You know, a few days back, I was just checking my bills, one bill kept coming again and again, those were the coffee bills. Frappuccino, cappuccino, cafe au lait, espresso, either I ordered it or had it at a cafe. And this coffee culture that is there where people tend to go out for a coffee has become crazy, or everyone loves to do it let me put it this way. And if this coffee is made at home then won’t that be a thing? So let’s start with cold coffee, in goes milk, in this I’ll add instant coffee powder. If you have a filter coffee setup at home and you can make the brew coffee shot, that can be added or a shot of espresso can be added too. Now I’m adding one scoop of vanilla ice cream to it. Vanilla ice cream is optional, I’m adding some cinnamon powder. Add a dash of vanilla, I’m adding some sugar to taste, and now we will grind it. The trick to making a great cold coffee is in the mixing. If you grind it for some seconds, it will be ready. But When you churn it properly, it will be light and fluffy just like you find it in your coffee shop. Let’s grind it. Perfect. What a fragrance . Now we will make a mocha Frappuccino. Mocha Frappuccino is very popular and we need a lot of ice to make it. In the ice I’ll add some milk and on top I’ll add some chocolate sauce. This is coffee powder, some vanilla extract, sugar, now we will blend it . Remember while blending it, the ice should completely be grinded,and that grainy ice should come in the mouth. Let’s start this Perfect, this is ready, Now we will take some of our chocolate sauce, with which we will line the glass. Fantastic . Now our Frappuccino goes right in, Let’s make caramel Frappuccino. To make caramel Frappuccino we have to make the caramel sauce first. Which is very easy. Heat up the pan and add sugar to it. In this I’ll add a dash of water and a dash of lemon juice. The lemon juice helps to stop the sugars from forming crystals, which when you bite will be smooth and soft and easy to pour. Make sure you don’t use a spoon or a spatula at this stage as the spoon will be cold and will instantly freeze the sugar, thus causing uneven melting of the sugar . Look how I’m removing the colour to avoid colouring of the sugar and swirl it to get a gentle colour and you won’t get a burnt flavour. Look at this, we have got an evenly melted syrup, or evenly caramelised sugar. Be very careful. We will keep it here. Now the cream goes in and we have to whisk it. There you go. We will heat it again to remove any remaining crystals of sugar . Now we will add some butter to it. Butter will bring that saltiness to make it like a salted caramel and at the same time give it a shine and flow. Beautiful salted caramel sauce is ready and when it gets a little cold it will become thick. For the caramel Frappuccino and it’s garnish. Our caramel sauce is ready. Let’s make the caramel Frappuccino now. Firstly we’ll take lots of ice. Some milk, our caramel sauce, coffee and some vanilla, this vanilla gives a great backnote with coffee, when you drink coffee at home and coffee at the coffee shop, you don’t get the same taste. This is because of the secret ingredient vanilla, It’s like coffee and vanilla were made for each other. Now this is ready, alright let’s fill this up. And our 3 cold coffees, regular, mocha and caramel Frappuccino, done.
