The last half of season 5 was completely bonkers. Best season of TV ever IMO
It really makes me wonder if people who binged this felt the same way as people who watched it live. That cliff hanger means nothing to people streaming it, but when I watched that, had that cliff hanger, and had time to digest and talk about that ending while the next few days was amazing. I still remember the next day asking everyone about that scene. Not having resolution to that conflict made that scene even more magical.
To me Crawl Space ending scene was more intense. I mean just when Walt finally decides to skip town he goes to his last source of funds the money stashed under the floors and then to realize his wife gave it to Ted. His laugh was scary. Every time I watch that scene I totally forget this is just a show because the acting was so good I felt like i was in the same room witnessing the events.
It was the best "Executive Producer-Vince Gilligan" ever. Came at the largest "OH COME ON" moment possible.
