oh good afternoon this is a walkthrough of my 2020 aluminum cargo trailer conversion i'm currently in washington state so this is the 2020 it's all aluminum i think it was under a thousand pounds before anything was added to it i put close cell insulation plywood on the inside you'll see but let's do the outside first i guess let's start at the front it has a cover for the propane tank that feeds the heater inside it's a regular barbecue size it's worked great this covers work great i just have it screwed to a block of wood inside two screws on each side and then you just lift it up pretty simple um trailer has air brakes or not air brake excuse me electric brakes which i highly recommend um led lights all around uh let's see i put this coupler on here from proven lock which has been really good secure that's for sure put a wheel on it so i could roll it around easy has a 30 amp service and then that's where my heater exhaust sliding window security system there's cameras on all four corners this uh originally box had my water heater but i never used it so i took it out and put my uh camp stove in there and then a small propane tank got a nice stainless steel mount all locked cabled to it um upgraded wheels and tires which i highly recommend if you're gonna be dragging it off road because uh without these side walls they would i would have had some punctures okay and then it just has the simple simple stands in the back to kind of make things feel a little more secure this door um is where i'm gonna vent my air conditioner through that i haven't put in yet has a wall mounted stand for my outboard motor storage under the bed for the boat a full-size spare jack and these are those locks which i actually really like these logs the company the service or customer service didn't seem all that great but i like the locks just got to loop them up has a 10 by 10 awning on it which i really like i had to uh put some quarter inch aluminum brackets on it on the top and the bottom on the front here to secure it but they haven't budged another window on this side that opens in the door camera this is for water fill and city hookup and then underneath there's a pump on the other side so you can get water out of the tank inside there's a 25 gallon water tank let's see what else on the outside i think that about covers the outside let's go inside this first is my solar setup and switches it has a a 300 amp hour lithium battery inside this case here it has a transfer switch for the shore power has two 190 watt solar panels on the roof it's the basket up front for storage has a composting toilet with a urine diverter a separate brand which i really like haven't had a problem with it there's my heater right here which i really like too the thing keeps this thing nice and toasty here's my thermostat up there let's put regular curtains screwed the things down a folding cup holder put the thing in there which is always nice and it helps uh keep my curtain back too let's see uh light switch on the wall i think i said uh fire extinguisher there's a a max fan which i really love things the godsend i put it in my bus too and uh really liked it so here's uh two cabinets on that side and three on this side and i put a veneer plywood on the top i haven't finished the tongue or the very front part here it's on the ceiling but it all has insulation under everything all the wood uh has a white wash on it and a clear couple coats of clear a couple baskets on the doors and that's the inside i need to finish and put my ac in there just haven't needed it so and then this is my sliding fridge freezer which i really like it has been uh rather reliable so runs off the solar no problem and then it's on this roller system and it locks it doesn't move there's a display on the front you can adjust temperatures separately you can run just one other compartments a fridge freezer or whatever you know yeah there's the water tank under there if i got a water tank that's about it simple a full bed that i uh cut about three inches off of to fit it in there lengthwise or you know width-wise whatever you want to call it led lights inside too that's it the door yeah this is the door that came with it i put the window in and i just secured the drapes here so you can just slide them across and close them it's worked out pretty nice yeah there's a roller on top of the door so you don't cut the awning awning comes out simple in and out yeah i'll share uh pictures of that too that's it 20 20. it's been comfortable for me for the last four months let's see if i can get a shot of the solar panels on top get on top of my truck here there you go it's a nice view up here definitely a nice view let's pan you around all right have a good day here's some shots of it with the awning out and this is a 6x10 so that's the box without the tongue so it has a little tongue extension on there i don't know what that is two floaters on but that's the awning out um also the inside walls are plywood and then i put a carpet squares that i got from home depot i believe glued those on there it's been nice awnings been nice um the step i love the step and i just throw it in the back of my truck and i'm thankful because i was gonna put one under there but i would have ripped it off there by now and i've talked to a couple other people that have done these and one of them i looked under it and it was all mangled up he was gonna take it off he just hadn't taken it off yet so just uh fyi i guess yeah there's the awning love the awning especially when the sun's out it helps keep it cool inside and one other thing my this is how i washed uh the trailer and truck and take a shower myself so it's just a eight gallon water tank water port they call it you just uh hook the hook my compressor up to it right here pump it up to 40 pounds and i have pressurized water nice way to wash dishes or whatever you know and it's i like it because it's on the back of my truck so it's easier to go get water sometimes i don't use it for drinking water just for washing so like uh yesterday and today i was getting it out of the river here and filling it up and pressurizing it and washing bugs basically yeah that's it ask any questions be happy to answer them and towing it with the tacoma that's been lifted with 33s on it it's been a bit of a challenge i think because i've had too much weight so it took me i don't know a couple at least a couple months to figure that out i just kept thinning the herd basically seems like it got it down now so i'll probably weigh it all and see how it works out it's just when you get to the grades you know which is normal i guess i want to go 70 still but i gotta wind her down so it's not screaming which just means that i need gears but i don't know if i want to spend the money on them because it does fine without pulling the trailer and actually it's not bad now don't get me wrong i just drug it uh how many thousands of miles and not complaining just keep it in mind light is better i just carry too much stuff i think but it's nice to be prepared either way that's it [Music]
