Hi everyone, this is Haijuan we'll be making some crispy sweet pancakes today it's easy to make and decently delicious it only takes a few minutes to make let's get right into it add 400g regular flour mix the flour with 300g of boiling water stir as you pour in mix the flour until it turns into flakes, then cool it for a bit then make a dough out of it work the dough so it's smooth and soft it doesn't stick despite being made with hot water that's because we used the right amount of water if your dough is super sticky use lesser water next time this is according to the flour you are using close a lid on the dough and set it aside for later now let's prepare an oil paste first put in two small spoons of flour heat up some oil that's about 4 teaspoons of oil heat it till it begins smoking, then turn off the heat pour the hot oil over that flour mix it well, cool off for later then let's make a sugar filling add 3 spoons sugar add a small spoon of flour add a spoon of dark sesame mix well for later use you can add some oil to make it easier to work with later it'd be easier to wrap it when it's wet take out the dough you don't have to chill this dough since it's made with hot water flatten it shape it a bit flatten it again into a big thin piece doesn't matter if its circular or rectangular since we used boiling water it's easy to flatten with a rolling pin now I've made it into a 0.2 cm thick large rectangular piece apply an even layer of oil paste to the surface use a scraping board to distribute it evenly makes the process easier roll it up from the bottom shape it a bit cut into equal sized chunks set the chunks under a piece of plastic so they don't dry up dough made with boiling water dry up easily take a chunk, press it flat flatten it with a rolling pin use it to wrap some of that sugar filling we made close it up similar to how you make a baozi then shape it a bit more smooth it out then press it flat flatten it with a rolling pin now a pancake is ready to be cooked isn't that easy? this way you don't have to chill the dough, with save a lot of time aim for 0.5 cm thickness on your pancakes put it under a piece of plastic to prevent it from drying up preheat the pancake maker, add some oil a bit more than usual put in our pancakes after the oil is heated close the lid, heat up both sides, and bake for 2 minutes check in 2 minutes, now the surface is slightly puffing up now flip the pancakes around the other side close the lid, keep bakin' flip it again after it reaches a nice brown noice we'll flip it again and check keep baking until both sides turn a nice brown like this the skin is crispy if you press against it takes about 6 minutes take them out after both sides brown nicely now it's ready to eat just look at them look at the crisps falling off and open it up to see the insides looks nice it sure looks delicious and the process of making it is simple too remember to like if you enjoyed try out this recipe if you liked it this is Haijuan Cuisine, see you tomorrow Hi everyone, this is Haijuan today I'll be sharing a new pastry recipe as per usual it's really easy to make, and frankly quite delicious too let's get right into it add 400 g of regular flour put in two spoons of sugar you could add some salt if you don't like the sweet flavor mix the flour with boiling water stir as you pour I used about 300ml of water for 400g of flour mix the flour into flakes, then cool it a bit before you make it into a dough apply some oil to the surface of the dough this is to prevent it from sticking, smooth the dough again since we used boiling water, the dough is easy to work with close a lid on it and have it chill for 20 minutes take out the dough work it a bit roll it into a long piece cut it into equal sized chunks make the chunks slightly bigger than the ones you'd be slicing when making baozi work the small chunks a bit make it circular press it flat take a chunk, press it flat again flatten it with a rolling pin as if you are making jiaozi wraps make the thickness somewhat consistent that should do heat up some oil put a chopstick in there the oil is hot enough if the chopstick bubbles put in the pancakes keep tapping it with your chopsticks after it begin floating this way the surface the pancakes puffs up nicely then flip it around this process takes about a minute they'd be ready after both sides brown nicely now these puff cakes are ready there's two key points on making these 1 is to tap them with chopsticks when they float around spin them as you tap them then they'd puff up easily see? both sides achieved a nice brown looks really delicious try out the recipe if you liked it this is Haijuan, see you tomorrow Hi everyone, this is Haijuan we'll be making glutinous-rice cakes today my family really likes them let's get right into it first we'll prepare two sweet potatoes skin them, wash them, cut them into thick slices steam the slices for 15 minutes so they get super soft now they are thoroughly cooked take them out and set them in a bowl mash up 300 g of sweet potato slices save the rest for later add 250 g of glutinous-rice flour to the mashed sweet potatoes stir it nicely make it into a dough after it turns into flakes like this make it a dough of medium softness then move it onto a piece of cutting board apply some oil to the cutting board to prevent sticking roll the dough into a long piece cut it into equal sized chunks take a chunk and shape it into a ball then press it flat add a spoon of sweet bean paste and wrap it up close it using the end of your thumb then make it a ball again press it flat into a small pancake this should do preheat the pancake maker, apply some oil put in the pancakes close the lid and bake them for 2 minutes time's up, flip them around close the lid and bake it for 2 more minutes flip them and check looks good really nice take them out after both sides reach a nice brown like this the colors look real appetizing see?
