[Music] this is our homesteader cargo conversion into a tread at campus trailer and that we ordered it from homesteaders and trailers Bellefontaine Ohio and they're an excellent dealer took very good care of it we had them add six inches on to the height we had the interior insulation package in the walls that they put a couple of windows in the side for my carving spiderland and we had this front door that of this RV style front door which get this read or closer on that we laid the interior out and AutoCAD is 2d AutoCAD ease and block dimensional drawings with what we wanted to put in the trailer and that's how we came up with the 20 foot 20-foot configuration they also put the framing in for the AC system which we ended up installing the AC system but they had to put the painting in for us and so it's worked out very very well for us we're happy with it maybe Kings won oh sweet things but nothing major also upgraded entire one size to the heavier size 15 so I think it's a wider with a heavier heavier GVW range low capacity but on propane pan to hold the two propane bottles we went with a double battery tray you can see it's just angle with you bolts hold it in place and the battery trays are from Amazon so I got room for two there and we just went with a single bottle regulators as opposed to the automatic switch over but this is a dual stage regulator and we got it from it's a buddy from the mr. buddy heater series we've got a camco and the first camco we got it did not work and it was very dissatisfactory so we got this and we haven't had any problems since so this is made by the same people will make buddy heaters we used to have a crank on here we put those electric jack on so with the crank we've had these push backs we had driven crank so now we can actually move these bottles forward if we decide to at this so it's electric [Applause] [Music] suburban furnace propane furnace that's the venting frit we have the 30 amp plug in for the short power I went to the disconnect type these are just maxed that we put on to when the trailers unhooked from the vehicle to keep it from tipping back and we're loading motorcycle or anything like that he is open there's a latch inside which we we need to get out of the trailer flip the latch and push the gate back that's our escape route so we have we don't have a escape window in yet we'll put one of these on the curb side of the road SOG we haven't decided which one so we've already had two camping outings in it so it's some kind of bug just work down here so just a simple jack antenna now consists of Piron see my hold the jacket antenna and then this got a piece of treated wood to interface these these clamps with the trailer to bolt into the side of trailer and we use the existing screw holes of Rory in the trailer to mount this just got longer bolts here and just use the existing holes to secure over here's the freshwater pill and reason I went with this side is because this is the side that's most convenient for me they're usually on the other side that fills up the freshwater tank I've got it on this side so I just pulled in the forward my hoses right at the house I'm inside before we ordered the trailer and that's how he figured out [Applause] [Music] now the last time we use this ring [Applause] quite a nice addition to any trailer we still need to put the center post on this this requires since it's a longer taunting us requires a center post okay somebody goes on that we need to put the roller on to protect the protect the only fabric sonority [Music] as I this did a basic is basic there's possible built we just like basically luan and to before and - batu construction is basic solid construction got leds LED lights came off of amazon we've got twelve volt lighting and 12 volt power and we've got a hundred twenty volt electrical panel so [Music] here and this guy coming up here this is the 12 volt power and we just run a line across there across the periphery of the trailer and then pick off any voltage that we need and whenever we need to all fours there's a wire here that's got the 12 volts on it so we can attach alert we want there and then estate protected by to use other Guardian two circuits up there good two circuits around okay you just use this plastic this this is 12 this whole thing is 12 here okay we have seen in this area and bet and makes obviously those are for pets as well and we have this area here we keep this open we have an extra cop that can go here or the three chairs as you can see there's plenty of room around talking monitoring kitchen area here just a simple simple area here water body and then the rear bed is a queen bed that is on our platform and the uniqueness about this platform is if you want to pull the motorcycle in you take this take this cushion off to the side or just or just leave it out if you're taking the motorcycle along and these guys this guy pulls up like them the drawbridge they will pull up and the motorcycle goes right in here and then the floor there's tie down to the motorcycle that's very diverse state here's that for the door that we talked about there's a situation we needed at the trailer just until we get the till we get our escape window I'm not sure we'll do it here here this unit here encloses the springs just as a safety precaution as heavy wood and post the springs so it's the thermostat here for the old furnace we have a fantastic fan unit here that we haven't hooked up the voltage to hit that and this simple cabin style we just like simple construction four partitions and that sort of thing did you install this fan on your own yeah that's just you know we just frame this in here frame this in and we had it was a little tough to find the wood that was the same thickness of the metal yet to find I had to go and find the correct foot and I don't remember what would I ended up with there was a special kind of wood so this height would match will it be no transition just frame it in and in drill four holes the 14 is by fourteen inch then you just connect the dots with a saber saw from down here or above and then when you screw you put the butyl tape on the vent and screw it down and then see all over the top of the screws and that's pretty much it there's lots of videos on YouTube on how to do that so and this is just a divider the ones that want to do a change my restaurant my sister the wider that's simple shower curtain from Walmart great it's just a shower rod we just found a mystery how fixed it to the inside there you have a little extra piece of wood there and then thousand then right here X is a towel rod as well it's organization this is just a this is just a yardsale just came out of a scrap truck camper specific facility ourselves I picked that up and I just ran this around put over space there a mounted little brace down to the bottom and it connects to the gray water tank and we'll show you the gray water tank this you see is the vent and connects to that same pipe and goes up and then South the ceiling for the new to vent the degree water a water tank simple construction down there you see it dumped some duct work for the furnace because we knew we needed to get it back through there I'll probably enclose that sometime bar sink really fancy just a bar sink here's our gray water this is a busy area a lot of stuff went on here a lot of thought went into it and I can show you there's the electrical panel there 120 volts we just ran on 20 volt connector that port we showed you on the outside just ran it right in the back of that so it's right there that's the main disconnect it's a 4/4 place it's got a main disconnect AC and then I think curbside and roadside plugs outlets not too much to it and then there's that fence yeah this is the furnace and it goes in here it's right underneath the microwave we just made a platform for it this is the air intake this is one of the vents for the furnace and this is raised up or a platform to allow us to run the ductwork underneath the very water tank you see there's a there's a space there where it's where it's the ductwork passes and then this is just a simple out the side at the bottom of the trailer and then out the side drink is openness and it just shoots out the side or you can connect the hose to it if you desire you know you can run it into a connection or camper so this is inside there's no tankage underneath this trainer whatsoever so it's totally things gonna freeze that point if you have eaten the trailer here here now the floors not insulated but we're not planning on doing a lot of wild wintertime camping it's just a standard it's just a standard camper for us piece of Pisa what you call the stuff that's just stop here there's something slides and it's the like a stop board it's good idea here's the water pump and here's the 12-volt obviously we got a lot of clean up to do on nail 12 that's just where we haven't come in and we have access to or refuses right there and waterfall right there there's our freshwater tank back there just put it on the curb side and you can see us I think it's like a 22 or 25 I'm not sure and then there's a storage kind of like a storage thing bill on top of that we haven't quite figured out what mainly that thing is for but this right now is just storage right now we need to put in some more storage and we're gonna change these front rounds before we can slide hopes under there that's one thing we can start with you need to be able to somebody's there so we'll end up opening these faces up you sponsor these are the seeding units just basically on hinges and you see these guys here these wires here you see a wire like this in this trailer it says 12 volt that's not 110 we run all the the 110 inside plastic condo here's the heater for the front area and you can see some area there for the furnace where it's connected that sort of thing so that's how that's connected up and a reason this area here got so busy the center section is because we wanted to tankage all that the gray water and the fresh water to be able to axles so and we didn't want the furnace to be under any of the beds so that that's why this area got so busy we have a lot going on in there and that was hard to figure out that was like moving things around half inch by half inch to get them laid out and so that was that was quite a challenge to get all this stuff in this one area but that's what that's what had to happen that's pretty much it we put some insulation in here our plan is to cover this with large has it's not quite blue on it's a but it's a looong type then would I think spurt supply and it's really wonderful it's this stuff right here this this is what they call Herbert's plots it's really beautiful for the price so won't cut sections here and put these in here then this voice is the reflectix wraps around a corner we just put these start out with these panels and we do still feel this was like a radiant heat was coming off of these is these short sections so we enclosed those with the reflectors so the other thing we did was underneath we coated it the floor with black beauty fencepost the paint compactor supply and it was really nice because that was all bare under there and I didn't want water to get into the wood so we found out that when we painted it it didn't create a few Mishu in the trailer so that's a bit that was a big that was a big issue with we did want fumes in the trailer so we painted a small area discovered that didn't create teams in the trailer we painted the rest of the of the bottom and that included all the propane lines well the one propane line and then if we did underneath and we sealed up the bottom of the floor and this is just standard plywood what we discovered there are some trailers out that have a treated with some sort of water-repellent what we discovered was that created an odor and the trailers that we checked out had that type of four I don't recall the name on the floor that's really popular and in trailer construction as well as the on the sides on the sides on these travel from the outside outside panel we've gone instead of three so when we we're looking at those trailers there's an odor didn't know if it was a flooring or the glue that was used old deciding on so we went without the flooring with the standard floor and the screwed on sides that are outside we did 180 fumes on the inside as well as possible so that's about it [Music] there's the propane line that runs towards the back and we use a piece of pressure-treated lumber screwed to the framing then we put rubber hose around the u-bolts and then that's how we secured the propane line from the front to the middle of the trailer and right over there we did the same thing with that with that gray water drain that just goes out the side and that was secured on the pressure treated with u-bolts with rubber hose covering their seat shows this black beauty fencepost paint in action which looks pretty good and then we also sealed all right on the corners with sealant we actually had more odor from the sealant than we had from this from all this paint that we did we just wanted to seal that up for you know if it gets wet and that sort of thing which it will this windows of everything came with that camper door package we're going to modify those side front side lounges to put so we can slide totes in there we're going add some storage and that's one of the it for yet for right now as far as level one of what we have planned for right now so thanks for watching our video hope you enjoyed it hope you got something out of it [Music]
