well me and Daisy cakes are going nor the good old champion road grader that we've worked on so many times it went through CDFI our inspection passed the inspection but inspector wants some things fixed on it or I don't know if it's the inspector or just it's the things that we know we're leaking on it that we need to get them fixed anyway one of the main bowel clocks on top we got to pull it off reseal everything on it that jarl in steering motor we need to pull it off it's leaking out the shaft seal I'm running up the steering tube back down the call and then there's a pressure switch on the transmission and then that thing would be pretty title greater really he's got a newer Volvo greater that he's got to kind of set back there in the waiting waiting to be used but it takes so long to get all the approved paperwork push through on these fire deals I mean it this can go on for years trying to get a piece of equipment signed up on it so I mean he's got the newer greater there but he's been trying and trying to push the paperwork through so anyways we're gonna go over there and pull that main valve off pull that stirring motor and then that pressure switch on the transmission and try to see if we can we'll haul them back with us but I want to go get the d8 cat though some batteries in it and see if I can get it run in and get it moving and start messing with that thing and today so it'd be kind of neat get Mele Diego on b8 cake so we'll see if we're gonna sell it or I don't know kind of kind of based on what we find today be back with you shortly well guys get the steering motor out and it was there's a tube that attaches this it goes up into the column or into the cab this turn call him on the greeter and it was chlorophyll got to change this seal and I got a seal kit ordered for this and then I had a pressure switch on the transmission on that grader that was leaking just a Hobbs 15 pound pressure switch I think it was a normally open switch anyways here's the d8 guys and there's beautiful Daisy best-looking gallon in the county air we went over to the owner and get a couple these batters were in the dresser last year and they were good batteries but it melted one of the post often they kind of jerry-rigged some LED in here and got the post kind of built up and anyway this perfect thing for something like this where he can just where you just shift used to be a should be a dipstick but I don't see I don't see much for oil or not as her sight glass man there's a sight glass no there's not much promise there how about the old fuel tank is working it will not turn I don't know there's such a thing as he's torturers losing their prime after they sit for a while one transmission pump something going on there hmm I get my cast this out see if there's a way find the test ports and see see if I got any fucking transmission pressure well we poured ten gallons of oil in it [Music] in the ladle they help tell oil and see it I'm gonna let the blade back down I don't know where she's at I don't want to let the blade down on top of her well we're making progress oh yeah look at the cylinder leaking on that son of a bitch holy shit yeah I and see see exactly what's going on there see if we can get some pressure checking on the transmission here that is the next step fire do cats this program up this is a speed clutch port here this is the transmission pump over here and I was wrong guys this is the torque divider I thought that was a torque converter and the torquing of internal turned that drive line all the time or the new torque divider will turn that which will the torque governor's back in here I think with the transmission so I was wrong I've never been into one of these somebody's tested this before got to plug the F round it off so now I get a six point get on it hopefully get it out of there I'm gonna socket I guess now let's meet a child this is a little bit better what the hell eat a mirror damnit I think that 7/16 and put it back up I think idea brilliant wouldn't it I needed it still it's not really the right gauge that engage those 300 psi and that's about what the pressure supposed to me yeah I want to would see something was the filter element plugged up guys I'm gonna pull the pump off it's not that hard to mean look like to to get it off of here looks like your fool vent lines what says you got one too I'm not sure if those come out or not if those school closed through I know that one there now over there and puppy and we'll just see what happens here I'm overlooking on this oh yes I've never had one of these off and I wonder if the pump drive itself failed and it's not even turning that's another thing we can do we could leave the fuel shutoff in him I don't see if we can starters on the other side I was gonna say be nice if there's somebody else here and they could start doing them no pressure anyways guys I'm gonna pull this off I don't want to run my SD clerk clear out on this but basically pull this line here it's coming from the filter that's a hell of a filter on there and then pull this here these two lines there are two bolts here and then pull it off [Music] [Music] I would say that the pump is no good [Music] okay guys there is what happened to this thing pump gear broke learn to know what caused that something must have got in there you know it broke read it the key huh see that well we know what's wrong with this thing now I will throw it in the truck and I'm gonna get a pump we'll fix this we'll fix this thing get this thing going to where it moves again but this is a d 8k you guys it will be moving here shortly I'm gonna get a pump for this and I mean they don't think anything happened on the pump Drive I'm gonna have him come over here and just jog it make sure that pump drives turning like it should but I'm pretty sure the pump just failed on us no I thought something didn't feel right with that thing I busted that pump you're clearing too right at the key way it might just be fatigue from years of operation I'm just looking at this pump you know did the key come out of there somehow and then get in between the gear teeth and then break the dirty bastard because I don't see any damage between the teeth you know I think it just I think it just broke cuz there's no there's no damage here between the teeth like something got in there okay
