confessions science tells us there's over a hundred different vocalizations that come out of the mouths of cats a hundred distinct sounds you're about to hear number 101 through 106 [Applause] I love my job today because most of the time I'm getting beat up and I'm bleeding and crying but now I get to flip the script without the blood all right welcome you guys welcome to the the cat bed inside the cat cafe let's start with your names hi I'm Jessie I'm Kacy do you have cats at home yes what's this cat's name by the way Douglas was the best name you have a cat named Douglas oh my god you rock that's amazing what an amazing name I want you to think of the weirdest thing that Douglas does on a regular basis he hasn't done it recently but he used to do this thing where he made a really really weird noise and started spitting at the dog of course you were gonna nail it [Music] lightning round it's kind of hard to pin down it's kinda like here's a thing just probably goes up and down pickles happy noise this more of like a [Music] [Applause] Oh imitate your cats happy meow she does this cute little I know that sound that's a good one you didn't give your cat's name its mouth like ah mouth yeah like a talker oh so the character from The Goonies who are the Goonies The Goonies that was what like 1985 if you wouldn't mind giving me a little Jane could you it depends on which you want sometimes it's like what about no what's the insistent one like you're ignoring me [Applause] [Laughter] [Music] his peanut of verbal cat yeah she meows all the time like when she's not hungry she's still meowing give me the hungry man you want me to me out she's like that's the hungry one okay so what's the other one look just like little early yeah let's do that one again that's all good we have one her name is Gabby and her name is Gabby because she talks constantly she doesn't even know she's doing it she me I was in her sleep [Music] lightning round I can't roll my tongue I have a cat that's like a tractor she purrs really loud lately it's very very quiet and you have to get very very close to him I think we're kind of happy [Music] and it's in the middle of the night and do you wanna I want to hear it and so let's just pretend okay so I'm I'm sleeping I'm you this is about 4 a.m. she'll knock over the soap in the bathroom and then [Music] you have cats now we have a cat daughter named Oreo do you think that Oreo has specific vocalizations that are a little different from other cats absolutely she is basically a human and we we are able to speak to her and she speaks back and she speaks that yeah please demonstrate she'll do this thing where she'll jump in the bed and she's like wants to tell us that she's ready to snuggle so she's basically like a Herald and she it's like the equivalent of like dude dude she's like just lands on the bed it almost has a New York accent to it meow what is your happy cat sound like my happy cat well here's the funny thing is that I'm thinking of Lily she has the same sound when she's pissed and we she's happy so like you could be petting her or Shalom right right she'll just sit there and just you know you're petting her very gently she's sitting on your on your chest and it'll still be like yeah yeah yeah so you never know whether you're doing a good job or not yeah yeah she's a mono linguist [Music] lightning-round if we put them in the place that they don't want to be like pickled scholars like and sounds like a siren he screams at me because he loves you he hates me whenever he sees me he goes I just scared the whole cat cafe so it should make you feel a little bit better that the sound that your cat makes in the middle of the night when you roll over on her is not thoroughly unique because somebody else's cat made that same sound now the thing that you could do is send me a video of your cat making that noise that you're sure no other cat makes and let me make the decision Jackson galaxy comm forward slash submit this link right here bring it on [Music] meow
