a few months ago I was searching for a motorcycle on Google and here is what I found if we just search yamaha virago approximately half of the motorcycles shown by Google will be custom projects which means this is really a serious most wanted model for a cafe racer project just like two weeks ago I decided to present two different projects based on a similar motorcycle two different visions that will surely bring different opinions but I can assure you that even two different perspectives can leave a project to success welcome to race a TV the author of this project is someone who almost doesn't need an introduction non-jews owner of the very well-known jeans custom in Thailand as usual use projects have something more but that is not the reason why I chose today's project what is really interesting about this build is knowing that it is based on the Yamaha XV 1100 I know that you are going to say I've seen better and that is true if you pay attention most cafe racers made from the V rocker model where built with a monoshock version but this one is the version with two shock absorbers on the rear the main problem with this Virago is the frame and that is precisely why I like this project because it is based on a very difficult motorcycle for some reason that I don't know how to explain the yamaha virago is one of those motorcycles that I like to see with a monoshock suspension and as usual morons you've solved the equation he found a way to adapt to monoshock and eliminate most of the rear of the frame giving close to a new and small subframe for the seat the Benelli Majeed fuel tank is probably one of the most common choices for most viragor cafe racers but I also have to admit that it looks very good on it so if you never thought about using the Yamaha xB 1100 for a cafe racer project maybe this one will make you change your mind and if you are searching for something simpler then here it is you are not going to see amazing or refined photographs about it but there will be enough content to show how simple but clever change can make a huge difference this is the work of Luis Felipe Gonzales owner of endlich's custom garage located in Colombia I found this project on YouTube by accident and my immediate reaction was I have to see this there are tons of cafe racers based on the veer agro model but considering that this fuel tank is still the original I don't recall finding a similar project as sleek and proportional as this one it is one of those that really stands out from the crowd unlike the previous Yamaha this one is based on the V rocker XV 921 of the models with a monoshock whatta Luis did in this project is extremely clever he rotated the original fuel tank and created a very sleek seat which looks perfect for it and to modernize it a front suspension from a Suzuki GSXR 1000 so far nothing different from the usual but what is really smart is this line unlike most projects with Dorados this line is not horizontal and this tiny detail makes all the difference because it makes it look much more dynamic and modern than all others [Music] another clever idea is the front light besides being perfectly aligned with the fuel tank it is something unusual as you see this headlight looks much better than this one and believe it or not they are exactly the same new EADS decided to turn the rear cover upside down and it just worked brilliantly no one would say that this headlight came out from a suzuki en 125 and it is perfect for this project as you can see and considering the limitations with this build all the choices Lewis made were brilliant they really show how tiny and apparently insignificant detail can make all the difference thank you for watching racer TV and as always I hope to see you next week
