The Bolshevik takeover of tech proceeds apace.

With a systematic takeover of our Western institutions, it's looking more and more like a repeat of the Holodomor - but this time on a worldwide scale.

It's too bad that the tech industry couldn't figure out how these CoC's were part of the plan - even with many people like myself screaming it at them as plainly as possible. Like Linux, Microsoft is also completely converged - all of their open source projects have this Bolshevik CoC.

My advice for Linus is to use whatever influence he has left to throw out all regressive leftists and their supporters in the Linux foundation, and sever them from the infrastructure.

I believe that several of his family members may also be regressive leftists, but what you are supposed to due in that case is to tell them that they must abandon the extremist ideology or be thrown out on the street.

the linux foundation is now canceling people over their political opinions that's our topic for the day so a few days ago a story started circulating around the internet about this guy that was going to attend a conference that the Linux Foundation host called kuba Khan and he was going to the conference and then he was disinvited from said conference because someone complained to the Linux Foundation about this guy that he violates the Linux code of conduct because apparently this guy has some political opinions his political opinions are that he took a picture outside of Trump Tower in a read make America great again had and I guess this woman on Twitter took offense to it and complained to the Linux Foundation about it and they disinvited this man this gentleman from their event so just sharing just a couple of things on the story I came across this article from reclaimed the net canceled culture taints the Linux Foundation developer publicly disinvited from event over political opinions so I'll link to that article for those that want to read it and of course Bronwyn Duke recently did a video on this called Linux Foundation bans person for quote tome policing so let's discuss this a little further so what exactly is tone policing you hear people throw around that phrase what is tone policing well let's look up the Wikipedia article on tone policing it is basically an ad hominem attack ad hominem means personal it's an ad hominem attack it's a basically anti debate tactic based on criticizing a person for expressing and emotion tone policing two tracks from the validity of a statement by attacking the tone in which it was presented rather than the actual message itself that is tone policing I think a better definition is over at urban dictionary urban dictionary always has the best definitions and the very first one on tone police is tone police are people focused on and critique how something has said ignoring whether or not it is true they will discard a true statement simply because they don't like how it was presented this attitude is prevalent among emotional midgets mental midgets liberals and wimps now don't let the urban dictionary definition fool you into thinking tone policing is only done by liberals like this definition sort of implied because quite frankly if I go back to the Wikipedia Wikipedia article tone policing some of the classic tone policing examples are usually aimed at women as often liberal women so say I'm a guy and you know this site black woman well black woman is in a debate with me and women typically are more emotional than men just throwing that out there I know it's a stereotype but say this angry black woman you know it's the making me well I can just throw that label back back at her I was like nothing she says is true can't you see she's just a quote angry black woman I just told police her right I basically said you can't trust her because look at the way she's expressing herself look at the way look look at the way she's presenting this rather than whatever the words coming out of her mouth actually are basically this guy his name was I believe his name is Steve woods me anyway he posted over on Twitter let me show you guys the post he says I thought I'd drop by the White House while in New York City and of course by White House in New York City he's talking about Trump Tower he took a photo outside Trump Tower wearing his red make America great again Kim Wow and then the lady here Kim Creighton says I'll just leave this right here she posted something on Twitter basically she wanted to bring this to the attention of the Linux Foundation and she had a bunch of really not so nice things to say about Steve woods I guess anybody that might support Donald Trump I can't really repeat what she says but you know what here is some of her tweets if you F civility we are not friends I don't want or need to talk about whatever you're just realizing that your little video had the opposite effect and then you'd plan so to be clear if you then she gave him the finger so this is the lady that followed the complaint about Steve woods to the Linux Foundation so they disinvited Steve woods from this Kubik on convention I'm assuming if Kim Creighton wanted to go to the convention she's still okay all he did was post a picture and I read make America great again cap but she is dropping f-bombs left and right and if you actually look at her Twitter feed it is just a cesspool of just vile and filthy stuff a lot of foul language and a lot of personal hateful insults directed at people and this is the problem this is the problem with today's cancel culture more often than not the people calling for somebody else to be cancelled are actually more of a jackass than the person that they actually won't cancelled not like nine times out of ten that's that's the case and unfortunately nine times out of ten it seems to work because she complains about this guy you know look he's obviously a Trump supporter he must be racist fascist throw out whatever label misogynist whatever anyway the Linux Foundation it's like yep you're right let's review our code of conduct he clearly does not meet our code of conduct he's disinvited from the convention and a lot of people supported the Linux Foundation doing this is strange I mean they made the announcement that they were disinviting this guy because of Kim Creighton and then you know somebody named Brian Hughes here and was replying to Linux Foundation could Cuba Khan and Kim Creighton saying thank you so much for making this call I really respect the work you've done recently in creating welcome spaces at your conferences and basically the Linux Foundation says thank you Brian we really appreciate you saying that and the Linux Foundation has come out saying that they want their conferences to be quote safe spaces so it's I've talked about this for the whole safe space movement is really infiltrated society in a big way and it is obviously infiltrated Linux in a big way it looks like you can't disagree with anyone anymore in a civil way right if someone has a different opinion than you they clearly are evil and must be destroyed and it seems like this this tribalism you know my team versus your team left versus right white versus black you know man versus woman whatever it's always we got a split into two different teams and tear each other apart and we have to pretend like there's no third side to any argument it's only black or white you know it's only heads or tails it's only true or false and there's no gray area anywhere in between it and it's ridiculous for one thing Kim Creighton doesn't even know I called him Steve woods earlier it's nameless actually Charles woods Hey she doesn't know Charles woods political persuasion right I mean is he really a Republican is he really a trump supporter maybe he just happened to be in New York City going by Trump Tower I wanted to take a picture and thought it'd be a cool picture if he wore the red make America great again cap right I mean maybe he didn't even vote for Trump who knows Kim Creighton certainly doesn't know I don't know you don't know but we're gonna jump to some conclusion that a he's a Trump supporter and not only to that conclusion if he's a Trump supporter he must be racist fascist some kind of neo-nazi he must be anti-woman and on top of that he must not belong in our community talking about the Linux community and the free and open-source software community he basically is banished from that community he has nothing to offer to our community because he supports Trump one interesting aspect of this cancel culture phenomenon is that these it seems like canceled culture when somebody just decides I want to cancel somebody it's always a really quick act accusation like they immediately jump to a conclusion they don't do any homework on it and they I think most of the time they know that their accusation probably doesn't have any merit at all right but that's not the point and that the point is not whether it's factual they just want that person erased they want that person cancelled they don't care if anything they're saying is true truth is secondary to the goal at hand the goal at hand is to destroy the other team you know whatever team you might be on so we've had this problem in the Linux community especially the last couple of years you guys know last year we had the big code of conduct controversy that's when the Linux Foundation the Linux kernel team decided to adopt the contributors covenant code of conduct and a lot of people really fault about that there was a lot of arguments on both sides about how this was a great thing and a lot of arguments from the other side saying adopting a code of conduct was terrible because it was going to lead to people getting cancelled the way Charles woods apparently has been canceled I took a position actually when I covered this story the Code of Conduct story last year that you know the Linux Foundation and the Linux kernel team are perfectly free to adopt any code of conduct they want i still hold that opinion I mean you can't force somebody into adopting a code of conduct or not a dummy it's their organization their business they can do what they want you can choose not to be a part of it so the Linux Foundation absolutely has a right to adopt a code of conduct but we don't have to support that decision and we don't have to support the Linux Foundation and quite frankly we don't have to support Linux as software as a kernel and operating system or supporting Linux as a community if the community is going to stand by and support something like this safe space movement and this cancel culture movement it does seem to be a much more recent phenomenon you know as I get older you know when I was a kid I didn't see these kind of overreactions about things right you could have a with somebody that today would be deemed just totally horrible evil person you know even if you didn't agree with them you know if I sat down and had a discussion with somebody that was admittedly a neo-nazi or a Klan member or misogynist of some bigot in some way anti-gay whatever anti-semitic back when I was a kid it seemed like yeah you may not agree with those folks but you could at least have a conversation with them and be civil and disagree with them strongly disagree with them but now it's like we have to just shut people down and for much less then stuff like that right now we shut people down because they are not of the political persuasion I am you know they don't support my team right my team has to win the best way for mine team to win is to get out there and just slander everybody else and the way you you do that the best way to do that these days it's just to be the loudest and most outrageous when you complain because that's become almost second nature when you're out there making these outlandish remarks on Twitter on social medias the social media is really behind all of this I guess that's part of why this was not common when I was a kid is because we didn't have internet we didn't have social media but now as long as you are just out there just throwing out accusations on social media people assume it's true right it's it's true unless proven otherwise instead of people actually doing their homework and finding out if any of the accusations that these people are making have any factual basis so we really need to start thinking about the organizations we support as a community as the Linux community the open-source community the free software community we need to choose what organizations we support financially or with code or whatever it is we're doing I've always found it much easier personally for me to give money to organizations like the Free Software Foundation the Electronic Frontier Foundation the then the Linux Foundation I've never given money to the Linux Foundation because quite frankly the Linux Foundation is in bed with big corporations right many people think the Linux kernel is this community project that just you and me and millions of other people from around the globe are contributing code that's not really the case like 80% of the patches that are submitted to the kernel are done by people that are actually paid to work on the kernel people that are working on it being paid through the Linux Foundation which is funded by big corporations that donate and sponsor the Linux Foundation or people actually working at those big corporations that and you know Microsoft Facebook and Google and Huawei and all these gigantic corporations you know they have people working for their corporations that actually work on the Linux kernel of course for their own personal selfish reasons obviously for those corporate reasons that is what is behind the Linux Foundation and those big corporations are also part of the safe space movement and the council culture movement I mean that's these are very liberal organizations these big corporations and they are really the driving force behind much of this in society and the fact that the Linux Foundation is just dominated especially by companies like Google it is not a shock to see that they've taken such crazy political stances here in the last year or two it could get to the point that we have to start deciding what operating system we want to run based on politics it could get to that point it could be that open-minded people and people that don't want to be part of the all the hate and the drama maybe we can't rent Linux anymore maybe it's time to start giving BSD a serious look especially if the linux foundation is going to ban people from attending their conferences based on wearing a make America great again hat I for one can't support the Linux Foundation I can't recommend that you guys support the Linux Foundation as a matter of fact in defiance of the Linux Foundation let me put on my make America great again hat and apparently I won't be going to Kubek on this year because the Hat but also I wanted to bring back my point from earlier in the video Kim Creighton and all you cancel culturist out there you have no idea if I voted for Donald Trump or if I my trump supporter just because I have the Hat you don't know if Charles and woods is really a trump supporter I bought the head I attended a trump rally I videotaped it for historical reasons and I'm just gonna put this out there I didn't vote for the men now before I go this show the show was made possible by Alex handsome Chris Daniel David DJ Donny Dylan George hello Nate Corbin Ian lamda Mitchell Nate Tech Rob Robert Sean Willie
