Bringing The 4040 & 2940 Home

how's it going everybody um it's been a crazy week of rain all this week and obviously we had a lot of wind today you see we got the uh 40 55 on the generator uh we don't usually run the 40 55 on the generator but um a lot of our tractors are down right now we're actually today going up to grab the 40 40 from kazonov equipment that's all done uh the 29 had an issue so that is up there right now so it's been just a crazy crazy year so we're off to a great start as you can see a lot of people have asked me about the truck uh we sent that up to get a box on i recorded this the other day so i'll show you that now so i'm following him up now we're gonna go drop this truck off i had a lot of people asking uh what's going on with the truck we found a box uh actually my uncle that's up in morrisville new york sent me uh this thing uh from facebook an ad from facebook marketplace uh that a guy was selling a box um called on it sounded good it's an older box turns out the guy was um bought this truck um bought the truck wanted just the truck so he was selling the box and the hoist and uh he used to uh work on trucks so um my dad went up there and looked at it said it was nice he liked it i uh excuse me we'll have to cut that part out so anyway my dad went looked at the box and said yeah you know he thought it looked nice suit our needs could just be good and uh grabbed it and the guy said uh he'd be able to install it too for you know a little extra money be able to install it too so we're running the truck up to him right now gonna drop it off to him let him install it so it'll be interesting to see what the truck looks like when it's uh when it's all back so that's what we're doing right now i'm just following him up so i can bring him home so yeah the truck should be done before we know it um what happened to the 29 is this is dirty from being on the manure spreader but actually the bolts that hold the axle housing um we had a bolt or two crack so not good it was leaking oil so that's being taken care of right now so like i said just one more thing so anyway it's gonna be good to get the 4040 back um originally thought the 4040 was just a blown head gasket and um the more they got into it the more they realized it needed a total overhaul so the engine has been totally overhauled so i'm grabbing my dad right now we're going to go up to kaznov equipment pick that up what are you doing sneaking up on me like that so it is the next day um we didn't go up yesterday obviously and get the tractors uh talked to kezno the equipment they just had to button up one more thing but both the 29 and the 40 40 are ready so we're gonna go up here in a little bit and grab them um and it stormed yesterday i didn't think it was gonna but it did we get a little bit more rain which and this whole next week looks like rain so after no rain all last summer we're getting hit with a lot of it now so if only they could just spread it out but uh anyway first thing before we go up we're gonna hook on uh hook the truck onto the flatbed trailer we got to call our fertilizers in for the uh corn so we're gonna go grab that first thing then we're gonna head up to casino the equipment grab the tractors and drive them home that's another thing i don't like uh with the bedroom yeah you gotta be really watch yourself on corners oh it's all for blues there we go i'm sure they're getting their sprayers all ready to go well they're already out spraying i don't know what but look at yeah you that what that is what number that is it's an alice is it it was all faded i didn't see oh yeah all rebuilt nice and shiny i said nice and shiny oh yeah it looks like a brand new motor don't it yeah never assume that's right well especially when you see some yeah looks good right on the money well that's that much less that dusty has to do there you go let's hear you fire it up sounds good let me hop into this one mine's not gonna sound quite as loud take the parking brake off we are out of here nice 75 20. these are all people's tractors to get worked on nice 40 50 with a four post not much on the used lot right now [Music] a nice set of double rakes there should hook onto that [Music] looks like they got a 77-10 over there let's see he's looking over there let's see if he turns and goes that way ah he is that's good might as well let these tractors warm up a little longer look at it [Music] nice looking tractor so we are heading out um it's gonna be good to get these tractors back home because we need to get this one needs to go on the planters that we my son calls it the planting tractor because uh it'll go on the uh grain drill and it goes on the corn planter so we need to get that back uh that one's gonna go on the roller arrow we need to get things moving here we're behind i say we're behind things but i got the better shifting tracker we didn't get that far first bounce first big bounce he went over see we didn't even make it that far from the dealership [Applause] good thing you look back missing a screen i'm just gonna throw it inside here [Applause] whoa crowd my leg so [Music] so i've been coming up to portland the cast on the equipment for a long time now my small town that i live in that used to i remember as a kid had a john deere dealership but when they closed up we started coming up here a lot of times we wouldn't take the highway we take the stateroom up i always liked this farm i always thought it was a nice farm let's see he was doing some mobile plowing with the 8640 nice 42-40 did a good job flowing up the ground the ground looks good but i always thought that was a nice car so [Music] [Music] good we toss in hate mails before we know it so so the 4040 is back the 2940 is back um good to get them back we've kind of we need to make up for lost time now so uh anyway i didn't go take the sweatshirt off it was getting a little warm but anyway you can probably hear the tracks with the background i got my
