hi everyone welcome back today we're going on a food tour of camden market in london so over the next two days we'll be trying out loads of meat and veggie options there will be sweets and savory bits that we're going to try and review give you all the prices tell you what places are best so let's get straight into it so first stop was funky chips we got regular chips with melted cheese and a garlic herb sauce that all came to five pounds the chips were hand cut really nice and crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle the sauce was strong with oregano which i loved but after a while it did get a bit samey say me and i just wish i got a few more sauces to mix things up overall seven out of ten not bad next stop was hansel and gretel inside this place is absolutely magical we went for the fantasy card and we also got a pick a mix bag which was lovely there's halal and vegan options which are clearly labeled i thought that was really good but it is pick and mix so nothing you know spectacular or groundbreaking the fantasy cone was actually quite theatrical and really fun you can see here the guy is making candy floss and that's going to be wrapped around your waffle cone you get to pick your flavor of gelato and then he sprinkles some kind of blue syrup i want to say on top of the candy floss and then sprinkles loads of pickle mix this was really fun absolutely loved it so it's a solid eight and a half out of ten then we made our way over to the sizzling skewer we got a regular box and this came with a whole host of stuff i've listed them in the caption here i have to say i'm really disappointed burnt chewy bland just not great on a positive note the place next door did do some really good vegetable spring rolls 10 pieces for three pounds thought that was really good value especially for camden market yeah really good then we had a little bit of a walk around and finally picked babaji's chicken tikka burger now this promised a lot but unfortunately it didn't quite hit the spot there's no denying though that the chicken was really really juicy very very nicely done i just felt like it needed a bit more punch some more spice you know i'm a spicy kind of girl i need that chilli the brioche bun was really nice all the bits inside the mango chutney etc was really good just need a bit more spice seven out of ten next we went to hot pot and we got a big bowl of their bang bang chicken the chicken was coated in like a crispy pan curry breadcrumb type situation slightly spiced not too much then they had this chili oil on the side coriander spring onion soy sauce sweet chili of course i went for all of the toppings i really liked how customizable this was with all the toppings you can really adapt it to suit your own taste buds i had a couple bites at the market but then took the rest home to try and microwave these and they stayed crispy and juicy solid 8 out of 10 from me next it was time we had something sweet to eat so we found this cute little donut stand and we grabbed a pistachio and nutella donut look at the size of this thing absolutely massive so yeah we took this home and tried it out unfortunately it was another fail for me and actually everyone else as well it was really huge very dry odd texture sickly sweet just not great now back at the market the final stop for day one was bubble station i mean we couldn't leave without trying a bubble tea could we so i went for the honeydew bubble tea with strawberry boba i have to say this probably was worth the hype it was quite good maybe a little bit overpriced um but then again i i say that to all kind of drinks starbucks costa whatever i think it's a waste of money but yeah this was pretty good probably wouldn't um make it a regular thing but yeah that's the end of day one right we're starting day two off at camden market with this huge vegetable bowel bun you could get this with noodles or rice and that will come to eight pounds but we decided to go for the bow bun only it's steamy pipey hot look at that the barber was lovely light and fluffy as it should be look at the texture of that bow perfect the filling also very good vegetables will cook nicely still had a bite to them the only regret for me was not getting the dipping sauces that they had on the side but other than that solid seven and a half out of ten then we made our way over to kolkatti street and we got their paneer roll so that's a roti whisked egg paneer green chili coriander lime some other salad bits and their homemade sauces i went over to the side so i can watch the vendors prepare my food that's one of my favorite things about street food is getting to watch how they prepare your food as you watch in anticipation so i'm going to leave you to relax and watch the show um okay so first impressions the colors were amazing the smells were even better i absolutely love this i wasn't expecting to like it so much i thought the chicken might be a bit nicer but the paneer was defined that roti was flaky she put a good amount of green chilies in there for us so we absolutely love this it was fresh fragrant tasty solid 10 out of 10 from us then we made our way over to this vietnamese street food place and we like the look of their vegetable salad bowl so that came with rice noodles fried tofu vegetable spring rolls crunchy salad fried onions lots of herbs like coriander and mint there was lime and fresh chilies as well and like a soy fish sauce type dressing straight off the bat we thought this looked really spicy colorful and very appetizing especially for a salad so i went straight in for the tofu and actually i was quite pleasantly surprised i'm not normally a fan of tofu actually i'm never a fan of tofu but if it tastes like this i am willing to explore tofu a little bit more further i think we thought the noodles were really nice all the vegetables were really good the herbs really came through the mint and coriander lovely combination fried onions added a lovely texture yeah really good salad bowl then we were really in the mood to try a vegan option so we stopped over at the burger and got their satan burger that came to eight pounds so we have a charcoal bun i'm not really a fan of charcoal anything i think it's a bit of a gimmick but anyway he lays it up with some chipotle mayo red onion some pickles tomato i forgot to tell him to leave it out i don't really like fat tomatoes in my burgers but there we have it he put it on anyway some lettuce and then he puts on the satan so i'm not too sure what i was expecting from this burger but it definitely wasn't anything good i thought it was gonna be quite um revolting actually to be honest so yeah i got into the burger first impressions they looked pretty good to be honest except for the bun i thought the bun is hideous now no one's gonna be more shocked than i was at how much i like this burger it was so good i didn't miss the meat all the chicken solid 10 out of 10. i definitely want to come back and try more of their burgers so while i had my mouth full of vegan burger i noticed a guy walked past with the most amazing looking tacos so yeah you guessed it we got in line for this mexican grill and we actually ended up going for their vegetable quesadillas and boy oh boy i don't want to slate this too much but it was so bad like so so bad who puts butter beans in a quesadilla please answer me that it was sloppy the cheese wasn't melted properly it was bland like where was the salt the onion's really nice so the only good thing that i had to say about this was the onions really nice i mean complete fell i'm sorry this was a complete fell two and a half out of ten and to wrap up our camden food tour we came over to churros and we went for their classic cinnamon and sugar churros and we got their hot chocolate hot spanish chocolate i should say they also do these really cool giant churros which are hollow in the middle and then they fill them with loads of nutella as you just saw there but today we just fancied the classic churros i just love watching these fries so i'm gonna let you relax and enjoy the show thank you okay so for four teardrops plus the spanish hot chocolate that came to six pounds i thought that was well worth the price that chocolate was so good not too sweet perfectly balanced with the cinnamon sugar coated churros honestly this was my idea of food heaven i could quite easily have devoured all four of these by myself but obviously i wanted to share them with everyone else we all loved them so i highly recommend these if you're in the mood for a good churros place well worth the six pounds highly recommend 10 out of 10 from me and everyone else so that pretty much concludes our two-day tour of camden market i hope you guys enjoyed and if you made it this far into the video thank you so much please leave a comment below and let me know what was your favorite food item that we tried or have you already been to camden market if so let me know what's your favorite and i'll definitely go back and try some of your recommendations out so thanks again for watching guys don't forget to like comment and
