not sure I mean we have a busy summer with the ton of traveling but sparse career-wise long term we don't we don't know but we can't like that way it's exciting yeah my next plan is to go into the desert by myself and like I mean I'm not being serious well I have a kind of a meditation session on what what route I should go in because there's a lot of options for both of us and I think just kind of thinking about it without any distractions is a really important thing to do
