one morning while I was drinking tea I rushed the window and Spilled most of it down myself because we've got this Abbott self-propelled gun arriving sadly however it was broken what a kill so I connected up the hollow bones but we towed it off like a trailer foreign there was one thing really annoying me and that was the Baila twine round the barrel I mean for God's sake all the hatches into the turret were absolutely seized solid um so I could look in there the tracks don't look bad but the road wheels are pretty scabby and disgusting um the track pads are also knackered uh but yeah it's not all bad it's not good it's not bad sadly they wanted to explain to the Lorry driver why we couldn't afford to pay him because the vehicles in such a poor state and eventually you left so we had to get Cody's tank into place because I've got a gap called Sid probably to help me wash it so we thought we'd get into position for him [Music] I'm a little bit sad that this tree it really was a good bit of Kit and I didn't really want to sell it but anyway it's time to get the engine out of the Abbott because I need to see what problems you're about to face so the first thing I do is jump in the Swiss army knife I'm in the JCB so I need to move the turret around to gain access to the louvers which cover the engine we need to take them off and then we can actually start to uncouple the hoses and fittings we've got some of the louvers off now we can see how Rusty this engine is [Music] brilliant Snap-on snap off quality this video was not brought to you by Snap-on Tools let's see how good this one is oh it's actually I can't believe that's moved now do this side that looks like it's been at the bottom of the Atlantic for forever that's not where I said what are you doing it's like watching so are you pissed but or just completely disabled are you doing this is stressing me out I'm gonna have to I'm not sure what was going on in Matt's brain but I couldn't bear to watch him anymore so I climbed underneath and started to remove the engine pack hold down bolts not a nice job this is a good sign oh yes yes it's disgusting ah oh no that's not nice oh I'm having a wait oh everything oh that's good so I'm definitely using a 9 16 spanner and not a 14 mil it's hard to uh to film and work that's why I look like I'm struggling with a simple job here so there's a lot of shooting they're getting closer okay so that's the pack lifting frame connected so everything's out now everything's disconnected we think that doesn't sound oh it looks amazing right if you could drop it now I'd love if he just reversed it to his brand new roller door I would find it very amusing oh she's a good one [Music] it's not been leaking oh it's not been leaking oh he's an old girl the radiator looks like the copper mites have had it quite badly oh she's had a bit of a water leak down here yes so this was sold as a runner there's water leaking out of the crank casing at this end as well she's very good has it got water I think it's fresh it's a big water leak that nobody isn't do you know what that is that isn't a water leak what is it that is rain water leaking off to louvers yeah yeah down that Rusty hole there and just bleeding rust also so actually although it's minging might not be too bad that's even a problem well that's a problem shut up Dad who's that who's that get him Ted get him get him go get him see him off get him go and get him [Music] tasty it is that so that's obviously been reconditioned and it's still because they never come out black I just like the oil everywhere oh look at this look at this hydraulic pipe we can mend that with you but that's gonna work um no it's not but it's lubricated that prop that huge it that's self lubricating here I'm not gonna say it Jack's misses when she finds out I spent the wedding from what's Happening what the what they've done is melted Like Glue over it so it needs a new rad at the very least there's loads about yeah I've seen thousands of them for sale have you yeah you know what that sounds like to me 10 miles high a jack problem s that could have been worse that hasn't been out for a little while looks like a jack job scraping all that out it's got a lot of work to do yeah a lot of work for a little man why don't you just get better look at this oh he's had that made new look yeah guy what a guy too far he's a good budget artist this chap he's a farmer that that says everything he's had stuff going the fat and the fans just eating it oh and they're worse right well all right so should we phone jack up and tell him he's a mug you'll see this on YouTube [Laughter] well I think just put it straight in the skip which is easy to move around the scrap man will take it easier eventually we finish bickering and I started on washing the engine back off foreign well that wasn't very enjoyable still more to go sadly my power washer was cut short when I noticed that oil started leaking from the sump turns out someone's used snot and chewing gum to repair cracks in the bottom of the Sun so that's excellent there's another job that we're gonna have to do now foreign Cody's tank uh you might know him on YouTube as Partridge exterior cleaning why Sid got to work cleaning Cody's tank me and Jack got to work stripping off the Abbott engine pack we do actually have a spare engine pack um that one has had a few bits robbed off but I have got replacement parts coming and I will build that up as a secondary engine I went and then did a bit of filming for Sid with his drone and amazingly I didn't crash it so that was good so me and Jack are actually trying to remove the heat exchanger and there you go Jack's got it off um that's actually failed on the gearbox side so that takes uh coolant from the radiator and cools the gearbox oil down but what it's actually doing is taking call up from the radiator and putting it in with the gearbox all so that isn't good anyway it's the end of the day Sid's gone home he's worked very hard made a nice job of cleaning Cody's tank there's still a fair bit more to do if you're going to come up and do a bit more um I wanted to put it inside uh so we don't have Birds pooing on it and whatever keep it clean and I thought we could fit it in front of the t-34 so we did some measuring and it was going to be extremely tight and Jack said that it won't fit and I said it would fit and he said it would fit and I said well if I'm right you buy me breakfast so of course I wasn't going to be proven wrong so if you know if you've been watching my previous videos I've had to cut the half the breech off of the gun now this means that when you try and lift it up obviously it's now out of balance and you need to be extremely strong to elevate the gun so I'm assisting it here with a forklift foreign as slow as humanly possible and I was absolutely frightened to death I was going to rip the roller shutter down and smash the whole Shadow because I wouldn't even know I've done it in this thing from there wouldn't you know it it fits absolutely perfect so it looks like Jack owes me breakfast thank you for watching please
