Thanks so much for posting this!! My mother was a huge proponent of teaching in those early years. She always said children were sponges in those first 3 years. She schooled my brother and I at home our first 4 years and I believe with all my heart it has attributed to our success throughout our lives. Loved this one Peri!!
is the science in this doc much good? am not disagreeing with the conclusions, just the quality of some of the science. e.g. I understand the marshmallow test conclusions where invalid as they did not account for background of the parents, the background of the parents was a bigger factor in both the marshmallow test and life outcomes. also some of the experiment from the 1970's at the start did not look to handle the placebo effect. ... am interested in sources for the science in the doc, if people know of any.
Interesting idea!
