this video I need to debunk all this rumor all this misinformation that says the qqr is mandatory it is absolutely not now it says it is important to note that when applying for an employment permit renewal take the key word from here renewal a healthare assistant should have attained a relevant qqi level five qualification after 2 years employment in the state what does this mean what does this mean if you are learned you should understand what this mean it means when applying from overseas you don't need this qqi you only need it when you come into irand okay and when you want to renew your because most of the time when you're moving into isand as a care assistant you would be given a 2 years work permit two years work permit that you can renew after working in that occupation in Ireland when you are inside Island that is where you need the qqi what is the qqi qqi is simply a certification is a certification that qualifies students in training in the care and it comes in eight modus okay now I know that definitely if you want to move into Ireland as a care assistant you can just move in without showing any proven evidence or any backup that you have some experiences in world the care job and reason why there is an alternative meaning you don't have to do the qqi but you can gather some certification that is going to boost your chance so when you submit your CV to an employer the employer would say indeed this person this man this um knows what they are talking about they know their onions they know what what the O care permit what the care job ENT in Ireland now I've contacted some schools and they have also said that Clara one can do this Qi if they outside of Ireland however they can get some certification so alternative to this o qqi you can get some certifications on Florence Academy on Alison Academy like I said the qqr is in eight mod which is been split into two known as m atory and elective courses I'm going to be mentioning the mandatory courses I'm going to be mentioning the elective courses that is going to help you take the right course on Florence Academy and also on Allison Academy for the mandatory courses we have care support we have care skill we have safety and health at work we also have communication these are the mandatory cses for the elective cses we have care of the older person nutrition and infection control also have prevention control and you have recovery in mental health now I know it's a lot however you don't have to do all of those courses because I know sometimes the Florence Academy Alis Academy will require you to pay some fee sub sented amount before they can give you the certification now all you need to do is ensure you do the compulsory mandatory ones as I mentioned earlier then you can get Abby a Care Center Nursing Home limited when I type in type it out then I'm going to go to their website I'm going to go to their job seter and if I see any current vacancies I'm going to apply alternatively I'm going to reach them contact them directly I'm going to contact them through the email address or the phone number if I'm accessible to do that this is just one of the so many care
