Booktoks because I love books

the day he left me [Music] i have a book recommendation that i haven't seen anywhere and i need someone else to read it so just sit back and imagine this princess leah is set to marry a prince from across her continent that she has never met before naturally she decides to flee on her wedding day she manages to make it to this small town and starts to work at a tavern where she can keep a low profile and just stay hidden well at least that's what she thinks she can do day after her arrival two handsome strangers show up at the tavern they talk for a while have good conversation but what leah doesn't know is that one of them is the prince she was set to marry and the other one is an assassin sent to kill her if you want to know what happens next read the kiss of deception by mary e pearson this book is set with multiple perspectives and we get one from the prince and the assassin but we don't know who is who it started with the hey lost a quick and well it just started in the hay with the song john's song went up to the [Music] bottom honest opinion on popular book talk books they both died at the end was a solid 4 out of 5 stars i loved this book and i think it is so beautiful definitely worth the read but i didn't cry at all and everybody said i would sob and i didn't and for that i just think that tick tock overhyped it a little we were liars had a great aesthetic i loved the summer vibes the lake house vibes but i hated the writing style and for that it was two out of five stars anna and the french kiss i was pleasantly surprised with this book i loved it super cute slow burn friends to best friends to lovers and i think it was 3.5 out of 5 stars first book to make me song go read it right now it ends with us was 4 out of 5 stars i did love it a lot but i still don't think it was as good as booktalk could let it out to be part two is up now good darling i'm a nightmare that's some bush start a fight in five words or less without politics [Music] okay so i've never like cracked the spine of a book before and i suddenly just like have a need to so first i'm gonna dog-ear my cage which i know some people don't like but whatever it's my book oh my god i'm scared okay how do i do it i just like crack it okay what [Music] must-have book accessories part nine this is a book page holder that i got off of amazon you just slip it on your thumb like a ring and it helps you to hold your books with one hand much easier they come in different sizes i got mine in a size mini which fits me perfectly it's a nice little tool to have to make reading a little bit easier and more comfortable i am super excited to be a part of it honored really um will you just give me a second okay cool hi mommy can you come pick me up yeah apparently i'm the chosen one it's stupid right i why didn't i just swallow it oh yes i am now ready for the bedroom no i am telling you it was the size of my entire leg these authors are getting way too bold like what is that going to do for me puncture my lung come thrift book shopping with me and my mom [Applause] dollar book store is my favorite place so excited look at all these bins of books so many i want them all the young adult section is a chef's kiss it's been five minutes and i already found five books anyone know if these are good books should i go back and get them do another thrift book store cause him looking for avatar [Music] they didn't have it but they had this one so i'm getting it i spent fifteen dollars for 11 books you know what pisses me off so i'm minding my own business i'm just holding up a book and [ __ ] are like oh my god the poor spine or they're like oh my god look how crusty musty dusty his book looks i'm sorry [ __ ] that i don't buy books to be aesthetic or that i don't buy books to place on a coffee table for interior decor no do you want me to show you what i find books for let me show you so the first thing i do is i open the book up and i know totally new concept for you and in these books there's something called pages with something called words in them yeah and you do something called reading i know you probably don't know how to do it yet but i'm sure you'll learn soon and yeah i just immerse myself into the world of literature i'm sorry that after six hours of school four hours of homework that i that i don't sit here and read like no i [ __ ] set my depressed ass down on my bed and i spread that [ __ ] wide open and i read comfortably ugh i hate people that work at the bank i work at the bank here without [Music] reviewing book talk books with a yes or no yes omg soul-shattering ten tense you know not bad but really predictable can we please appreciate that one moment in enemies lovers books and movies where they're both fighting about each other's safety and one of them goes like why do you care and the other finally loses it and goes because i love you and it's just like oh my god or when one of them ends up rescuing the other and they act like it didn't mean anything like hey i just killed those 20 people but it wasn't because i care it was because it was a convenience and then they try to play it off and act like they mean nothing to each other again i have issues hi how can i help you today hi i'm actually looking for a love story fantasy related book it's about a queen who's trying to make a name for herself and she may or may not have magical powers and it's really popular and all i know is that it has the word queen in the title okay awesome let me show you if you show you a few we have the ember queen oh that's interesting it's not this one but i want to check that out okay perfect the queen's rising oh it's not this one either but i i want to check that out too the tiger queen looks cool but it's not this one the queen of nothing no it's not this one either the queen of shadows no but i heard great things i really want to check this out too and this one is my favorite the red queen yes absolutely this one this is it perfect thank you you're very welcome i had so many cute outfits planned for this year that i couldn't wear so i just wanted to show you see this i love it i couldn't wear it love it couldn't wear it then there's this love it couldn't wear it love it couldn't wear it and this was supposed to be my cute costume but no wasted so today we're going thrift book shopping at the dollar bookstore because i'm broke and i love this place would you have an addiction to this place have it legit in 10 seconds yes [Music] i had to get a cart any idea what these two books are about no but the covers are so cute [Music] okay so i'm about to leave i got a bunch of books i'm putting these two books back even though they look pretty cool but i think they're for like younger kids but if you think they'd be good for my little sister she's 13. let me know and i'll come back so many books okay i'm done and i spent nine dollars and i got nine books so as you can see i have a lot of books and thanks to book tic-tac i've recently gotten a lot more books and because of those new books i need to rearrange my bookshelves somehow now i do have them organized somewhat i won't be rearranging my harry potter shelf because it's one of my favorites and it's beautiful so i have them by genre so like up here is uh fantasy contemporary science fiction fantasy contemporary miscellaneous kind of the same thing on this and the same thing for over here um the top one is mostly like vampirey ones which i had crave up there but now i have the sequel so i can't put them up there anymore and there is wasted space but it kind of had a purpose because it looked nice but apparently i can't afford to look nice anymore so now i'm going to spend my saturday
