known her since said she was a little girl a Spanish when I saw her in the pram they pushed the Box [Music] well it's been [Music] a little while oh [Music] man dreams one day to fly man takes a rocket ship into the sky it lives on a star staying in the night follows in the trail the scatter of life turn it on you turn me on to me [Music] choir Master Patrick is singing that pie [Music] he turned up for tiny desk I know with a tiny amp all of these years trying to avoid a desk job but actually it's really good I love it thank you sir I'm getting into it a song um actually a song um about friendship sorta edge of myself were discussing earlier how we've gotten a little maybe more intolerant as we've gotten older of our friends and and well I've made the mistake of putting my friends into categories like boxes two boxes you should never do this like the really difficult ones you have to be careful what you say around them kind of thing and then the ones that you know are easy with and I've worsened that I found myself spending more time with the ones that I'm really easy with and not having the arguments that you really need to have with your friends and they need to have with you um this is for Michael is a great friend and great singer and I wished that I had had this conversation yeah it's kind of an argument this song it's not really resolved me and Michael will work it out another time okay [Music] me I'm not afraid of anything in this world there's nothing you can throw at me that I haven't already heard I'm just trying to find a decent Melody song that I can sing my own company [Music] never thought you and fool darling look at you [Music] look at you you're gonna stand up straight carry your wrong way [Music] you've got to get yourself together you got stuck in a mode don't say that later will be better now you're stuck in a moment back [Music] I will not forsake cause that you bring but the nights you fill with fireworks do they enough or what you don't really need now am I you've got to get yourself together you got stuck in the morning [Music] look at you now stuck in a moment and you can't get out I was unconscious half asleep the water is warm till you discovered how deep I wasn't jumping for me it was a fall it's a long way down it's nothing at all you've got to get yourself together you got stuck in the moment you felt good hmm wow yeah it's kind of yeah is this it's Bob's blessing isn't it something's something's going on thank you very grateful uh we're sitting around a year ago and agent and I and we're working on these songs which now called songs of surrender and they're reimaginings re-workings of early U2 songs um reimagining for the moment that we're in sort of thing and the moment we were in that day a war was breaking out in Ukraine and a stand-up comedian was standing up to the bully that was Vladimir Putin standing up for Freedom so we rewrote our song walk on for him and for the upstanding people of Ukraine and we are going to play a few right now okay with the help of from around the corner the Duke Ellington's going to the Arts okay okay here we go [Music] take a note foreign [Music] [Music] is the greatest act of all stand up for Freedom [Music] what you've got we can't steal it that can't even feel a one God stay safe tonight thank you [Music] [Music] into a kind of Rage that can't be kept inside a cage you fight or you fly before we die for Freedom whoa whoa God [Music] oh my God stay safe tonight yeah I know it aches your heart it breaks it can only take so
