mind the group of topics today is not something new to us anymore but since it is our second year of this online education we still need to be reminded we still need to be refreshed need to be enlightened um mental health yes we need this kind of discussion especially that uh just recently when when we opened our sock made account more and more fb friends are changing their profile pics into black or lighted candles or with lighted candles and we know the reasons why now this good mental health program is designed to continuously enhance also the competence among us teachers being the implementers of the basic education and pia del pilar elementary school adheres to the blcp guidelines towards healing the nation by remaining committed to the goal of delivering accessible quality liberating and safe basic education services amid these critical times and teachers are expected not only to be physically healthy but also mentally healthy as well mental health includes the emotionalized psychological and social well-being and if it affects our it affects oneself how one handles stress and makes a healthy choices so nurturing our mental health can also help us combat or prevent mental health problems that are usually or sometimes associated with a chronic physical diseases so it's okay not to be okay we have to find solutions just according to our asds in charge dr our next speaker for today is a former alumnus of our school a very talented and energetic and ambitious young boy he went to be mappa during his high school days with flying collars he first taught bachelor of science in psychology and became a president of student council in pamantasang longsword during his college days after taking psychology he continued his courses his course in medicine motivated by his good will and ambition he became a registered doctor right after he took up the first board examination in medicine he is practicing his profession in different hospitals in manila as a part-time doctor he has his his own clinic along uriza street near pio del pilar elementary school ladies and gentlemen i'm proud to introduce to you our guest speaker for today is none other than dr francis olaso for his encouraging message all of our beloved teachers staff students and of course our beloved principal mangano omagapos i am dr francis olaso a primary care physician and a proud alumnus of pio del pilar elementary school batch 2006 so i would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of you for inviting me as your guest speaker for this year's brigade escuela with the theme by anihan para and i hope everyone is feeling good today and you know what the moment i received the invitation at first nagola and then i got little killig because i just remembered when i was in grade school speakers nang and to tell you honestly i used to attend the annual brigades cuellar i think the first time i joined was when i was in grade um grade four i think uh yeah great for po active sub regard even after i graduated um my elementary school i'm in my grade school years i used to go back to pyo del pilar um for few more times and to attend and support our brigade escrow and we were always very so uh very excited we were not actually getting paid for it it's really a bayanihan and we don't get any monetary um rewards for volunteering on this um brigade escuela and but what kept us going that time is the fact that we really highly value and love our alma mater pio del pilar and for me and for us it really felt like it was our second home [Music] and we all have to trust god preserve our faith in him and continue with our lives so as a doctor as a primary care physician given that uh giving the threat of kobe 19 pandemic we have to fully realize and understand that any time and anywhere we can get infected by the virus and despite being vaccinated with two doses and we we can still get confident in infection but that doesn't necessarily mean that we should discourage our family members in getting their vaccine jobs what we should do is to please encourage our loved ones to get vaccinated the soonest uh time possible and let's practice again for the end time as medical frontliners to our patients and to everyone that we have to practice wearing our face masks and patients properly because again despite getting fully vaccinated and given all the variants that are recently being discovered we are all still at high risk of contracting the virus or getting the infection that is why we still have to take extra precautions when going outside as we do our daily effects and if you happen to experience symptoms such as cough colds fever loss of smell or taste and other associated symptoms of kobe 19 don't ever hesitate to keep it as a secret no so we have to protect our family members we have to inform them that we are experiencing these symptoms and the soonest possible also we have to consult our nearest doctor i know we have this high level of apprehension of going to hospitals due to the due to the high possibility of um getting the infection but as much as possible if we could find other ways like for instance now we all know that consultations being done online is now um at the trend we can maximize that we can get that opportunity to consult our doctors even by online consultation for us to have an idea about the things that we are experiencing the symptoms that we are manifesting so once again consult your nearest doctor go to the nearest clinic or health center to seek for medical help and to seek for medical advices and together we will all um [Music] thrive um through this qubit 19 situation so with that i hope that we all stay safe and continue praying that this pandemic shall
