Can I name all 49 Flags of Asia?

by the end of this video i will have learned every flag in asia that's 49 different flags and i don't know i probably know like 20 of them at the moment so we'll get to that in just a second but first in the previous video i learned all 47 flags of europe so i just want to prove that i've nailed that now so that we can move on to the next continent greece okay uk malta i'm just gonna go through them all italy bosnia has governor ukraine we've got albania very scary flag we've got russia we've got macedonia hungary tomorrow and the lettuce yes ireland romania same flag as chad spin we've got croatia we have nowhere we've got kosovo cyprus uh czechia we've got poland not monaco very very similar though we've got finland moldova portugal uh this is slovakia not slovenia we've got lichtenstein richtenstein there we go we've got the vatican we've got switzerland we've also got estonia and what's that it's the netherlands 27 of 47. we have got bulgaria i know it i know it latvia and dora that is sl no no serbia then we've got sweden we've got turkey luxembourg belgium denmark lithuania uh germany and then san marino we've got monaco very similar to the poland flag kai put the pollen flag next to it belarus we have iceland nearly there nearly there we've got france slovenia montenegro austria and that's it nailed it take a victory lap don't mind if i do perfect stuff right it is time to learn asia oh god once we've done this we'll be halfway to knowing all the flags in the world if you don't know that's basically what i'm trying to do i learned all 197 countries so now i want to learn all 197 countries flags so in all fairness i feel like i could do a fair amount of these so let's see i think i know what that is is it indonesia no it's not nor is it malaysia it is malaysia i should be able to remember that this one i do know it's bangladesh there we go and then that one i sign up mexico i'm gonna skip that one because i don't know it this one i do know it is india shout out to all the indian fans out there i know there's a fair amount of them singapore i think this one is go on there we go all i need to spell right no clue what that is i've never seen it before ever and then this is where it's gonna start getting tricky because a lot of these middle eastern countries they've got very very similar colored flags okay what we'll do is i'll click on the ones i know israel and then we've got whoa i don't know i know this one though that is nepal changing the game with their flag that is vietnam yeah there's a bunch that i don't know but there's at least there's a couple that i do know okay let's scroll through here we learned this one a couple of episodes ago that is of course bhutan yes and then that one kinda looks similar to bhutan so i wonder if it's a neighboring country could it be mayan ma mayan ma ah it's not okay we'll come back to in that case right this one we've already done in the europe one get in there little cheeky freebie for us because obviously it's a eurasian country so that is turkey and then oh we've got south korea excellent that one i do weirdly know i'm not quite sure why lebanon there we go no idea what that is though oh we have another freebie we've got another freebie it is the russian flag excellent oh we've not done the japanese flag japan land of the rising sun and then the chinese flag should be somewhere where's the chinese flag that's the chinese flag isn't it china yeah and then i also know this one which is cambodia cambodia and i think i'm done i don't think i know any others and we've done 15 or 49 okay so now what i need to do is i need to come up with an individual way to remember each flag i guess we'll start with this one which looks basically identical to the monaco flag is it indonesia yes look at that the monaco flag and the indonesian flag basically look the same if we know this is singapore then we'll remember that the one without the stars is indonesia which is very very near to singapore hopefully we'll remember that one now so indonesia excellent hey look at that we've got a whole raw done that's beautiful i just realized i don't know what to google now for these other flags because i don't know what countries they are we'll start with the afghanistan flag this is gonna be obscure this it's gonna work in my brain all right that's all that matters you see that right that looks like the tale of an afghan hound do you understand what i'm saying that's how we'll remember it okay but let me find it there it is i can barely see it from this distance but we won't worry about it afghanistan perfect all right the kazakhstan flag completely different i'm gonna have to go to borah i'm sorry but it's just what i think of when i think of kazakhstan so this sun looks like the oh in borat kai put the bee and the rat right there they go borax kazakh stan what am i doing wrong how's the kurdistan oh i have to put the hedge right i'm moving on to turkmenistan oh god they're all so different okay so turkmenistan and then the turkey flag they both have this moon and the stars thing right let's also say that these four things are the turkmen in turkmenistan sure right let me find it there it is i don't know how well this is gonna work turkmenistan perfect okay now i'm on kyrgyzstan and i reckon the way i'm gonna remember this one is kyrgyzstan is really hard to spell and this flag would be really hard to draw because of all these intricate little suns that should go on my brain that one there it is look at that look how difficult that is to draw blood yeah i'll take him to the edges right this is the tajekistan flag which i thought was the mexican flag you see that little like waterfall or mushroom or whatever kind of the shape of a tea the tajekistan that'll do all right let's find my little tea flag where is it there it is yes tajikistan perfect oh i'm about to run out of time i'm trying to learn here sparkle okay and i ran out of time well i guess that gives us an opportunity to see if any of this has gone in that i've not learned yet but i could do this one lebanon and then this one is singapore singapore yep that's bangladesh then we've got malaysia yeah don't know that one yet uh what else have we learned we've learned this one it's turkmenistan look these are the four turkmen turkmenistan excellent we know this one already it's turkey and then that one oh that's slightly different to the one that we learn isn't it it looks like the kazakhstan flag oh no wait that is the kazakhstan flag i don't remember this yellow bit on the side but we'll go with it kazakh stan excellent um i know this one as nepal this one is difficult to draw that is kyrgyzstan then oh my god i hear that i can't spell this bloody word there we go cambodia right what's this one it's indonesia indonesia yes oh is this one afghanistan is that my afghan hound in the middle afghanistan it is and to be fair from this distance that looks more like an entire dog an afghan hound perfect russia india japan south korea vietnam bhutan israel there we go i know this one as well t stands for zuzakistan yes it is and then china of course and then i think i'm out and we are out at 21.49 so we've almost learned half of them okay well let's keep going i've not done uzbekistan yet so let's have a look at it we shall go with the moon on the side turned sideways looks like the u at the start of uzbekistan do you think that's enough maybe yeah there's uzbekistan there we go what's the sri lanka flag let's work out that one next oh that's the sri lanka flag i think i can remember that because this side that's the shri and then this little fella that's the lanka of course i reckon i'll remember that sri lanka excellent all right armenia next so i think that's basically the lithuanian flag turned upside down isn't it well we'll remember that armenia is kind of near russia and lithuania that's how we'll remember that one i'm not feeling great about that one i'll be honest armenia excellent azerbaijan flag next they all have very similar elements so that's why this is tricky azerbaijan the moon is giving the star a good buy hug you get it as a baijian goodbye hug that's how we'll remember that one all right good god wish me luck as a bargain oh no i don't know how to spell like that i got it i got it i got it right next we've got bahrain turn that on the side kind of looks like rain falling down we'll go with it there we go bahrain perfect wait am i not doing right oh god hang on that's a different flag oh god there's two incredibly similar flags there's the bahrain flag bahrain oh god well what's that one then it's qatar oh god we'll come back to it we'll come back to it okay we've now got the brunei flag which i always would remember the country by saying brunei the science guy unfortunately this is not a picture of brunei the science guy that would have been incredibly helpful maybe we could say this is brunei the science guy he's got such a big edge because it's full of science where is he then where's bruneia i can't find him anywhere there he is there's brunei brunei the science guy okay a united arab emirates flag a kind of ugly looking flag i'm not gonna lie this red bit is a really tall building because the united arab emirates have the tallest building in the world that's what we're going with uae good iran flag next we'll say that these little things here are just loads of people running because it's called iran where's all those little people running where are they there they are there they are iran great then we've got the iraqi flag you see this bit here if you turn on its side kind of looks like a rack doesn't it like a rack of something it's gonna work it's gonna stick in my brain there it is there's my little rack jordan is the name that katie price the celebrity used to go by and this star here is her nipple i'd like to apologize to katie price and to the country of jordan for that one there it is jordan's nipple okay jordan we got there oh look at that flag it's basically the same but without the nipple right we now move on to the kuwait flag which is also really really similar there's kind of a letter k in there somewhere you know what i mean like the angles are right for it it would kind of fit so maybe that'll be enough to remember me kuwait there we go next we have the flag of laos we'll go similar to kazakhstan we'll put the word laos and this is the oh in laos maybe that'll be enough you never know for the maldives flag i think of like lots of little islands when i think of the maldives so this green square that is an island pool all right this one's a bit weird myanmar the background kind of reminds me of the lithuanian flag which is in europe i am in europe so this is my flag uh myanmar i've got the north korean flag which to be fair i feel like hopefully i'll just remember that because i've seen it before now i think about it north korea and i can imagine that on the side of a missile okay now we have the oman flag which i'm gonna remember by saying oh man how am i gonna remember all these bloody flags okay pakistan this white square is a white packing box pakistan packing box oh saudi arabia flag well they've got the sword and uh saudi arabia a bit scary isn't it really so the sword makes sense hopefully that'll be enough to remember okay this is the syria flag so it's the right colours for that area siri is two syllables sir cool syria good the taiwan flag there's a sun on it the sun is also on the japanese flag and taiwan's near japan it's small island like this one yeah okay cool and then this is the thailand flag which maybe all the lines could be like tying your laces so each one of these is a lace yep right this is the timor leste flag and i do know that timor leste basically translates to east east if i'm not mistaken this is pointing east so hopefully that'll be enough to remember it i'll remember that as each of these three stars are pines philippines okay and then i think that's georgie you know go on go on oh it was it was that one just i knew for some reason and then we've got this one that one and that one i don't know what they are that is mongolia okay mongolian empire big and tall it was massive the mongolian empire just like that thing over on the left mongolia what's that gonna be palestine it was and then that one yemen shout out to my brain everyone okay it is now time for the moment you've all been waiting for has any of that information stayed in my head uh kazakhstan yes oh no something about the oh isn't it it's not oh man either is it um oh something related to all i'm gonna have to skip it i'll come back to it though look at all me three pines that's the philippines everyone philippines and that one is north korea um that one's jordan that's mongolia that is bangladesh then we've got timor leste because it's pointing to the east hmm oh uzbekistan as uzbekistan yes and then iraq vietnam uh bhutan malaysia yes um is that bahrain or is it the other one bahrain bahrain israel and then we've got sri lanka so far this is working it's all just come back to me armenia china turkey i'm so buzzing this is going so much better than i thought palestine indonesia singapore lebanon oh you no no no no it's not coming to me oh my god it is pakistan and then it's brunei the science guy there he is that is japan uh that is united arab emirates cambodia india maldives that's it begins with a care it's so interrelated isn't it uh i can't remember has something to do with me making a k in this shape kuwait it's kuwait and then that is russia that is it's iran um that's saudi arabia oh man that's a lot of orange that is myanmar because it's my flag my um oh um something about braces or laces it's related to shoelaces but i can't work out what that connects to lithuania at least what is lathe was it laces laos no but that's what this one is that's louse isn't it because they all yes okay back to this one no it's not commenting we'll come back to it we'll come back to it that is syria because siri has two symbols that is georgia it's the one where he's given him a hug isn't it i think i can't remember why he's giving him a hug the the moon is giving the star a hug and i don't remember why i'll come back to it that is that's an island uh taiwan taiwan and then that is it begins with so tajikistan uh that is something related to an umbrella for some reason but i can't think why that's in my end is it just qatar qatar guitar what was that then i think we've done palestine already palestine yeah we have i'll come back to it i'll come back to it okay we've got south korea we have the one that's difficult to draw why is that difficult to draw what does that have to do with anything oh it's difficult to spell as well [Music] nepal look at me cool turkmen turkmenistan turkmenistan and then afghan hound afghanistan it's a really really good learning technique i'm not gonna lie i'm pretty gobsmacked that how many of them i remembered obviously i need to continue practicing so that they come naturally to me but this one i can't remember these are the three that i couldn't get why is he hugging me i can't remember it shall we give up i'm gonna give up the ones i did not get oh yemen i don't think i really made anything for yemen and azerbaijan because he's giving him a hug goodbye of course and then what was the other one that i missed it was thailand tying tying the laces right fair enough so i don't have a rule for yemen how do we do yemen i really just can't think of anything for yemen all right i'm gonna do it again because i've not yet got 49.49 without googling anything so we have got japan brunei we've got georgia uh laos yeah and then north korea kazakh stan iraq then we've got russia we've got to jekistan we've got mongolia oh yemen yeah then we've got united arab emirates oh it's the tying one thailand fantastic and then we've got indonesia cambodia and then oh the running iran and singapore and then lebanon palestine maldives and then uh pakistan india south korea sri lanka timor-leste saudi arabia it's an island taiwan qatar the guitar philippines there's uzbekistan difficult to spell here we go right i'm gonna get it first time okay you ready uh good yes i felt good about that one afghanistan vietnam bhutan china myanmar uh syria oh kuwait yep and then jordan uh oh man bangladesh something to do with men turkmenistan armenia bahrain israel um malaysia turkey love a freebie oh hugging hugging hugging saying goodbye and then nepal is our final one what is it like to be perfect oh well there we have it so we can now name all 49 flags in asia in three minutes two seconds i'll take it to be fair so that learning technique clearly works with me and i'm sure it would work with a lot of you as well if you're trying to learn something new but at the same time i'm aware that everybody's different and coming up with like a random thing in your brain might not work for everybody but it works for me at least so that's good right well i guess next time i'll probably do south america and north america and i'll leave africa till last because that's probably going to be the hardest of them all because very very similar
