Building My DREAM ROOM Setup - Crazy Transformation

all thanks to you guys now this was my brother's room but we decided to change rooms I took his room and he moved downstairs and my room is gonna be my dad's office so we finished downstairs first so you can move down and I just want to show you guys that before and after photos it just looks amazing the first thing I done was remove these ugly mm lines these blinds look hideous it just looks old school it just doesn't look well and we also patched out any holes and cracks revising the walls I removed these rusted heat covers boards and they decided to just upgrade to something more modern it just it looks disgusting i primed out the walls with this kills paint to just kill off that eggshell cream color so we can have a true gray color spoiler the color is gonna be great and I just gotta say thank you guys so much for voting I really do appreciate that ripping off the carpet wasn't as difficult than I thought I thought was gonna be a pain because all of the juice my brother spilled in the room because I figured the carpet and the juice stick together but it was smooth sailing [Music] I decided to go in an accent wall which is gonna be cityscape with gray matters it kind of gives it a monochromatic look so all three sides of the wall is gonna be great matters which is a lighter gray a shade lighter compared to the cityscape and one side is going to be city scape which is the darker color but closet wall color is gonna be white but it's gonna have accent of cityscape now shopping around for floors was a little tricky for me because I wanted to find a good color but also I want to maintain it good to good maintenance so I went to my local low store to look around for some laminate floors and I found the one all right that's eight floors [Music] installation was pretty straightforward it's just literally snap and go knock them a couple of times and you gotta be good to go it looks fantastic it looks beautiful with the gray and it's a lighter color so you're not gonna be able to see anything on the floor unless it's like really dark remember that old rusted he covered we talked about earlier I decide to go with base borders and I gotta tell you guys this looks super duper clean [Music] installation was one-two-three done no screws no tools required just snap it and you go just like looking at the design seen the old holes it just looks so it looks like it's from Apple but when is winter time again when is cold out this is gonna be a lot more better because you're gonna have more heat more holes more heat I'm happy I went to white but they do offer in grey and black so everything is set up the moldings are set up the blinds are set up the floor is done everything is good to go now we onto the desk shout out to otama nice for sending the l-shaped desk this is my favorite it's a motorized standing desk and it's just simply amazed I'm coming from no Desa at all normally I was either editing videos on my bed or on the floor which is definitely unhealthy this is just a game changer for me installation was simple you might need some assistance because the top is a little heavy but other than that installation is very down below [Music] now my favorite part about moving into the studio is just upgrading the tech kids today nominal dissidents I decided to buy this 38 inch LG ultra wide curved monitor and it's just simply amazing it just simply pops this monitor is excellent for video editors because you can see more on your screen you see more of your timeline now although it's not Retina quality it gets the job done the monitor is fairly sharp and fairly colour accurate too as well I have enough space for multitasking and honestly it feels like a dual monitor setup without having a bezel in the middle now I wanted to pop out my desk set up even more by installing some RGB LED light strips now these are the life XZ strips from life x these are the brightest light strips that you can buy it also works with amazon alec's apple homekit and also works with google home assistant and also actually would help watch a workflow because you have light in the background so you can see your keyboard and also reduce eyestrain i remove the mount that came with LG and decide to go with a full motion desk mount so you have more space underneath you have excellent cable management too you can move the monitor back and forth you can even tilt it and really overall it just gives the monitor of floated fill which that is the theme of this room you haven't noticed already I have the standing desk and very soon I'm going to show you guys something else what's powering the monitor is my 2015 fully spec MacBook Pro but I did upgrade my macbook to the brand-new 20 2016 inch with the brand new GPU and also that computer is gonna have type C's so I can connect it directly onto my mother and that's gonna also charge the macbook 2 as well now in terms of my peripherals I went with the Logitech MX master 3 and also the MX keys and I gotta say using the master 3 this is a game changer for Final Cut Pro and even just for the Mac in general like the way you use your Mac using this mouse is a game changer using the wheel you see this wheel here it could just go will you flick it you can flick through the pages or flick through your code very intuitively it's just gonna roll and then you also have more buttons so you can decide side scroll and you could do a lot of things that you normally can't do with a regular Mouse and now in terms of that MX Keys I absolutely love the concave buttons so we type in long paragraphs or short sentences or whatever when you pressing those keys you're gonna feel that satisfying feel and that backlit is SuperDuper bright you also have your dedicated screenshot button you calculate a button these two are just excellent companions it also works on PC and you can switch the connection within seconds now in terms of the mousepad this is from tilton nation the theme of this desk setup is to go with a retro neon vibe kind of like I'll switch it up throughout that set up videos and since this is an l-shape I also have another tilted nation mousepad this is RGB this is gonna be more of my gaming video YouTube side kind of like the chair is from e1 this is their champion series I'd still want to experience the autonomous chair but nonetheless this is still comfortable ASF now with the TV entertainment center that was a journey right there that was custom built so something that you're not gonna see nowhere else shout outside homie quiche he built this up and as you guys can see the TV entertainment center is floating so it's just on the wall screwed in and it's sturdy this is my first 4k HDR 10 television this is from Samsung this is the q6 TR and the picture quality is flat-out incredible this is also a smart TV so I can watch Hulu Netflix YouTube without having no kind of firestick connected or Apple TV now one thing I absolutely love about this TV is ambient mode you guys can see in the background it has like a photo gallery and also adapt to my wall color so it adapts to the same color and it has a picture on screen and can we sit down and appreciate those thin bezels Wow TVs came a long way and yes I know you guys probably seen thinner but for the price I can't complain now I decided to mount up my TV on the wall just to go along with the theme of a floaty fill this one from Mountain dream is the perfect one this is a full motion TV mouse you could be able to turn your TV you can tilt your TV and I gotta say the setup was fair you will have to drill some holes in you gotta find the stud [Music] and one thing I noticed the TV is not flushed on to the wall and that's not necessarily a bad thing it just gives the TV more of a floaty feel it's like floating in mid-air now this beautiful speaker you guys are seeing right now is from Denon this is their latest and greatest top-of-the-line sound bar and I gotta tell you guys it sounds incredible it looks beautiful and it's super duper easy to set up [Music] the soundbar feature 4k HDMI with ARC support so art is the latest audio technology think of it as the optical cable you know that's old-school arc is the new thing - LED sound this also has a wireless music streaming with hemo support and it also works with Amazon echo and also works with Google assistant the app is highly customizable you can customize the sound quality you have a different modes you even have night mode which I'm a huge fan of because late night you don't want so much bass and I also love the connectivity so all you got to do is just press the connect button on the back you open up the app the app is going to see it you connect to your Wi-Fi network and you automatically connect to those speakers and same thing if you want to connect multiple speakers and have them all paired up at the same time the app is gonna allow you to do that just fine now the two speakers now underneath the sound bar are at the Denon home 250s I absolutely like I was blown away when I saw this when you hover over your hand you're gonna see the buttons when you move away your hand the buttons disappear and have I mentioned already on how incredible D sound the sound quality is just remarkable [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] lotta bass I'm mind blown and honestly you really don't need a subwoofer I mean like I said you can fine tune the EQ of course I have my EQ set all the way high bass and I have the treble set to like one decibel plus ya so I fine-tuned it I also have multi-channel stereo enable and the best thing of having smart speakers you're gonna get constant updates so you're gonna get new features improvements it's just a win but I absolutely love night mode I love how this has a built-in HDMI hub basically where I could connect my Nintendo switch on to the sound bar without connecting it to the TV itself it even has an Ethernet headphone jack as ill report this is the truth man this speaker right here is the truth now the 250 support airplay so if you have an Apple home pod you can actually have your home pod and have two 250 s and you can all have them play music at the same time so guys there you have it this is my brand-new studio and I'm definitely proud of it from the paint to the desk to the entertainment center it cost me a lot
