Surely you have seen light versions of Windows recommended for older computers with limited resources but perhaps you do not feel comfortable installing them since they are not official from Microsoft and you distrust their creators. What would you think if I told you that you can create your own personalized version of Windows 11. To carry out this task we will use an incredible and free tool that allows you to customize Windows, with it you can eliminate unnecessary components, integrate updates, drivers and applications, adjust settings and much more. With NTLyte you can create a version of Windows 11 that is lighter, faster, safer and completely adapted to your needs and preferences. Below I will show you the detailed steps so you can create your own personalized Windows 11. Let's search in our favorite browser for NTLite. We will surely see ntlite.com in the first search. It is very important to download the tool from the official website. There are several tools similar to this, such as Win Toolkit, but in my opinion NTLite is one of the best. more complete, with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Let's go to the Download NTLite tab, it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. This time we are going to download the 64-bit version, we will do it on the desktop, save... now we will open another tab in the browser and look for Windows 11 ISO, we enter the microsoft.com page and here we are going to download the image Windows 11 multi-edition disk, that is, those that contain all versions of Windows 11, download... we choose a language confirm... click on 64-bit, download to desktop. While Windows 11 is downloading, we are going to install NTLite, for this we right click with the mouse and run as administrator, we accept the agreement, next... finish. When opening the program, we have the option to use it unlimitedly in its non-commercial version, we can also acquire a license and then enter it to access the premium version, in our case we will use the free version, we click accept and wait for it to Complete the download of the Windows 11 ISO file. Ready, we can now incorporate the ISO into the program, we click on add ISO image, we search for it on the Open desktop, if all versions of Windows do not appear you can click on this bullet and they are going to deploy. We choose the most complete version of all Windows 11 Pro, right click and choose load, the loading of the ISO will begin. As soon as this circle turns green it means that it is ready, on the left side of the screen we can see a menu which is made up of image, integrate, delete, configure and final. In the home section we will find the image tab which we have already finished loading, then in the integrate section we find the updates tab here we click on add and select latest online updates, this will show us the latest available updates including the security, cumulative and others By clicking on the queue these updates will be added later to the USB drive that we are creating Now let's go to the drivers tab, here I do not recommend that you install anything, today Windows 11 has an extensive library of drivers and it is very likely that it will install them all automatically, however, if you need a specific driver that has not been installed, you can find it on the manufacturer's website. Regarding registration, you can add entries to further customize the operating system. These entries are usually available on specialized websites. However, in this video we will focus exclusively on the use of the tool. In post-installation we can also add programs and other functions, we will see this later in another video as it is a much more advanced topic. Now let's move on to the elimination section and start with the components, a warning appears that we must be extremely cautious when eliminating components, since once we have created the image and installed it on the computer, we will not be able to add these components later, accept. From here it is important that you pay close attention and Follow the procedures that I am going to indicate step by step. We start with Apps, we will click on the bullet or arrow that is right on the right side, then we will uncheck the checkmark in the Apps box and a message will appear indicating that the Microsoft Edge client and the Windows reader will be eliminated PDF, let's now uncheck the All box and then click Yes We repeat the procedure with Windows PushToInstall Service, uncheck everything and then Yes Now the same with the security center... as you can see, the vast majority of the components. Now we will go to localization, then we look for Language below and uncheck the box, in this way all the languages will be eliminated except for Spanish and the pseudo-local that is used to test the localization of the applications. We continue with Desktop We are going to Accent the color of Windows, we click on the first option and then on the right side we go to the button where a color palette will be displayed. I will do it with a combination of blue colors, from dark to light. Now we go to Explorer or File Explorer we disable Clear history of recently opened documents on exit, CD burning features, nowadays very few use a CD or DVD reader start menu, we disable the power button - hibernate and button power on - suspend, that is, they will not appear in the start menu when you want to turn off or restart the computer. We are going to deactivate the downloads, home group, music and network folders. Deactivate allowing telemetry Allow location services... and that's it Here we continue with the system, we start by deactivating animation in the first session In Microsoft account we select users cannot add Microsoft One Drive accounts you can also deactivate it if you do not plan to use it Deactivate the TPM, which is a very annoying feature of Windows 11 that does not allow its installation if it does not meet certain hardware requirements in Windows Defender we will not touch anything, I think it is a good antivirus but if you want you can deactivate it and later install another antivirus and We will also leave Windows Update activated unless you want to continue receiving updates on your computer, but I do not recommend this. In services we will find many, these run in the background and perform various functions, many of them unnecessary, therefore, we are going to try to disable the best known ones, to be able to locate them much easier, we are going to use the search engine that is found at the top, for example, we write "queue" and a print queue appears. If you do not use a printer or only use it occasionally, you can deactivate this service. We now write "insider" Microsoft Insider service, if you are not going to be part of the Windows Insider program that allows you to test Beta versions of Windows, deactivate it. Skip the page and quick privacy options, True Computer name enter the name you prefer User interface language Spanish Send report to Microsoft... we are going to choose the option False Skip the EULA page, True. And finally, apply, save the image and trim the edits and remove non-essential edits, we make sure they are all checked except for Windows 11 Pro. Here you can see all the changes that are going to be applied Now click on create ISO, we will place a name and something very important is that the name cannot contain spaces, place underscores just as I am doing, otherwise, Ventoy, the program that we are going to use to copy the ISO file, will not recognize it. Save we put any name, accept. At the top left we click on process The download of Windows updates begins, we are going to speed up the video... this message will appear several times if you have the free version so don't worry, it is not an error, then It will perform configurations, deactivations, remove components, it will also remove non-essential editions of Windows, and finally, it will create our Windows 11 ISO... completed... accept. Here we see the ISO file modified by us and that we are going to install on another computer right now, we close NTLite. We go to the browser and we will look for the best tool that currently exists to create bootable pendrives, it is Ventoy, we download it from ventoy.net, we locate the Download tab We select the version for Windows and here below click on the ventoy windows.zip file, download in desktop, save We can now close the browser. The Ventoy folder is already compressed, so you will need WinZip, 7-Zip or WinRAR to unzip it. Right click the mouse on the folder and then extract everything We will open the folder and look for the executable file Ventoy2Disk.exe The program opens and already recognizes the USB drive that had been previously inserted. If you haven't inserted it yet, you can do it now and then click on the update button and it will appear. This super simple tool unlike others such as Rufus, WinToFlash, YUMI, EasyToBoot, among others. The only thing we will do is click on Install, then we will type the word Yes to confirm It warns us that all the contents of the pendrive will be permanently deleted Yes, yes again. We copy the ISO file into the pendrive and wait. The time will depend on the speed of the pendrive, in USB 2.0 devices it may take longer, while in pendrives 3.0 onwards it will be much faster. Ventoy has created this pendrive as a bootable device that can be used on computers with a BIOS system, that is, old computers and UEFI systems, modern computers. The copy is finished, now we are going to try this new lightweight Windows on another computer. First we insert the pendrive into the computer and turn it on, we immediately press the corresponding key to enter the BIOS. In my case I use the Delete key, but keep in mind that on your PC or Laptop it could be different, such as F2, F10 or Esc. Once inside the BIOS, we are going to configure the boot order, making sure that the USB memory is the first boot option, then to save the changes we press the F10 key, this will cause the computer to restart. Once the system is restarted, the Ventoy program from where we can select the ISO with which we want to start the installation. In this case we have copied a single ISO, but if the pendrive had a larger capacity we could add as many as we wanted, the only limit would be the capacity of the pendrive. We select the boot process in normal mode. Here we are going to delete all the previous partitions on this disk, since it previously had another operating system installed, it is important to keep in mind that by doing this all the stored information will be permanently deleted, in my case case, I have no important data on this disk. We continue deleting partitions until a single unallocated space remains We click next and the file copying and all other operations begin During the process, the computer will reboot several times while checking for updates This means that this lightweight, custom operating system that we have created can be installed on quite old computers without having to modify the pendrive. Furthermore, since we have eliminated the TPM restriction, it is ideal for these computers since we will not have any problems. It's also perfect for modern high-performance PCs, as Windows startup, performance, and shutdown times will be impressive. And voila, as easy as you could see, it was not necessary to enter the name, license, configure the internet connection, language, regional configuration, preferences, etc. None of that, and the best of all is that it is extremely minimalist, simple and fast. To check the performance, we simply press the CTRL+SHIFT+ESC key settings and we can observe the low cpu and memory consumption, as well as the reduced number of processes and their running processes. Now we open Microsoft Edge and make some quick adjustments to be able to access the website from which we will download essential programs for our equipment. We will enter ninite.com and select the programs we want to install. Then we will click on Get Your Ninite. Once the installer download is complete, we run it and wait for all the applications to be installed. Afterwards, we can go to Windows update to download the necessary drivers, this way we will have our computer ready but there is no pending update. We go to the device manager and we can see that no drivers are missing. Ninite has already finished installing the programs, we can turn off the computer... and you can see that the hibernate and suspend options are not there.
