it bro I mean he put his heart into the music man so I I want to ask y'all a few questions about it man I start with you running like when did y'all know that that that he loved Music Man as a little show but he he he can something happened yeah and then he went to jail that night y i show hope he at home cuz I need him to be on the show 2022 early really you know what I'm saying so so that's your guy yeah he doing his thing though man I love when these [ __ ] be right so why so y'all never got into the music y'all just supported C strug no I just supported Ro yeah it how many brothers yeah three any sisters just one she passed away okay she passed away as well what did she pass away from um she was like a diabetic you know she was diabe different um health issues along years so you know like ponia and uh how old was she when she passed 29 man so how does that and I know cuz take it from a my my my uncle all my all my uncles are passed away except for one from my grand from my daddy's side um my my uh dadd had uh eight eight brothers and five sisters and there's only two left and my the youngest and the oldest and the oldest everybody between is gone and um I always wonder like dang man I went to so many different funerals over the years bro but when I would go you know it's like dang man it's my family and it made me think about my health I'm being real with y'all I mean most people don't want to be real you know what I'm saying it made me think about me and I'm like dang God you still got me here and I see [ __ ] that's my age that pass away and they be like dang I got to I don't know I I don't know why but God he has a way of showing you that there's a purpose and a place for your life right right so I just I just be thinking about that kind of stuff you know what I'm saying that that you still here and these guys didn't make it to be even your age and you like my mom didn't even make it to be my age so it's kind of like she passed away with cancer so it's like it makes you think bro it makes you think it makes you try to do that what eat different try to figure out some ways to make your life somewhat different but in in in reality um it is what it is everybody got to get out of here one day mhm period we all born D and that's what people don't really like to look at that that reality but I always tell people death don't have to be a bad thing it's bad to us because we don't understand the other side but if you believe like I believe then you read and you understand what you had it for so you have a little glimpse of what's on the other side but at the end of the day you have to have a strong faith and belief system in order to even tap into that world does that make sense most sense so I enjoy life every day like like Roy Lee say smile enjoy life every day enjoy life smile every day every day so how did how did he end up in Dallas and just the the way that the way that he Dallas embraced him and this where we group this where we grew up you know we from in Texas but okay we grew up in Dallas oakle mhm o CLE yeah Glenn Oak wow and and so that's where the that's where that that tenacity that that pull that drive come from yeah yeah so when did what made you when you when when you first started seeing him in the music what what made you realized hey this boy got something all right like when um I'm go back for a minute like when he first went to college you know he came home I picked him up from college you know I'm I was at the Trap or whatever you know and he was like big bro I wanted to listen to something so I was like U wait a minute you know what I'm saying um I'm put you in right quick and so I didn't put him in right then but later on down the line I dropped the CD in there and he went to doing something beast of the click a lot of more songs and so um you know I was in prison you know in and out of prison that lifestyle I live so I received a album cover from the um from one of my partners and he was like um look your bro on the radio and everything him and Rick Ross right now you know what I'm saying listen to it on the radio the street swag Sunday so I was like oh all right that's a bit so Sunday came and there it was and man I just broke down you know in in the middle of it all you know and I I had made parole at the same time and and felt like he made it right then you know wow so when you was when you was locked up uh uh you you used to you knew he was messing with the music right but you didn't know had stuck right no I didn't know he had like you know album after album you know mixtape after mixtape but never you know them big hitters you know what I'm saying and when I seen him with Rick Ross man it was just like a whole another level how did that happen I heard about it when it was going on I'm like how in the hell did Rick I know he was a big guy so Rick was a big guy and I was like maybe that's how what made him connect you know it was uh it was a Model A Instagram model from uh Instagram okay and U she put up a post trying to be funny like name this rapper know had my big brother uh to the chopper and so you know big guy they were like name this rapper they're trying to be funny yeah everybody laughing giggle like all right yeah yeah yeah yeah all right and uh Rick Ross seen it yeah yeah you know in the comments he seen it he said oh yeah they really go hate this Rick R Drugs record you know what I'm saying yeah yeah yeah got see you grinding big boy he said I'm going to come do something with you yeah that's God God that's favor yes see favor ain't Fair yeah right see favor make see it was a lot of [ __ ] that wanted to get a feature from Rick Ross oh yeah and and and I'm be honest with you for the way God will do it man he don't go by our standards and set rules man you feel me right like like it it'll push you up the line it don't matter DJ C might have wanted a verse that week it didn't matter God said no we going to put we GNA put DJ C gonna get his but we going we GNA put C struggs up there yeah you see what I'm saying fa ain't fair man that's dope though that's a dope story so how did he reach out to him called him he just called him yeah wow like send me your number I'mma call you about 15 minutes later and it called he called what did C strug say how did he react to it like like wow you like it messed him up yeah it messed him up he was like man you don't know how much it mean for you to call me I thought you know I thought you just you know what I'm saying playing playing around you know what I'm saying you you hit me right right up you know bro was there with the kids he called that would make know they would made him so happy he be there with his kids to get there get that call man they they seen that they seen that but you can't you can't make this up go ahead that's why sometimes you know always I always say our life is not our own so many people watch our lives and change because of it you know what I mean some people can look at that instance of how she was making fun of him and somebody else who didn't even comment but saw that and felt you know a certain way because of it because they might be in that same situation being bullied in a certain way but then see how something good came out of it that could have motivated that person as well so a lot of times you know when we live our lives and we might be affected badly by something but people are watching you constantly and watching to see how you react how you overcome that's why another reason why we love this platform so much because a lot of people are stuck on YouTube on their phones all the time and going through situations we all are human being everybody goes through something and when you're going through things you think you're the only one who's going through it nobody else will ever understand what you're going through no matter what you're going through but to actually have people come on the platform and say certain things about things that they've been through and how they overcame it and then that could actually help someone who is listening you know what I mean I agree 100% yeah we was going through something during their time you know right before that uh rest in peace my nephew uh Tory strug Tito you know SE strug son he had to drowned in accident in 2014 I've seen that and so you know we was trying to put everything together you know and make it past this moment and get somewhere else and then you know God just rewarded you know wow and and it's crazy how how it happened so how he was how 14 how old was it six six he he was six this happened in 2014 in 2014 and he he basically uh that how did that affect C strug which is something we know it was ter horrific hard it knocked the fight out of him for a few weeks months but after that he came harder than ever he was like Hey this it ain't no looking back you know man and he gave him the motivation he needed to get where he needed to be at you would you say that that was the most difficult thing he had to face in his life yes yes yes yes going through his own medical condition at that time and then going through that too oh man it made him a monster in the studio people don't understand how depression can take a toll on your body as well you know what not only mentally but physically you know what I mean yeah I know so he ended up having cancer right yes yes and um I seen him on his last interview um but I seen that video with sm's the one you took him down there to do and I was in the room with him and and he was on there and one thing that stuck out to me about him was the way that he didn't he didn't he just let it all left it all out there on the any anything he was doing the music he didn't he wasn't he wasn't he didn't hide nothing he didn't hide nothing he they asked him about his eye he told him how he felt about iin checking it or whatever was that a part of the council that was making that happen you think um yeah it might have been you see what I'm saying I remember he said it was some on that last interview was some tumors and some stuff that was affective yeah he was dealing with a lot of stuff but he was like um this music going to come first before anything even when that was going on yeah the music yeah he like I had to get this out what was the last thing that he was trying to get out that he had to get out and he got it done why not hustle to yeah why not hustle why I heard him speak on that yes why not hustle too he was like I got to get this one out man right this during the time he was going back and forth Cho different things you know and right before his surgery and he said I got to get this thing out before my surgery is it because he felt like he needed to leave a legacy for his kids or why is that yes most definitely yeah and he knew his you know he came to realization that his time might have been coming you know to he he he he did he speak about it um he wrote a song about it I can feel it I can feel it yes and he knew yes knew wow man that's that's a deep story and um I've never been put in a situation but I've heard people say it a lot so when people are going through things where they they know what is about to come does that help prepare you as a loved one to expect that as well like to prepare you for that um for me yeah for me it did like I just know if he was comfortable and it set in for him I was comfortable and i' be there strong for his boys yeah you know but it was tough thing to prepare for yeah but I knew it was coming so I had to be strong for his boys or his boys yeah that's what kept you going that was his everything his boys his boys yeah I could I could only imagine mhm um so um you you I know you keep in touch with them and oh yes you got to spend time with them and they bring they come down and what all that good stuff come down he have them all the time man I love it man you have boys for yourself guys oh no no kids see smiling down so they're your kids too they my kids you don't need nothing now you got here I got a lot of nieces neews that's real man yeah yeah man I mean you know uh y'all got to bring them by here when you do get them we got to bless them bro yeah we already was in there I told you about our situation we ain't going to go into it but um whenever you get them and y'all riding around man just call me please yeah all right and we going to rock out okay that's how I do it man I'm go back and look at some of my episodes I just rock out man cuz I know already if I do it now I a liquor store in um Heights over there and um him and E40 was chopping it up and E40 was like hey we need to go and do this you know and so one thing led to another you know and it's you know the type of music he wrote you know life story for life story it's real you can feel it you know but the thing is he did things that people that's in the Dallas Fort Worth area that got hot as they could get never done yeah bro think about that for a second bro so talented he did a song with a group for Mexico what danc no English he wrapped in Spanish I remember that Spanish it's like they had a translator okay and all he knew what they want the song to be about they like party that's it and he went in he went in damn that's dope bro like like that's those are stories that you can hold on to right right do you see any of his kids wanting to rap no boy just kid right now yeah they ain't trying to rap you know they in the kids of the games that's all that they play Sports One play basketball One play football yeah yeah they doing that when I talked to are they good yeah they good that's good so do you go ahead now don't get me wrong like when one of his songs come on to something they'll go word for word with it they they going rock with just like he did when he was young you know yeah yeah they going they going to rock out with him yeah man that's dope man so when what what has been the hardest time like have the kids ever came to you and be like hey man about they de since this since these years have passed by yeah they can't it can't they'll come and talk to you about it yeah y'all get P y'all like hey man you know yeah we'll talk about it cuz how many years apart was y'all uh we did nine months apart see what I'm saying so you knew every single thing yes everything that was going on with him you could speak on it so that's a blessing man for them kids that had in that ahead you about to say something just we built that Bond you know the the kids so they tell me everything they're in school they'll call and tell me what they going through what's happening I I tell them the right thing to do this where I know how you know what I'm saying I be there for their mama you know she she call me out the blue every other day I bet y'all used to be fighting you and there your brother man man 9 months a hey these was my first kids tell everybody months aart mon man I had a lot of brother Wars man yeah and y'all fought other folks oh yeah oh fight each other and fight other folks he get mad yeah how much older are you than they are oh that's big brother oh yeah I was 10 when they was born so okay 10 years man that's dope man I tell you man did the kids have to go through counseling or anything like that I really just talk to them talk to him they got him yeah they got they got onks yeah yeah I think that matters they call me from time to time but I'm like the just like always on the go you know yeah yeah yeah I started from scratch when I got out so I'm you know I was trying to get my years back at the same time when bro passed away I I ain't going to lie I kind of lost my mind you know for a minute yeah how long you him a lot yes I was I was taking him everywhere you know yeah um to the different shows and stuff you know I was actually you know right there with him and a couple of Clone free members also know shout out to tank you know spiffy you know plug you know all of them you know ATM love shout out to yeah those are guys who these are guys that still talk holl love ATM my Bo so these guys going still reach out and say hey man how you guys doing is his mom still Liv oh yes her mom's still living so how did she handle um losing him she she took it hard yeah she did she took it hard you know after losing you know her nephew her grandson and then you know my brother and then you know uh her son and then you know um she lost another brother our uncle so you know she been through some things and her aunt so you know she like brother and her sister they all right after each other right after each other and man we but but like I said I've been through that so I get it and uh far as just the losing the close loved ones and just it it it takes a toll on you but like I said man um God got you here for a reason for them boys and you know what I mean for for for your mom and so therefore you have to stand strong right right you have to stand strong to man when we here celebrating man SE strug birthday today man it's going down man um my wife we want to present you guys with a just a plaque that
