Building a House in The Sims 4 but the Budget Gets BIGGER with Every Room | Build Challenge

today I want to build a house in The Sims but the budget gets bigger with every room I've done a version of this challenge before where the budget gets smaller with every room so basically I'm Gonna Roll a number for a room say I roll 2 000. for the Next Room our minimum budget for that one is going to be 3 000 but we're gonna roll again so it could be even higher than that so hopefully that makes sense I think we'll both be figuring it out as we go but first a word from today's sponsor this video is sponsored by inview recently I've been playing with this great app in view where you can style an avatar you can join chat rooms meet friends or even go shopping if you like fashion or designing different characters you are going to love this app so here is my avatar here she is an icon and I want to get her a new outfit because I've been so tired of it being so cold outside so I think I want to style her in a summery look to kind of get the summary Vibes even if it's not summery Vibes outside I might want to go with the green for like the summary everything's Back In Bloom I love the jacket tied around the waist we could go white I could do the sunglasses I also need a really cute hairstyle this one is kind of close to my signature half up half down she is looking good and feeling fine fine now let's go to getaway island for a little summery moment oh my gosh look at the palm trees I'm on an island we've got a little bus back there oh this is so cute I think I'm gonna like it here I love getting to style my avatar for different Vibes different chat rooms different events and if you would like to as well you can download in view for free find me at Sarah Kendall and follow me thank you again to interview for sponsoring today's video let's get back to it so for our exterior we're going to be using 2284. now that includes walls Windows Landscaping I just loaded a women and we're already getting struck by lightning despite me trying to change the weather can we maybe make it sunny so I'm gonna go in here and paint some of my outside I have decided to only use five packs in this build I'm using Eco dream home decorator tiny living laundry day and everyday clutter and I think that kind of works for the more Scandinavian look we're going with this house I wanted it to be similar to the budget gets smaller with every room house just kind of for fun it's kind of giving me cabin right now too so we have 1954 left now we are thinking about Windows do we like the chunky window there I might like it more if it was symmetrical but it's not so after the windows we have 939 left for landscaping might have to go into debug at some point I don't know though what do we think I could definitely size a couple of these down and put them really close right in front maybe that's the vibe but these are 45 simoleons e just gonna cover up the little lightning strike we have nine simoleons left for the exterior here and I don't think we have anything that specifically works for the exterior yeah we really don't so that's gonna be our exterior let's move on to the front porch so our minimum we're gonna add a thousand to what we already just did we're also going to add 5 000 to the max each time so our front porch is going to be 5761. I'm gonna do a little seating area here that's definitely more of a backyard table but it's gonna use up some of our budget so mind your business these plants might look good we also have this blooming onion oh no blooming ordinance those are 600 each wall Vines I feel like I'm using up way too much of our budget I don't know oh we have an even 2500 left how did that happen I think these things are supposed to be window boxes but I'm gonna put them on the ground oh we could do these things do you see how that's clipping out of the roof just the smallest little bit oh man now I don't want to forget about lighting because sometimes that can add up pretty fast even though we kind of know we're gonna have a big budget for the backyard we'll do some planters out here because clearly this gets really nice Morning Sun that specific planter gets really nice guys afternoon sign 640 left we might want to Welcome Matt oh that's quite large I could size that down 360 that leaves us with 280 left as always I am looking for some plants maybe they have a hose out here oh and that leaves us with zero left okay perfect so this wall isn't actually gonna be here I'm gonna delete it now I just wanted you all to see what I'm designating as the kitchen area and the dining area so now we move on to the kitchen and our minimum is six seven six one and our maximum is 20 000 and our budget is going to be 19 575. cool now I wouldn't say that I'm particularly worried about having to spend this much for a kitchen I'm more so worried that we're already at like a very high budget and we're only three rooms in and this does kind of include our entryway as well let's make sure that we have enough for everything we want to do can't decide if I want to do these counters or do dream home decorator I might really like that like clean aesthetic of the dream home decorator let's try that for now for the walls or like for the backsplash we could keep it light I just figured since I went with these bricks on the outside we could do them in the inside but maybe they painted them and is this the color of flooring that I want I don't know is this even the flooring I want at all also don't know not me changing what I want to do again I feel like this layout and this color scheme actually kind of really works so that leaves us with 9 700. now something that I do want to do is kind of writing things up with the Clutter that we're using because this is very like leaning into the neutrals oh the mismatched stools are kind of fun oh I wanted to use the cookbook but I realized they are not in any of the packs that I'm using maybe we'll do the like interior design magazines okay I just spent way too long cluttering this up but I think it looks a lot more full of life than it did before we still have 2899 left I'm wondering if maybe we get a like kind of hanging light down the middle we can always go for our most expensive trash can because it's 1200 even though the color scheme is not my personal favorite it and we could get this like wall art oh and we can get a little tiny living painting which leaves us with 74. surely we can find a spot for this little butterfly picture right there listen if I angle this enough it doesn't look like it's clipping so here is our kitchen and we ended up with four simoleons left for this one I just did the entire dining room and I forgot to hit record because I got up and took a little break I'm gonna cry I'm gonna cry this is what it looks like I'm gonna delete our items and then we're gonna do a budget reveal okay it looks so cute doesn't it we had lots of cute clutter I'm gonna delete the lamps now here's everything we ended up putting in it we're just doing this backwards okay so our budget was actually 21 877 and here we go we'll do a little stop motion reveal of the dining room see isn't that cute isn't that cute I had a couple funny jokes in there too but now we'll never know now we'll never know the dining that I play when I live stream and I always get compliments on it so and we did have to use the 8000 Simoleon painting I didn't want to have to do it so early in the build and now we come over to the living area and when I made this area I could see how I was gonna lay it out in my brain and now I cannot see it at all our minimum is 22 887 and our maximum is 30 000. so our budget for this is gonna be 29 469 okay right at the top again trying to figure out if there's a way to make this most expensive couch like fit in with our aesthetic I don't think there is we do have this ginormous TV and there's actually nowhere for it to go except right here sometimes a fireplace can kind of help eat the budget and I'm not in love with that one but it is 2 000 simoleons I don't know what kind of color scheme we're doing I don't want it to be boring but the Orange is really a lot for me oh my gosh she could make a return I've never used this chair in any of my builds until the last video if you didn't watch that please go do so maybe the evil eye swivel or makes a return but a tasteful return like we'll put a little bookshelf next to it like maybe that's where we sit and we plot world domination it's dangerous that I know about that chair now I had no idea that chair existed before which is so funny to me because I have been doing every room is a different budget Etc et cetera Etc challenges for well over a year now probably almost two years do we do the authority she does not really have a rightful place here because she is so cheap but I could justify it I could make it work this is our main layout I do kind of hate it because I feel like for this amount of tiles there definitely should be more everything it should work a lot better than it is working we're gonna put the little autumn in there and if it catches on fire that's not my problem Sarah Kendall Industries is not responsible if that little ottoman catches on fire we got to 700 real fast like no I don't know what to do maybe we do this here 294. we would do a little this moment 19 left maybe I can change the couch she definitely can get a little more if we change the cow famously I love the Eco lifestyle count which gives us 149. there are also gonna be doors here so that'll kind of make it look a little bit bit more full we could change the fireplace oh I'm not mad at that all right so here's the final overview of our living area this is like the evil plotting corner and then this is like the Chill Vibes area and we have four simoleons left again next we have this teeny tiny half bath and our minimum is thirty four six nine and our maximum is 35 000. we're going to be doing 34 883 right at the top again let's use our most expensive door our most expensive toilet that's our most expensive sink I don't hate it I don't want to use the fancy mirror I'm so sorry I'm not gonna do it it's not my last video I do not have to use the most expensive though that would be intelligent I'm just gonna clutter this up with like the basics and we're gonna see where that puts us it's not gonna be good so with all of the Clutter we still have 30 870 left so maybe we do a gallery wall that features the 8 000 Simoleon painting the 7 500 Simoleon painting this 3 000 Simoleon painting if exactly 12 000 left we could do the 12 000 Simoleon tub we absolutely could not we could size it down it looks really weird if we size it down maybe it's a little like miniature tub that is like for Decor you know so this is our half bath and we of course ended up with zero simoleons left I figure let's just do the second bathroom next get it out of the way and our minimum is 35883 our maximum is 40 000 and our budget is gonna be 38 129. all right so first things first are 12 000 Simoleon tub second thing second our 1800 Simoleon toilet third things third are 500 Somalians sing I am taking our most expensive rug that's gonna be a bath we've got toilet paper we're gonna get multiple towels a little ottoman again are they gonna walk directly through these bathrobes yeah do I need to shove every bit of clutter into this build yeah I'll be silly I'll use the most expensive mirror for this one here's our bare minimum we have 20 055 left perhaps another Gallery wall she says through tears I don't know why you'd have a wedding portrait in the bathroom but we're gonna do it 80 simoleons left congratulations we have two hand towels so here it is our bathroom that is 38 000 whatever Simoleon we don't even have a shower though now that those are out of the way we're gonna move on so our minimum is gonna be thirty nine one two nine and our maximum is 45 000. this is actually gonna be the smaller bedroom we've got forty thousand eight twenty seven so I do think the bedrooms are actually going to be a little bit easier because if I really wanted to I could use these like most expensive beds and not only that but we can also use our 10 000 smallain computer and maybe they're really lucky and Rich and they get the 8500 smallian TV in their room wait why was this actually pretty easy because we also have our dresser this is getting a little bit of a weird layout maybe we do like this so we have almost 10 000 simoleons to clutter at least we aren't gonna have to use the eight thousand Simoleon painting one million gajillion times now I'm kind of thinking teen room with the star mirror a little clutter desk with some makeup on it just like mine I feel like quill pen is just like a meme at this point oh my God we have 1989 left someone called Taylor all right 34 left you know what we're doing more boxes so here is the look at bedroom number one I actually feel very represented in this because my desk is also that messy wait last thing we have to add a mug now we have four simoleons left again oh my gosh next we have the main bedroom of the house and our minimum is 41 827 and our maximum is 50 000. and we're gonna do forty seven thousand one sixty eight so here's walls and Floors we still have 46 800 you can use our 12 000 Simoleon bed what should our layout be I want it this way because then we can put the TV on the wall there yes television and over here we'll do our desk this isn't the exact aesthetic that I was really hoping for with this kind of like Eco lifestyle house but it is kind of what we have to do and we have about 11 000 left so I feel like we can oh we can definitely do some big plants that might like bring some of our ego Vibes back maybe they're an architect or something and we've got some frames sketches oh I almost forgot a door so here's our layout the bed is definitely a choice but I don't really know what else to do unless we do the lighter swap I honestly think this one is fine now we clutter and I don't know why but I was envisioning the antiqued homes right there these are kind of fun I need some phoning Keys some watch another phone and Keys CDs are always a classic they will just bring in some more clutter down here what is this like a drawing pad let's add that definitely some books maybe some more boxes I don't know I'm like when in doubt boxes 2018 left I have not added a rug yet 11.93 what could we add always do some more canvases maybe they're also an artist on the side even though I've not added an easel oh I do love the birds sometimes they're kind of cute to add 23. we definitely can get this little 20 Simoleon basket this is our what 47 000 Simoleon bedroom I actually think it's really cute a little cluttered but it actually has more of an Eco Vibe than I was expecting and we have a skylight so finally we have the backyard hard back patio and our minimum 48168 and our maximum 55 000 and we're going to be doing 49 391 so we did not break 50 000 at any point I don't know what to think about that is that a success who knows do we do a massive pool that's 10 000 Simoleon no we can't do a pool that big that's just ridiculous we can do a full that big we're gonna squeeze the hot tub right there store our Landscaping all around I need there to be like a class on Landscaping because I really do the same thing every single time we've got our Grille 1300 why not an eight-seater all right 29 000. we definitely need some lounge chairs I think we gotta do these ones because they're more expensive we still have 27 000 left um we're getting Turtles all over maybe they're like Eco people who work on Turtle conservation and that's why their pool looks like this I am just loading up this pool with literally anything that could possibly take up more money like I am not messing around are these lights all going to be perfectly symmetrical and whatnot probs not besties but it's all about the friends we made along the way still can't believe I did not hit record before I did the dining room I'm like sad please please it looks so funny from the top but we only have 17 000 left oh you know what we can do is some solar panels soak up that light a few of our water captures whatever these are there we go seven thousand left that's what I like to see that's what I like to hear we could also do a wash tub mainly because I did not do any type of laundry room they're so sustainable this is actually like my dream to be quite honest because this looks so funny but also not funny because sustainability is not funny oh my God a household power generator why have I never done this I think we might need a bit more lighting but these is kind of a little entryway moment oh and we'll look over the garden plot oh could we get some rocks I could not really afford any rocks when we were doing the initial outside let's do a little outdoor rug moment maybe just some plants I actually really like these Eco plans 172. let me get maybe a little plan in the middle of these
