Busting A Pond Dam

here's my newest little project we're going to be doing regards we're going to be draining this pond we put in over we actually cleared out this little old farm pond that was leaking it was all grown up and everything and we put a new overflow in it we thought it was the old overflowed it was leaking but we sealed it and it filled up but it's still leaking back down and it's the owner put a bunch of Honda in here to kind of see if he could see where it was coming out but it's just not wet in the woods or anything by the dam so it's got to be leaking through the bottom so we're going to drain it down and get this thing dry and coming here and dredge it out and we're probably going to end up lining the whole thing with a bentonite and maybe seal the bottom so that the water will not leak through it because he fills a nice house up here and he would prefer to have a nice pond I'm gonna dig a ditch to the dam there's probably only a foot of water left out there and get all this water out of here and let it drain down and dry out we can get in here work I've gotten through the dam taking me about 45 minutes to get cut through their tiles dried their dust over here and kind of cutting the water back as they go now I got to carry it on through the woods to get bald that there is hard as a break it's why the trench is no wider than it has to be if it's not going to go anywhere let me fall intention away and get this water to drain and hope we'll have a nice little River here in a minute you quick [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] all right it's time for the moment of truth get my dish go down to the woods let's see what happens with if I do this to hold the camera yeah see if I can get another tube out real quick how hard to do it's blowing definitely got a little it right here Oh sir thank you that dugout I've got it goodness there we go how we gotta fooled it and tipping over that'll dry now through the woods and filter out a little bit clearer in about 30 more seconds bring on out I don't know where it goes a long ways forgets anything little filter out my sand claim through the woods there that I was granted on down pretty good oh yeah good blow about a minute later it started going down a little bit waters cleared up it's the same color as the pond that green color going on awfully the woods like it's going to drain good we already bought it down later ten inches but here in brain
