Doesn’t matter what kind or brand bike it was. It didn’t seem like he had his head in the game, was going too fast for the traffic, didn’t notice the vehicle in front stopping and panicked. He was following to close.

I'm no expert, but I believe the rider was thinking that the brakes worked the same as on a Flintstones Car.
