CAN AM XMR 1000 PICK UP FROM THE DEALER!!!

so right Pete sales and service we're here to get our new XMR now a lot of you Polaris guys are gonna be pretty upset because we have a pretty big Polaris following I understand yes but you know what it's time to mix things up a little bit we're gonna be getting into the ATV end of things a little bit more seriously now so we're gonna sort of play around with things we're gonna try it one of these km is a lot of people recommend a master cruise that recommends them and it's our turn to give them a try so let's go get one how you doing good I have a t-shirt for somebody whoa that's for you I'm odd gave us that he's a power mods fan Wow so this is the 1000 Outlander XMR nice receiver hitch we're gonna go over this whole thing we're gonna do a complete review on it and you know do all the stuff that we usually do right and then we're probably gonna start modding it a little bit and I have somebody who's gonna go through with you that knows the product more than me okay excellent that's excellent but you need you need this I need that yeah so if you want to get that out of the way okay there's always this person hold on does it start first how do you start this thing switch yep that I dunno so that's off and that's on and then okay we'll take it so we're going over this customer delivery report with Chuck and Chuck I have some issues with this can you go back to the very first part of this there's a break in period apparently even wrote it down page 105 makes things very easy for me it says during the break-in period avoid full throttle operation maximum throttle should not exceed three-quarters that's for the first 300 kilometers three quarters what's throttle Lakes off when you press the throttle all the way in is full throttle correct and out a little bit as three quarters dance correct all right [Laughter] for the first 300 kilometres you're supposed to take it easy 300 kilometers so the first 50 kilometers take it easy on the belt if you take it easy on the belt you're gonna get maximum about life you think so [Music] okay all right very good I'm sure we can work within those parameters all right not a problem what else do I need to know Chuck we want to see it back for at least its first service yeah that way we can check it over make sure you're operating it properly and not abusing it okay there's something I'm sure in the computer that says it is it video is there a video footage as well that's recorded on that keep it out of the water even though it's an XM are you keep it out of the water you're gonna want to keep it out of like going right over the handlebars yeah well yeah we have some snorkels coming for good some other stuff all right right on John here okay put it in the waterproof bag I'm just in case it rains all right so I'm looking at the tires and needs bigger tires I don't know I think so okay so this is a little box I like to have these come on the marx's they can be relocated the reason they have this is whenever on the Moxa's they take off the rear seat this fills all right to make a nice and clean so you can unlatch it just there's a lock system right there yeah relocate it to the rear plus if it doesn't have the rod relocate it you can actually put these on the front too so I keep my ownership in here pair of goggles pair of gloves just easy access to get out things that mine's been excellent for me removing the seat there's a lots at the back here so brake fluid the biggest thing for like new customers that's something that you want want to keep really clean so I know that you guys have a different experience than what new customers yep yeah but whenever you're taking these caps off you don't want to get any fluid dripping down its gonna remove the paint yeah and otherwise keeping them clean something like that like you shouldn't have an issue whenever your brake pads do wear down of course the fluid does go down but whenever you replace the brake pads if you don't want to take these off so there's a fluid can come back into it Gauss pack battery so it's okay for it to be on its side in the off season if you're not going to be using it either take it out or the best thing actually to be doing this starting these off every three weeks getting at your air filter so just like this and that's a fully changeable cartridge do you have to oil that no there's no filter oil no okay easy enough and your overflow coolant bottle is actually just underneath here so you take this off and that's where you got to your overflow bottle okay it's pink kinda for use which is long life antifreeze which is good for five years okay these two keys so this is performance key so whenever you put this key on and you wake up the - same as the sea-doo system you can actually wake it up with the key off and so it will come alive and then whenever you put this on it's going to say performance key it's got my name on it like that that's a performance piece okay and then whenever you take that off to called an RFP can-am and skidoo came up with out a few years ago this key limits it to 40 kilometers or 70 kilometers an hour we can actually change that so that's a learner key so generally we do put them 270 kilometers oh my son's gonna hate that okay more if you're gonna kind of for the rental business or if you're gonna be learning to somebody that's the key that you want to give them he Lee's gonna hate that and then you've got your headlights high-low and off and your kill switch and dynamic person you hold up you can change your cover story settings with Panem so you've got low medium and high all's you have to do is this button has a couple of features so the first one it does is the pirates earring so you go from low to medium and then press it again you give to high so usually whenever I'm in a forest trail I would use it on Macs or if I'm gonna be on the road I'll use it in medium and whenever you're backing up in Reverse the engine will start to misfire it's a safety feature if you want to backup masters and then the safety feature then you just hold the button in so that does two features nice and then you've got your winch control in a note four wheel drive in the book it does say to stop before going in or out a four-wheel drive you also want to completely stop before going from high range to low range yep and second engine oil is done over here ok so what I do is start the engine warm it right up let it then shut it off let it sit for two or three minutes and then check your engine oil because on some vehicles whenever you're gonna check it cold it's actually gonna be down near the at exactly yeah you don't want to start it right up this is removable a cover on here we just remove those two latches you can take it off for extra cleaning nice to have the ride up there of course because it keeps it out of the mud yeah you'll want to keep that the rat fins clean so clean them up with water yeah you don't want them getting kicked up with mud your winch you can put it into neutral just by releasing this lever yes I can actually put your cable in neutral and pull it out and then you put it back in to engage mode to be able to retract it big thing is whenever you're putting your winch cable back in keep your fingers new people do is make sure that you're keeping tension on it cuz you'll want to school you okay you're able back on if you don't there's a chance that your cable could wind up inside and then it can do some damage inside sometimes they will have to cut the cable to get it out so yeah whenever you're putting it back in keep some tension on it so either you know you're gonna tie it to the tree and bring the ATV towards it or have somebody hold up yeah I'm going to put a synthetic cable on yeah yeah I'll change things around a little bit very cool this your first cat MATV I think it is yeah it is what are you usually yeah all we just have beaters yeah yeah I have a older kawasaki brute force coming well I've I've had razors and you know stuff like that got some old Honda's and whatnot but yeah we're sort of changing things up a little bit I'm probably going to get a high lifter as well yep and then you know yep see what can pull the other one and do all that kind of stuff have to watch that whenever you do close this some people have noticed they just leave it like that there's a chance it could fall down and we'll melt that so you whenever you do close it want to make sure that you give it a good hard close I am yeah I like it thanks very much Chuck I really appreciate well let's load this baby up and see what it how it works and it's not let me try this thing out we'll see if it starts another thing that I do with my own a TV so whenever I'm in gear so if you want to start it up you can either step on if it's in gear you can actually step on your brake to get it to start so just put it in high and just move forward a little bit and then so pull up and stop and use your handbrake now what all you do on my own ATV is I try and shift it if it shifts easy not shift it easy if it doesn't shift easy release the brake if it still doesn't shift easy use your body weight to rock it back okay I'll caching that's just a little you've kind of figured that if it avoid you from family bending that don't throw them what the same there alright got Jeff man here so this is called mode and set so you're set but you've got trippy you can zero it down trippy somebody's been driving this truck is 1.4 kilometers nothing that's all good yeah so you're our meter we can actually it does keep track of full engine hours you've got an hour meter that's a trip meter there so that if you want to measure how far you're going or what you've done on it so far and then your time fuel fearful of supreme fuel right now - also I got to run high test in this I do get my own so you can with this mode and then set you can actually change that to either read kilometers or your rpm and then I can actually make you can customize it to what you want can we run jet fuel in a Chuck no not with the current don't let the latest a moment oh my god steer so easy so I I like this the brakes work I don't think I've ever had any TV where the brakes work let's load her up Simon I think we're only going to be able to get one of these on the slide deck you think it'll climb in right
