Can we Survive on a Deserted Island!?

today we sailed through the bermuda triangle to this deserted island to spend 50 hours on the island but we messed up we didn't know it was gonna be so hard to get from the sailboat to the island because the coral reef is blocking the sailboat from getting any closer to the shore all i want right now is to get off this boat we're getting so seasick the best way to get from the sailboat to the island would be with the dinghy we don't have one of those but we found this swimming pool some of the kids are going to ride in that ashton and i are going to pull them [Music] looks like we're gonna do this guys no what's wrong i just can't wait to get on the island and i hope the seasickness gets goes away and what's up guys i can't believe we're doing this this is crazy we're almost there i did i made it onto the island i made onto the island but everyone else is either swimming or on that route they're so close but i don't know what's going on i'm here to see your and that is not good almost there brighton give me a head all right urgent with my hands it took us longer to get here than we thought but we got here before the sun set we don't have much time to make up our camp before the sun goes down and it's gonna get cold so we gotta hurry and do this i'm already cold come on did we drop the camp from the boat hopefully guys we're to the island but we left our tent on the boat and we also left towels and i'm i'm really cold i don't know what we're gonna have to do because it's getting dark quick i just realized how crazy this color is i just we just showed our babies on a flower [Music] we finally got our tent on the island we're looking for a place that is not going to get soaked there is seaweed up here that means that sometimes the water does come up so uh i was over just trying to get some stuff set up i saw something floating in the ocean and now i'm really concerned because i thought everything made it in our little pool i just found our dry bag in the ocean all of our phones our phones were in there yes so now i don't know what we have oh we don't have you didn't quite get camp set up before dark but it's almost done now we got our tent up but the steaks will not stake into the soft sand so it just like stays halfway up it's the best we can do right in round up the boys make a campfire we need to get dinner going guys i'm about to light the fire i'm so excited what is it this is the only wood we have for cooking tonight we can't light it until everyone's like ready and done doing their task let's light it finally we have wet soaked chairs because they fell in the ocean but we have warm fire we are hungry you guys ready to get some food going yeah what do we have uh i need to go find out what made it guys i don't even know i found as much in the ocean as i could i'm sure we have some food here goes the first hot dog i'm concerned the weenies are going to shrink and fall through the cracks when they're cooked that'd be bad because then we'd run out of weenies we need some more wood to make a bigger fire um casein packs in ashland here's my light where do i put the weenie juice i got the first hot dog i don't know yet i don't know if it's sandy it's good first meal all day oh yeah yeah i haven't had a hot dog in years but this smells so good it's hot he can't even close his mouth all right we made it to the island we had our first meal this challenge has officially begun and there's hope we might be able to spend 50 hours on the island day two yesterday was pretty awesome i'm glad nobody got hurt that's my biggest fear is that somebody's gonna get hurt while we're out here i'm feeling all right a little tired there was water hitting the tent last night we definitely did not put it high enough honestly i slept pretty good hard sand but today the family will be competing in several challenges every time they win a challenge they'll get a clue as to where this buried treasure chest is hidden it contains 1 000 gold coins that should be some motivation for them hopefully i remember where it is under this tree right here now if they find it on their own that counts too they don't have to wait to get the clues i'm gonna have to dig some more false holes so they don't see that all the dirt was disturbed right here i don't know what's gonna happen today really i'm just kind of going with the flow i think we're just doing some challenges i hope we're gonna spend the next like how many more hours 35 more hours and it's gonna be pretty awesome 30. how long have we been here i forgot i'm gonna build a table so we have somewhere to stick our breakfast all right breakfast is served all right guys congratulations on surviving your first night and morning on the island we're going to now explore the entire island and see what we can find but i have a surprise for you because this morning i hid ten thousand dollars in a treasure chest somewhere on the island if you find it you get to keep it actually it's just 1 000 in gold but it's still pretty cool we're gonna have some challenges throughout the day every time you win a challenge you will receive a clue as to where the treasure chest is hidden it's not going to be easy to find so those clues might be what it takes for you to find it are you guys ready to explore this island keep an eye out for that treasure chest let's go we're going exploring i'm gonna find the treasure chest check this out we found a fossilized conch shell i wonder how old this conch shell is maybe like hundreds of years old that's crazy we found a bunch of endangered birds those birds are actually called boobies and um right and stuff looking at the boobies what no they're pretty birds all right we were gonna try to climb this hill to see what was up there it looks like these boobies are nesting and they're trying to protect their young and so we're not gonna go up there and disturb them but look at this one right here it's got two little babies under her it's so cool guys we came to a dead end where this bee seems to run into some rocks but this looks like a beautiful place to fish so this is your first challenge whoever catches the first fish wins the challenge and gets the clue about where the treasure is you made it to the water i caught a fish fish yeah i need to reel it in dude look how big that thing is that means got away like almost 200 pounds 200 pounds yeah it's massive and i kind of fished in my net and i just bring it back and then i looked back and it was just gone but i didn't lose technically because no one else caught anything either guys i saw a fish and i almost got it but i reeled in too quick [Applause] man did you actually go and catch that yeah did we put it does that even count so small though oh i can't find it there it is it's dead you caught a dead fish well for sure she still caught a fish so i guess it counts hayton gets to know the clue that's so lame all right peyton good job on catching catching the fish was it just like loading on the surface or something it wasn't floating it was just like in the okay sure here's your clue the treasure is buried in the beach in the sand buried in the shade all right it is lunch at this time for lunch do you guys hear something is there someone back there there's a is that a person i think there's a person on our deserted island hello hey how mom ever yeah i guess they came because they saw our boat and they know no one's ever here because it's devil's island and no one comes so they came in to warn us that the boat was rocking pretty big but i'm sure it'll be fine it's just it's i'm sure it's fine the bermuda triangle is a crazy thing because i know so many ships and planes have like just disappeared i think the whirlpools aren't gonna come because we're in the piano triangle i feel like it's gonna suck this whole island up like today okay ninja fam i've got another challenge for you whoever can skip a rock the furthest the most skips wins oh yeah i think i got this you have 10 seconds to find a rock go what one second i'm gonna win okay who's going first first up is cason let's see the rocky shows it's pretty small do you think it's going to be a winner yeah yeah come over here i didn't see it go anywhere are you sure you threw it yeah okay i i think probably it's not going to be a winner zero point next up is rock i'm pretty confident oh that throw is terrible and he only got like one skip this is my rock and i'm totally gonna win this gonna be an easy victory i feel like i can win you ready one two he got two skips uh i thought it would have done better but at least i'm not out yet can i can i skip we can choose one rock yeah one rock i'll take it okay [Music] between brighton and paxton they get to skip again that means paxton just needs two skips to win one oh zero zero squish that means i won't zero good job on skipping the rock your clue is palm tree palm tree it's close to a palm tree that means for sure maybe in a palm tree there's only like five palm trees i totally got this all right let's see what happens i'm gonna find this woo good job so far guys your next challenge is to see how much island trash you can find gather it up and bring it back to our camp so that we can remove it from the island a lot of trash floats up on these islands bad for the environment it's bad for the animals we're gonna take any trash that we find off of this island whoever gathers the most trash will get the next clue guys right now i'm going through all the brush it's a lot faster to go there to there and go all the way around the island there are prickly pear cactuses everywhere you definitely don't want to step on one of those peyton did not bring any shoes i think she was planning to ride my back is actually a pretty big island all right i enjoyed the jungle trek i didn't kick any cactus so i made it and kayson made it it's a win so i just found the jackpot of trash yeah look how many bottles i found nope these are all mine there's one more little piece back here well if you share the clue with me i'll let you use the net uh no i'll just carry it the rest of the way i'm gonna win the next challenge and get two clues got another bottle look how much stuff i've gotten we're back at camp and the ninja family is bringing their trash in case in where's your trash buddy didn't find any all right i think peyton's pile is bigger than paxton's pile looks like peyton's in the lead so far i got a bunch of garbage and i picked up a pool whoa whoa okay actually got quite a bit of garbage this is my pile that's not bad but it's not enough to give you the lead no i thought i was gonna win i didn't know they would find so much i was finding little things i didn't know that's it that's your whole pile i held all the fishing poles there appears to be a conflict between peyton and ashton you want to tell them what happened okay so i found this and it was in the ground i was like pulling on it and i'm like okay actually i can't get it out he goes let me try and then and then i don't know no no no no let me finish my story he starts pulling on it and i go wait ashton that means you're gonna say it's yours and he goes yep and i say wait no no no and he just pulls it out and walks away so i think it all comes down to this i'm gonna say this is gonna be left neutral which means it's out of play it does appear that peyton has a larger pile which means that she now gets her second clue peyton won that's crazy i'll bake the items first no no i agree i think peyton has more since i helped you win will you tell me your clue maybe maybe all right i'll take it not cool brayton great job peyton you're the only person with two clues now your clue is shade oh okay let's see if paige can find the treasure with those two clues so i know that it's buried in the shade peyton and i are gonna tell each other's clues so we can have a better idea but still whoever finds it first gets all the money flashback to my clue so you guys know what my clue is and what payton's clues are buried in the beach shade palm tree now my clue as you remember is a sailboat in my clue should i tell both of them i'll tell one of them buried buried in the sand buried in the sand all right what are you why are you laughing guys i lied that's not my clue you have to tell me your clue know my clue was palm trees and i got the clue from peyton that i was buried under the sand so the logical thing to do is just search all the palm trees i mean it has to be around a palm tree right let's go i don't know oh oh that was pokey guys i don't know where to search i've gotta look for like disturbed sand that like wasn't there all day because i think they just dug it this morning i should be able to see something unless it's at a different palm tree i'm trying to search for the treasure but peyton and paxton are here following me and looking at where i'm going and i think they're going to try to steal the treasure if i find it guys they are right at the tree where the treasure is very bright and sticking in it right now he's gonna find it for sure is that it i i did hit something solid you guys could be digging for a long time to find this treasure it's a really big beach is it deep it means it's a really big beach come on just give me a hint i know that you know where it is come on just tell me what palm tree one step at a time there was a shot then a lot of things in my arms lots and the witch was riding it oh my god that's oh it's alive i didn't know it was a lie how did you catch that like this stop oh i had him let's see you peyton's the brave one he'll reach under there and get you he is whoa all right i'm braver than brighton i'm so mad at you right now hold on hold on i have a pineapple okay oh he's all crabby i am making some tinfoil dinners oh there's one that's done action how is it gonna have a little bit more seasoning but besides that it is amazing do you want dinner jason are you too tired you want dinner yeah okay let's make case in a plate whoa it's on just in case we got stuck on this island we brought some flares we have a few extras so we wanted to test it out make sure they work made it through the second day and we're into the second night but i'm extremely concerned that this section where we set up our tent is going to get washed away at night there's a chance we could wake up and just be flooded with water i don't know what's gonna happen but we're pretty committed at this point so there's no turning back all right guys it is time for the next challenge we're gonna do a stick it challenge to see who can stick a back flip on this soft sand on the beach the landing isn't the hard part it's taking off are you guys ready for this yeah let's go for this challenge ally and kayson are still working on their backflip so they get to go back up all the trash that everybody else gathered since they gathered the nun and the leash go back the trash first up ashton and paxton ready set go oh whoa did you stick it did he land it yeah i think he landed it next up payton versus brighton ready set okay they both made it perfect for round two whoever does two backflips first wins go one one two yes one nice try peyton final round brighton versus ashton first one to complete three backflips go [Music] i went action i almost didn't land the last one nice job x i'm mad about that congratulations to ashton yes he earned his first hint are you ready for it i'm super ready your hint is west this way okay that way the sun rises on the east and sets on the west clever boy okay so i guess we're gonna work on our backflips we got garbage duty and stuff and it's time for our next challenge the first person two get a coconut into the circle wins let's go oh oh okay they're both holding the coconut i don't know what to do with this here comes brighton and we both agree we both get to hear the clip that's unexpected i guess we'll give that one to paxton and payton but first we have another coconut challenge now they're going to hold one coconut in each hand like this and the last person to drop their arms wins this challenge with the circle this one's so heavy guys this is unfair pain is like the inside of it arms up might as well jump in with them i had a big workout on friday i think i can win this i think i'm probably the strongest out of everyone so i have like the heaviest coconut oh jason's arms are down below his shoulders oh yeah oh my elbows are starting to hurt man this is starting to get hard especially my right arm it's so heavy super hard i can't give up all these arms are dippy this is a freaking huge coconut my shoulders are starting to burn and i don't even have anything to gain if i win oh my right arm hurts so bad that's it it's between paxton and payton they won the last coconut challenge are they gonna win this one who's gonna win cheating all right good job you two my super twins winning the coconut challenges did you two strategize that coming in at the same time was that a plan no it wasn't your clue is where the sun sets oh that's a good clue and paxton gets another clue right for paxton's clue you get to tell him one of your clues it is buried in the sand got it yeah it is time for our final challenge this is coconut bowling yeah yeah whoever wins gets a special prize a metal detector oh what i'm gonna win all right i'm going first wish me luck i need that metal detector seven down but i'm not sure about this one we're gonna say seven and a half oh yeah seven and a half i'll take it guys this is the moment of truth because whoever gets them i don't detect those things that was crazy he missed no metal detector for backstage payton has to get at least eight pins to win can you do it i think so oh yes she got one i'm still in the lead i'm gonna win three only three went down only three didn't go down for brighton that was pretty good there's one two three four five still up he did not beat brighton but that was still pretty good okay guys i didn't win any of the other challenges so i have no clue where the treasure is so come on honey i'm counting on you i want to share that if you win it i get half right you know what if i win it it's mine i'm so mad ashton it's all up to you can you get eight pins and beat brighton i am so nervous but i got this there's only one pin standing and actually got nine pins he took the win coconut like landed right there i mean he threw it down the whole thing it still landed on the ground before it hit the first pit when i went a chicken nina congratulations ashton gets the metal detector hey do you need to plug it into something i've never used one of these and i don't even know if it's going to work on that treasure chest i'm not sure i i'll find out good morning everyone good morning brighton this island is deserted for a good reason i mean they don't call it devil's island for nothing i never want to come here ever again i love this place jason we're out of chips get me out of here are you guys ready to find this treasure yeah yeah this is their last chance to find the treasure before we have to leave it behind and maybe one of you will find it ashton took first in bowling so he gets the metal detector and he gets a two-minute head start yeah brighton got second place so brighton gets to choose between the shovel and a second metal detector oh i'll take the metal detector all right there you go oh yeah third place was casing he gets the shovel yeah and i'm really glad i got a head start your two-minute head start begins now good guys i need to find this as fast as i can i heard something next time three next palm tree guys i think it's right here i think it's right here yes i found it the middle detector was so helpful ryan's gonna be so bad yeah i got it i found it i got a thousand dollars i'm so mad right now that's where i was looking all day yesterday are you ready i'm gonna open it and see what's inside guys check that out no passion hey guys i'm so mad i knew it was gonna be under the street i must have missed it somehow i'm so mad yeah i think it got unburied a lot from all the tides it is super heavy what do you guys think should ashton keep the treasure should he spend it or should he give it away yeah give it away to me no no no no i didn't not all whoever wins the challenge gets to fire off this flare gun to let our sailboat captain know that we're ready to return to the boat oh yeah we're going shortest to tallest showcasing's first are you ready cason yeah it's all up to you buddy knock that ninja ball off get a skinner and get us rescued he fell a little short but that was a good shot you ready peyton good shot peyton didn't quite get there i can taste that watermelon already oh what he hit the watermelon he was so close he was probably about six inches away you got it ashley he's staring at you any tips hit it oh he shot high no the watermelon ninja is still alive we gotta take him out because she's our dinner all right bridget i've got faith in you got this oh so close he stuck it right below the watermelon oh good shot good shot round two we gotta get this thing done guys this is actually embarrassing i thought it would be a lot easier than it is that's how it's done who's the ninja master i get a shoe the flare gun i have never shot a flare gun so i'm actually kind of excited about it we anchored on this island 50 hours ago now it's time to fire off this flare gun to let our boat captain know that we're ready to go back to the boat three two one all right i'm about to shoot the flare gun three two one and i hit the water guys i am so ready i got my snorkel swing in my eye and i got my water scooter [Applause] while loading up the boat a bow fell in the water so i took a water scooter into a 45 feet for one final treasury home to show our gratitude for diablo key we honored our commitment and left it cleaner than we found it we did it we survived diablo keep yeah
