Custard filled doughnuts Pour in a bowl 200ml of lukewarm milk Crumble 20g of yeast Mix well and let the mixture melt down Add 60g of sugar 75g of sunflower oil 2 eggs A grate peel of a half orange Vanilla Powder or vanilla extract 550g of flour Mix and add the flour a little bit at time Work the mixture until it becomes elastic and solid Put it in a bowl Cut it in a cross Cover it with a wrap and a rag Let it rise in a hot area until the doubling of the volume (it will need 2 or 3 hours) Work a little bit the mixture Stretch out with a rolling pin Create a fillo dough of 1,5cm more or less With a circle mold create disks of 8 cm more or less (we can even use a glass) Cover another time with a wrap and a rag Let it rise for a half an hour Prepare a pot with the oil for fry Let the oil warm up and when it is well hot start to fry (the ideal temperature is 170°C) Prepare a plate with sugar to garnish Let them fry and rotate them a couple of times until they are well golden While they still are hot put them into the sugar With the handle of a ladle create holes in the centre Use a sac a poche full of custard pat and fill up the doughnuts Thanks to watch the video!
