Bottom Deal Tutorial by Juan Fernando

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay so this is one of many other methods to do the bottom deal actually this grip I think is one of the most comfortable for me which this is the grip and mechanic's grip so you see how the index finger is relaxing underneath the deck of playing cards stick around third finger in the side and a forefinger this is the the key for a bottom deal Ally for one I was doing notice that the fourth finger is actually relaxed right behind pushing this bottom half against the index finger okay and the reason is because I need to hold the cards in position so when I throw this top card now before I proceed let me tell you that these differ the B and these cards are actually really nice for second and bottom deals because it doesn't have the white frame you know under it so I'm going to use instead of this deck of playing cards I'm gonna use this or the one of course this one doesn't deceive as much of the big ones because for the white frame white edges and as you can see the four fingers push in the bottom half against the index finger because when I take the top card I'm reaching sooner or later to the card underneath the day and if you don't have the forefinger obviously you wanna do a whole mess you know so to keep everything in position you need to stick the forefinger all the way outside okay Joe the very tip underneath this bottom half and you don't even need to do a lot of pressure job but relaxing the hand itself the forefinger is gonna push automatically against the index finger which is great thing so you don't have to be concerned about the pressure anyway the deck of playing cards is not really in awful condition it's not really a brand new neither bottle this is not a really bad sticky cards you know and I take the car at the bottom just like so there are many other grips in which you can you need to have the fingers in front and then walk home so you can reach the car at the bottom so it's not really hard you know to get it out in this grip is actually quite easy because and actually it doesn't require a lot of practice probably in about a week or one month of practice you have a pretty nice speed you know and you reach underneath get a cut at the bottom I don't like to help the pinkie roll up all the way outside because the top car is doesn't have a lot of freedom so instead I had the pinky finger right underneath and you have Lord you have a little bit more freedom but I just push to the side and where I don't push like that I push it straight to the side okay so I can reach Buddha index I always use the index you can use the middle finger the problem if you use the middle finger you won't be able to throw the card like that I mean well at least you practice how to throw the cards because to throw the cards you pinch with an index and thumb and then the middle finger is right here pushing using the card you use the middle finger to reach then you had to use the middle finger as well to reach the top and the bottom okay and over here instead you have to use the third finger which is well I'm not used to throw the card through the third finger you know so in the performance for the throwing cards I was using the index finger in the top and the middle finger right behind to throw the car you know and then I reach the crowd learn it now this bottom deal is much easier actually modern basically you use at least half of the thickness of the playing cards so a nice subtle or excuses you can have the spectre-2 coronet what they want and they're ready because in other groups I'm not used to it we have to be ready while you dealing cards you're getting ready to take the car at the bottom halfway so what you get here you can much easily take it off the deck so that's it pretty much once again the rhythm and the way you swing it makes things also a little bit more invisible as well you know we'll always use these techniques as a chav it doesn't matter how professional you are sooner or later you you miss the back of the bottle when you deal in you you won't catch the curveball and then you had to go back faster and you see how because the white borders is much easier to tell when is the car gonna stop and we need the car at the bottom in this case these other ones it's a little bit more not impossible but a little bit more tricky let me do the hat you can practice with a half top top bottom this is a nice exercise and don't don't start by throwing the cards just start by getting the crab bar that's the beginning of the exercise and this bottom deal because of the grip it's not a big deal what it becomes a big deal is throwing the cart and then throw the car at the bottom you know without same rhythm the foundation now if your table is not big enough all long enough you know to do a demonstration to throw cards you can use these card boxes with the cards inside as a wall you know so the car doesn't really fly out too much when you practice at least you can roam over here and then it's going to help you and you you know so it doesn't keep flying out which is a nice principle to practice but you see comparing all this volume and the thickness of the playing cards when you throw the cards and when you reach the problem is you have to use a little bit more of the finger to reach underneath so the index finger is actually contacting the car all the way at the bottom between index and middle finger now of course using the middle finger is a little bit more practical because you can cover with the index finger roll a little bit better okay and you can then do by bending the middle finger it helped you not to speed the process top bar top in bottom and the problem again and using the middle fingers I won't be able to throw the card and well at least you know the way I'm used to you you are not going to use you know the index finger and then do the middle finger to reach the bottom top and then the bottom you know it doesn't looks as good probably doesn't look too bad you know different looks as good as and using the same finger for all that tossing card now there is a second concern we see the sound sometimes it it sounds a little bit different when you grab a credit on top and look at the bottom because of the thickness you don't wanna exaggerate of course but I would approach this and you won't do a lot of pressure the top this is for our sound purposes look and when you when I put at the bottom at least I tried to make a little bit more noise when I get it from the top and when I get it from the bottom equally and we did throw the cards you different sounds too much which is a little bit better because you're getting more and more familiar how not to pull to the top because you don't have to pull to the top you know just the front outside and the front and you need to start you know little slowly little by little this is pretty much it the current table I want to mention before I finish with this video is and the swing notice this hand which is holding the deck of playing course is the one doing the most of the swing the handrims during dealing with card so instead I sometimes when I remember I I rather put the tongue right above the index finger instead of contacting any of these cards I'd rather contact the the index finger okay so I can do a little bit more pressure on underneath at the bottom of the deck and they won't see too much anyway because of the speed and doesn't have to be really you know really fast a decent speed will be fine you know now another way to make this move a little bit more efficient you don't have to worry I'm still I will explain it anyway is you know to lift the deck at this edge to the audience view not too much probably it right there so they don't really see either way you grab it from the top from the bottom again let's talk on the bar and the bar so they're on and because this hand the hand is holding the cocaine curfew the one swinging and maybe it's a little bit more justifiable either from the top or the bottom and you know I think that's it you wanna use this deal in principle instead
