hi guys welcome to my video if you're new here and you want to subscribe to my channel please do that down below right now and give this video a thumbs up if you liked it so I have gotten a lot of requests on people asking how I round brush my hair or do a blowout on my hair as people call it I don't normally do that it takes a very long time and I get really hot when I blow-dry my hair I actually try to avoid the blow-dryer as much as possible so I usually air dry my hair but I wanted to give you guys an informative video and show you guys how I would go about doing that for short hair and this is the final look so if you guys want to see how I achieved this look keep on watching okay so I just filmed a makeup tutorial and while I did that I went ahead and put some hair products in my hair to let them sit before I blow dried I did the damage remedy Aveda a daily hair repair I love this stuff I also sprayed in the Malou hair shield this is just a heat protectant and this is from Dominus and I also sprayed in the shimmer me blonde from Kevin Murphy so that is what I have in my hair right now but I just kind of felt like those three products and one did what I wanted a serum to do for my hair I'm gonna use a 43 millimeter round brush and a 33 millimeter round brush sometimes I even use a 2 inch maybe two inch I really like that one too for the top layers but for the bottom since my hair is so short I like using the smaller brushes all right once my hair gets to about this stage in the drawing process so I would say it's 50% dry like it's still pretty wet at the ends but the roots are pretty much dry it just a little bit damp so I'm gonna go ahead and section my hair in three sections so before I blow dry my hair I would like to say that whenever I am using a round brush I always do heat first medium to high heat and then I will press the cooling button and finish off with that so it's like a silky smooth cool and it keeps the curl and the hair cuticle settles down and chills out [Music] all right that is that for this section so let's move on to the next so this center section I'm going to split in two next section I'm going to use the same brush and then for everything else I'm going to move up to the bigger size so right here what I'm doing is I'm taking the 33 millimeter brush I believe this would come out to be a one inch round brush it works really well I think that it works great for a shorter hair especially to get right to the root and make sure that you are adding that curl that you are looking to achieve alright next section I'm going to use the 43 millimeter go ahead so now right here I'm taking the 43 millimeter round brush I believe this is a one and a half inch I'm guessing okay I'm guessing right here I'm gonna round brush these middle sections of my hair just to add that volume as my hair is getting longer I'm using bigger brushes to achieve that voluminous look [Music] okay I'm gonna separate this section into two I actually think I'm gonna go get my 2 inch round brush and brush these two top sections I feel like it's getting a little curly before a blowout so I'll be right back this brush is not from crop this is from the wet brush I think they work exactly the same okay so for these last two sections of hair I'm really gonna concentrate the curl and we're at the brush right at the root I'm gonna make sure that I heat it up a lot and then I'm gonna put it to that cool setting so it cools everything down so it stays there and say it's nice and voluminous I really love using this 2 inch round brush I know that it can be very deceiving in you're like what the heck this thing is huge for my short hair but trust me it really does give that soft finish at the end and creates a lot of shine [Music] okay last section so I know that this isn't a middle part I'm pretty much gonna curl everything back and so I can flap it both sides [Music] [Music] [Music] I really like the finished look of the two-inch just because it gives that more polished look less curl more of a bounce at the very top of the hair which I really really like okay now that I'm super overheated and that took way too long I have way too much hair for this why did I even decide to do this video I'm just kidding I definitely love the body I think that it gives a very soft look to the hair I am NOT gonna just leave it like this I need to add some T's in it I need something to even out this this weight distributions no curling irons no flat irons were used on my hair today it's just the blow dryer and a round brush so what I'm gonna do here is I'm just gonna lightly add some T's really focusing that at the root you guys know I love my T's I don't think I could live a day without T's I just my head I don't know if it's just because it's a really long shape or what but I just feel like I need it to be a little more boxy on the sides it's very heavy on these side so it weighs it down okay that already looks better right now for this bang I'm gonna over correct the bang we're gonna add some just a big deep tease right here to get all of that staying to one side and then I'm gonna add a little bit of hairspray so this is the workable shine hairspray you can get this at Sally Beauty it's from the brand I on so I'm gonna lift up my bang just like that spray it back and up so it stays this little guy feel it's too curly I'm gonna change that I have to I can't live with that so I'm gonna take my smallest brush here we go okay so here we go I kind of added some movement going backwards right here because I didn't like how it was just all coming down so I just took that small round brush and flipped everything out so it's kind of like Farrah Fawcett II mm-hmm is that a word Farrah Fawcett II I definitely like this way better I think that it looks like sophisticated mom okay not bad it's very elegant I think that this would be great especially for more mature looks if you're going to something very elegant I think that this would be a great look not something that I personally would wear every single day just because I like more sassy mists I think this is very polished this is very beautiful yeah so I'm gonna do a 360 so you guys can see this look and we'll get on our way I hope that this little time lapse was very helpful for you guys to see exactly how I do a blowout on my hair usually if I do a blowout I've actually gotten a few comments before where people are like why is she blow drying her hair and then straightening right afterwards the reason why is because of this I don't like this so usually I just straighten the very Front's of it and kind of manipulate how I want but everything else is really smooth and beautiful and it just takes a long time you know what I mean I'd rather just blow dry it real quick and then I'm so much faster with the curling iron in a straightener than I am with a round brush so but yeah for all of you Mama's out there who cakes but and take the time to like truly add volume to your hair with a round brush every day kudos to you and for all of you guys wanting to know how to do it I hope that this video was helpful I will see you guys in my next video bye
