I play a guy named Heinrich Harrer who is he's a mountain climber of an Austrian mountain climber well don't listen I start out doing a lot of climbing you know which was excellent experience I don't think I would have got to otherwise we started out in California doing some small crimes and then we went to Italy and Austria and did some glaciers and climbed the Dolomites a little bit we got all right we did all right I just like this man's journey because he starts out there's solipsistic egomaniac really you know it's all about himself and you know along the way gets these wake-up calls and figures it out so this is pretty much the best act we have certainly my generation I mean I think what he didn't make it as good as anything Brando Nicholson Pacino any of our greats I think he's right in line what I respect most is his uh passion for the journey the experience just like making this film you'll never see him lose his cool because every day no matter what's thrown out of me he still enjoys it somehow and something to be drawn from that
