Building a battery box lid for 2-105 white and hauling some grain

[Music] [Music] morning guys she's a nippy one the grain hauling day today but so we're gonna get hung up on the rods and the mole wired down so they can't knock it off and then I'll show you what she looks like here so talk to you in a bit oh okay so that's what I was meaning with them hooks er hanging on the bar and then the kickstand holds it up on the bottom now that'll hold the trough so I tied it on here like this just some number nine wire so they can't knock it off cuz then the guy gets real mad oh you're so soft-spoken how nice so anyway no go get some oats and put them in here I don't know if I got any rolled I'll have to see fast she rolled in you're not but whatever we got to do barn tours first and go anywhere I got death summer and I took the inverter up to the semi this morning and plugged it in so I'll go try started around lunchtime I guess I would give it I don't know that three hours I guess so that should probably be pretty good with it's got a block heater for the antifreeze and it also has a oil heater for the it's in the oil pan there's a heater in the oil pan so that's what we're gonna do next so here's the water room but I'll get these guts I mean the horse is fat here first and then we will go from there so well see you in a bit oh there's a hay on my glove dagnabbit okay so I already brought the oats over to them but I think I might have to make one more little pepper has a hard time getting in here so here squeaks top screech now she don't wanna let her in there too much so have to make another one I guess that's okay that was just a trial this morning so that was good so I threw the bucket on thank they got these holes on here on the side of the bucket I want to make it bigger like bring it out here and then put a thing on across the top me and my brother-in-law did that on his old David brownie had the thing and move a lot of snow till it spun out but so anyways that's what we're gonna do now we'll clean that out there so the bus don't get stuck and then I got to clean the spot where the Timmy's got a goal or half the load wheat over at the bin yard over there hello ace talk to you in a bit again alright guys you just went started to semi here it's been running for I don't know half hour 40 minutes something like that warming up summer and I went oh man a bite to eat let's bowl a soup and a sammich so now we're gonna head back and we're just on our way back to the semi now maybe get there we will take it into town and dump it it's got a load of canola honorary nominees so that's a next step in a plan for today I guess so they only want one load of canola so we won't go clean out that bin which is okay because I don't have to run the backup to the other farm and now the East Alaska after we dump my guests we're gonna come back and they want a couple loads a weeks or one for sure anyway so and away I guess back to the semi and then once you get terrible dumping some talked in a bit all right so we made her back to the semi I don't know there's about four inches of powder down snow so hopefully we can get out of here but the diff lock on she's not a full Walker so hopefully we'll get out of here but maybe what we'll do is we'll backup purse and then try there we go wants to back up so that's nice I don't have a rightful either because I'm kidnapped they don't remember so anyway we're gonna try 30 ish whatever anyway well I've got up to is I'm trying to make a battery box for the old white here so what I've got so far is I got a plate cut for the top and excuse me not going to drop a piece down and that's what I'm gonna cut out of this sheet here so who is the here's the top piece it's got the dowel pins lined up so I got this piece marked out here trying to clamp my straightedge on and let her buck yeah I find another pair of vise grips so I guess first if I got any oh yeah nice so anyway we will clamp these on here legs act this ends that and somewhere in there probably they'll be like that in there and I'll show you when I get her set up here okay boys know we cut the sheet metal we don't want to have too much heat on the old girl so just tone her back a little hair well I probably don't even need that much but 35 amps on 14 gauge sheet steel so know when you put on your straight edges your guide we're pitting there bang on to the old and blue mark so tell me I'll get her chopped up here oh it let's see if I can hold it at the same time that's just see here then you guys can see your the old girl if you go too high a heat and you're cutting cheap see little warp it or you'll just blow one big ugly gas and doesn't look good so now I'll bring it over here to the not plasma table well cut that piece next I guess that can sit there on this little bench for the moment no this piece no good I print me I thought I could get two pieces out here but a can this piece in here why it's cut like that all goofy I made a guard for my baler pick up guard what I cut out of here that's how it looks like that so in case you're wandering right I don't really give a ugh I thought I tell you anyways so I'll go throw over here and bring you back when I get her cut okay boys watch out for that cutoff finger again so and got her welded up here which I had a little gap in here before cuz this top piece was crooked but I saved it so anyway let's see what she looks like would be nice so maybe I'll do that next either that or something ain't gonna fall off there anyways but does that look good I just got tired of stepping on on the battery try to get into the cab so of expanded metal like cut it out and welded on there I look pretty good I think like this I meant like this tough to see maybe I got some old back I'm a scrap I'll be pretty cool dings hanging on here give her a quick gray paint job or block I guess it is maybe black wore out I don't know but yeah that would be pretty cool say I'll get something made up there tomorrow maybe see how she goes like I say it but if I actually had that way to hold it down there that would be pretty awesome so anyway I mean Billy will leave you there for tonight we will think her away with it tomorrow again so the roof and that would be dandy real hand so anyways I did find some expanded middle so I'm just gonna cut this out of here Singh sang with the old plasma and then we'll take this and we'll weld it on top of there and that'll be good enough for some grips so we'll get this cut out and we'll see you in a bit then I guess I see we got some expanded metal oh yeah look at that is that nice other than the pieces of grass I help low off but I'm gonna give her a paint job when I get her all done so now I got to make something down here make someone here so that I can hook that down and then we'll give her a quick little paint job call her a day and yeah we won't be hauling green for a while cuz it's now Friday you're talking maybe Green Monday now so whatever I guess we'll around in here then I made uh latch they're homemade mint so all I gotta do now just let it dry and stick it on there and then you guys can see what it looks like so I'm gonna look pretty good say I got it underneath the fan here just drank on my cutting table that's good so I won't give it any more pain Tanaka's the box is faded anyways but NIC set the painter gray or silver but the box is already black so I'm gonna leave it black so yeah man if I ever get a chance to redo this old girl then we will paint looks like the frame is like a dark grey or a block I think it's whatever toolbox is blocked engines black axles are black so probably that block and then the rest of this will be the white silver so anyway you gotta get a cap kit for the old girl one of these days old self SAS farmers been bugging a guy better get your wife a cap kit well I'll be going to hell see if I can't get money anyways we will don't need a quite that hot in here like sixty degrees now so we'll let that dry and yeah I guess that's about it I got a few orders I gotta work on in the shop here I guess the next few days then me and Nick are trying to plan a trip somewhere so I think that's our problem as we're planning it we should just get in the truck and gather Bakht anyway sure nice having these plasma cutter and welder and all that stuff here cuz makes the job go by quick so but anyways I'll talk to you in a bit here Billy how are you know so anyway we got her so that's the new step to get into the cab of the old 205 105 so save me stepping on the bat grey so she looks pretty good I think I'm good enough and like I said I painted with flat block so nice grip on there guy doesn't fall off I hope probably well anyways but whatever so anyway I guess that'll be her for this
