Cat Cares For His New Sister's Kittens After She Gives Birth | The Dodo

look at you you're such a good Mama it was so cool to witness her giving birth I remember I was like I think that stray Siamese cat's pregnant [Music] they're so pretty and so very pregnant I slowly but surely would put food out and when she'd show up I'd open my sliding glass doors [Music] really hard that same day by four o'clock she was giving birth only here for you I promise I said you would be safe and taken care of if you decided to have your babies on my porch and I meant it looks like she might be done giving birth and we have four kitties Kirby Captain Falcon Zelda for our little girl here and Yoshi since giving birth she's been super okay with letting me pet her so we took her inside [Music] I I think she may have been born in a house because she seems okay with us humans we checked her twice for a chip no chip but she is not a fan of any of the other animals almost a year ago just one morning there was this meowing from a bush and it was our dear link so we took him in we're like oh we have a cat now [Music] link constantly wants to play with Samus and Samus does not want to play with him especially immediately after giving birth [Music] sadly Samus had a stomach parasite push this has ever happened before he was seeking comfort from link which she had never done up to that point so we had to quarantine her from the babies so she didn't pass it on to them and Lane really stepped up in that time and got super big into grooming with them and cuddling with them on the couch when he was little he would groom me and my partner's nose he still has that instinct from when he was a baby oh look at the babies and they're good uncle link letting them play with his old toy you're so cute make my heart melt I can't stand it I love the two of you so much making him and uncle has made him calmer and a bit of a chunkers on the top of their cat tree he tries to cuddle with all of them in that tiny little bed area and he'll half hang off why are you trying to fit up their link I think he may have earned a little bit of her trust by taking care of the babies [Music] when they started getting big enough to play we started noticing their personalities immediately Zelda lives up to her name she is a little princess you're watching the rain come down Zelda Kirby is the quiet adventurer kitten Captain Falcon has gotten in the habit of yelling while he poops oh and Yoshi a little boy that looked just like Mom Yoshi why are we calling and biting my elbow Sam is all better now being a good Mama watching over I just confirmed Yoshi has a forever home now we just gotta find forever homes for these three all of the kittens are very lovey they love to get into your laugh or just nap next to you we would like to get Sam is adopted as well it's not that we don't love her it's just that Barry had a bad experience when he was a puppy so he's already stressed out by having so many cats in the house for Samus in particular I think she needs like a nice quiet home they're just be cozy and happy Miss Samus given the fact that she was astray she's super nice and loving and too gorgeous to not be appreciated every day [Music]
