Ever since I could talk I've actually, um, had a stutter,... ... so it's kind of great to actually get up
here and perform. I'm Harrison Craig, I'm 18,
and I'm from Melbourne, Victoria. Having a stutter growing up, was quite a challenge... ... my whole primary school life
I did get picked on quite a lot. I started singing at the age of nine that was through the Victorian boys choir... ... and then from there I thought I don't really want
to be part of a group anymore. I'd like to pursue a solo career. Since then I've been singing my heart out I guess so I'm really hoping that my voice doesn't fail me tonight Thank you very much. Look at that.
Look at that. I can't contain myself right now... ... it is voices like that that make
guys like me wanna coach. - Thank you Seal. That is a wonderful instrument that you have there. Something tells me you
have a really interesting story... ... because when you sing it is so natural, you feel so comfortable. Ever since I could talk I've actually, um, had a stutter,... ... so it's kind of great to actually get up here and perform so passionately and it's beautiful. I love it so much. I don't care if you stutter, I don't care,
as long as you keep singing like that... ... I will fight like hell to give you what you want,
to bring you closer to everything. You might stutter off stage. You definitely don't stutter on stage dude. You own the stage, man. Harrison, I believe you're really special... ... I believe I understand special and I believe that your journey and everything you've gone through - to stand up there and be strong like that is so inspiring and... ... I want to be able to really, you know,
help your dreams come true What is it that you want to do?
Like what songs do you wanna sing? - yeah, um, well my dream is to be a global recording artist that's where I want to go and my kind of style... ... I've called it popera so it's like a mix of temporary jazz, pop and light opera. You know, I got to, um, I got to do... Oh, I'm so sorry Ricky, I'm so sorry.
-Ricky, Oh, HI Ricky. I thought you went home. This is Ricky Martin, by the way. Ricky Martin you just joined the show.
I thought you went home Ricky. I'm letting you talk.
I will do anything... ... anything you want, for you to be able to
tell your story through music. It'll be a beautiful journey,
and I'm really happy to embark on it. -Thank you. So Harrison, it's time for you to choose.
-It's your choice. Well if I have to pick one, just one, um... ... I would pick Seal.
For some reason, stuttering actually stops when singing.
This is just amazing! I also used to do theatre when I was a teen, and I didn't stutter at all when I was on stage. Crazy! r/mademesmile
