all right i've been coming to capri for five years in a row now i know a lot about this place i'm going to show you the best places to eat shop and sleep let's go we made it first order of business now as soon as you get off the ferry stop at salumeria de aldo and try the caprese penino it will blow your mind rush hour here in company home sweet home now i've stayed at hotels all over capri but i only stay at la minerva everything about this place is magical the owner is the handsome devil the food is incredible the rooms are beautiful the view spectacular la minerva check them out tell them love this place another amazing restaurant for dinner is villa margarita this night we went with a bunch of friends and we had dinner with the real housewives of napoli larch later on in the day today i think it's time to walk down to see the fella leone rocks towards the fontalina which isn't actually open because it's may and it doesn't open i think till june i'm gonna bring the drone we're gonna get some beautiful shots of the rock all the way down there [Music] now you can walk all the way down here to lafontalina in front of the fairly only rocks or you could take a taxi to marina piccola and take a boat over here had a minor drone accident trying to catch it out of the air all right let's go all right so for lunch my favorite place to eat on the island zucchini pasta so we got bruschetta for julian yeah with tomato 37 orders plates of pasta too much carbohydrate here we go [Music] another day another dinner da tonino is another amazing restaurant a little bit off the beaten path fabio showed me this place a couple years ago and i go back every year highly recommended [Music] large minerva she's nervous another famous tourist attraction i highly recommend is the chairlift in anacapri put your skis up let's see which will take you to the highest point of the entire island [Music] uber pick us up here now we're walking down the mountain because who needs a chairlift [Music] that's your nickname no you [Music] anacapri is another town on the island that's slightly elevated so you'd have to take a bus or a car to get here favorite pizza spotting island is up here [Music] if you're looking for beautiful decorations for your home you have to check out the seagull capri my friend claudio owns it check this place out tell them i sent you dinner tonight went there last year with my brother and all the guys and we're going back same crew this restaurant's amazing it's on the top of the mountain you get to watch the sunset they grow all their own vegetables and to get a spot in la fontaillina because it's usually booked up marina piccola is your spot you can come down here you can get a chair it's like 25 euros a pop they give you towels food drinks and there's all kinds of other places over here where the locals hang out [Music] so tonight is a big night la minerva has opened their restaurant on the rooftop it is brand new and you guys already know i'm obsessed with the food at this hotel and we're going to give you guys a little sneak peek if you're in capri this is the place you want to sleep and where you want to eat [Music] i feel like we each other yeah of course i'm coming back this summer don't worry so he's your own he's like she all we've just begun with this service just for our guest this year with a new chef in this magical place i hope you're gonna enjoy it i already i already told the camera that you have some of the best food on the island probably in all of italy that i've ever had we are never happy and i try always to i'm super picky too with food so for me to say that the food here is amazing it's amazing so i'm excited for dinner i hope this evening we do our best we're waiting for fabio or no yeah i think that is better that we start to eat okay otherwise i'm hungry it's a disaster i'm very glad this evening to serve something veg fabio's just come it's wow which means that evening is very important we are i'm very glad also in front of fabio to have dinner only vegetarian and for fabio is going to be vegan perfect so we start gennaro we start i would say with the zucchini tartare and for fabio of course it has to be the option vegan not vegetarian and then we go with the pasta which is a pasta a way of pasta made very typical of the region made with um tomato cheese and eggplants but made in a
