what is up guys welcome back to the channel today's reaction video is for 10 best places to visit in california a little travel video now this has been suggested by ron look like for i'd say a solid year it's assuming we haven't got around to doing it so we're doing this for you ron an absolutely legend to the channel always in our streams always in the comments and on patreon as well um let us know if you like this kind of idea of focusing on one area and maybe the best place to live in there because at the end of the day we don't know when we're going to get over but we want to go we want to do yellowstone i want to do a few of the states in maybe that one trip i know it's hard to do other states but if you know a few best places to visit it's easy to pick yeah i feel like california is always on our list caravan is definitely always like it's on most people's lists yeah but bridge is going to be there i imagine hollywood signs stuff out he's going to be on this list for me like i want to i'm interested to see what the best places are to visit yeah but for me i prefer to go like san francisco sacramento area yeah rather than like the hollywood areas i know that but then you never you take people's word for it aren't you because everyone says it's not as good as it seems blah blah blah i think you'd want to do all of it you want to see like maybe even more chilled out areas and then the hollywood stuff as well even if it's not all it's cracked up to be still yeah just just go and see it yeah def 100 i completely agree smash that like button guys smash that stars in disneyland this is a state that boasts a large number of stunning natural attractions including beautiful beaches serene deserts and majestic mountains california is also home to a number of exciting major cities charming towns and to some of the world's best wineries an overview of the best places to visit in california i won't mind that car i would not mind it the colors are a bit mad the nice money in the bank though i'm glad they've got seaweed number 10 big sur located between the carmel highlands and san simeon big sur is a lot of a nice job to the california coastline although it doesn't have any official boundaries it lines around 70 miles of the california's famous highway 1. the area is breathtaking beaches along the route more than just beautiful scenery for driving though the area also provides plenty of top hiking opportunities which one could go for a nice house several parks encompassed by big sur that is beautiful imagine jersey vibes a little bit as well doesn't it [Music] that gives me jersey vibes yeah have you seen any of our pictures from our walk like off the north of the north coast it gives you them and by the way when we say jersey we mean the channel england not new jersey it does not go in new jersey [Music] but like the thing with these beaches can you get to these beaches because do they look so beautiful because they're like not touched nothing you can get to they're just less huge i think this charming island is located approximately 22 miles across the pacific ocean from los angeles wow a favorite day trip for visitors to l.a as well as a popular vacation and honeymoon spot santa catalina is a small island with two main centers of population two harbors and avalon most travelers to the island stay mainly in the avalon area surprisingly yeah i mean it's really nice well it's kind of like the jersey of california it's jerseys off england nice island it's a nice island off california island even boasts a small population of american bison that were brought to the island during the filming of a movie travelers can reach the island by private boat ferries helicopters or small planes once on the island transportation is limited to bicycles taxis and golf carts there you go [Music] it's cute i like it just a few that means these are always golden lake tahoe tahoe is not only impressive for being the second deepest lake in the us but also for its wide length of shoreline which offers fantastic natural vistas the freshwater lakes travels both california and nevada and is a top destination year round the lake became a winter sports destination after the 1960s winter olympics were held in valley on the north shore summer brings hiking in the mountains and boat trips on the lake as well as days spent lazing on the shores and barbecue come on [Music] it's mad to think that's california i know an issue like you should not have snow it's in between nevada and california to like death valleys basically not fall after over meals on the show just make it just like i just can't get my head around it like to me in my head california does not have snow i don't i mean you see that it is mental but it's a fantastic spot also like sums up how big of yeah definitely 100 around the corner people are sunbathing [Music] number seven sequoia and kings canyon national parks these two national parks are located next door to each other in the southern sierra nevada mountains oh that's nice famous for their enemies giant sequoia trees these trees are more than 300 feet tall and their trunks can be as much as one hundred feet wide one second national park which was established in 1890 is also home to mount whitney which is the highest point in the contiguous united states interestingly enough king's canyon boasts the deepest canyon in america the parks are also home to a lot of wildlife species including bobcats grey foxes bears if they're lucky visitors might even be able to spot bighorn sheep or mountain lions both parks are popular with backpackers and hikers and there are 14 campgrounds available for visitors [Music] that'd be pretty cool to experience and just foxes running down there number six napa valley napa valley is the premier destination for wine lovers in the united states oh okay its wines are considered to be some of the best in the world to accommodate the many vino connoisseurs that travel to napa the area now boasts a variety of accommodations including charming bed and breakfasts lovely boutique hotels and well-known chain hotels camping grounds interested in spending a little money on lodging in addition napa valley boasts many world-class spas where visitors can get pampered and enjoy a variety of fun activities including hot air balloon rides and guided bike wine tours i'd love to [Music] absolutely i think i think you i think you love the idea and i think when we got there you go up i don't think you'd go on because you'd be absolutely bricking it i'd go up freaked me out but i think you'd i think you'd just figure out [Music] number five san diego with fabulous beaches ideal climate and outstanding family attractions it is no wonder that san diego is one of the most popular places to visit in california located just north of the mexican border san diego is a large coastal city with a small town atmosphere the most popular attraction in san diego is america's premier zoo which is located in balboa park with flowering gardens and spanish architecture the city is home to other famous attractions like sea world san diego and the birch aquarium another tourist magnet san diego's stunning coastline offers miles of fantastic beaches including the upscale beach neighborhood of la jolla okay looks a bit quaint doesn't it you know i mean a little town center there yeah [Music] or imagine living there imagine number four death valley located in i didn't say that death valley encompasses much of the death valley national park although regarded as the driest and lowest place in north america death valley offers a variety of outdoor activities historic sites and nature viewing from snow-capped mountains to colorful sand dunes the unique desert landscapes of death valley are like no other place in california places of interest include the scenic vista of zabrinski point and historic sites like scotty's castle the wild rose charcoal kilns and ruins of ghost towns ruined ghost hands i'll give that a miss [Laughter] you've got to go back to experience isn't it [Music] is beautiful but there's just nothing there because it's so hot numbers nothing los angeles the second largest city in the usa los angeles is located in southern california surrounded by the pacific coast mountains and valleys known as the city of angels the city offers a wider you want to see the hollywood sign yeah god you're out photo where you're you're holding it or wherever it's at holding you up for on yeah but you can't tell that from the bottom i don't think yeah you can't but wild and crazy venice beach and malibu i do want to go playground favored by movie stars travelers to la can find some of the best-known music talks on the planet here including disneyland and universal studios hollywood los angeles is also one of the best places in the united states to go in search of celebrities tourists can look for celebrity homes or shop at the designers high view for early hills that cater to the stars and in la travelers can also visit and eat at the same famous restaurants that the celebs and the rich and famous you've got people i can say it that sounds way too expensive i mean anyone can eat at any restaurant yeah any famous person has been to you you'll pay the price exactly which we get a discount would you go to mcdonald's i'm sure someone famously never [Music] it's nice though it does look nice i like that i want to experience that cycling along there yeah but even just walking along yeah [Music] mad it's so busy number two yosemite national park oh that looks nice mountains i've heard about this place yeah you're smiling is what i've been calling it my whole life is that is yep is all you had to say that's what yeah i'm gonna say because i thought you could go somewhere because i said that before you cannot believe that's how you pronounce it yeah pronounce it completely wrong in california the yosemite national park is well oh my god i'm so stupid giant sequoia groves beautiful waterfalls and diverse animal and plant life visitors can hike among the 800 miles of trails or drive along scenic routes to experience the driveways and glimpses of wildlife attractions include glacier point with incredible views of the yosemite valley the nature center and yosemite museum and historic places like the lakhant memorial lot and the iwani hotel yeah there you go san francisco is a fun and exciting city in northern california set on the tip of a peninsula in the san francisco bay area undoubtedly the golden gate bridge is the city's number one attraction tourists can drive bike ride or walk across this famous suspension bridge to admire and photograph stunning views it's like a prison as well in the middle i have no idea i i want to add this may sound super stupid if it's completely wrong but i want to say it's like the alka raz prison i think i've heard about this prison i think it is but that's something i do want to visit if i don't know if it is in california so i may be wrong i just actually looks the vibe it gave me the outcast vibes and i do definitely want to do that so that's another thing you could do on the list if you go to san francisco visitors to san francisco can visit lombard street which is famous for its tight curves or take a trip to san francisco's chinatown section oh my god and then of course there are the other big tourist favorites fisherman's wharf and the infamous prison on alcatraz island oh okay there we go yeah i mean to be fair actually i should just really play the video and listen that's a tight is mad somebody's mad that i would have gone that i would experience that i've seen that in princess diaries oh did you enjoy that california's on the list i tell you what i didn't know there's there's going to be so many states in this list i think every single one we're going to go it's on the list and uh we're trying to buy a flat at the moment which is going to be a nightmare because we also want to go on holiday to all these amazing places so we're going to be skim for a little bit but we will get there eventually um yeah i didn't realize san francisco looked so nice as well with joe i mean going around it which is awesome did you enjoy
