back of the head in the back of this russian sturgeon oh it looks like he liked it whoa it feels so cool it's hard but it also has kind of a layer of a slippery sludge on it it helps keep all the parasites away oh here's another one [Music] that is awesome whoa did you see that i just touched the stingray nice and gently with my two fingers on its back whoa okay let's uh let's touch another one oh here's one right over here that's silly oh come over here whoa there's so many of them whoa look at that one it's just resting on the ground that's a different kind huh oh here comes one sharks i bet they're really hungry come on whoa wow [Music] okay whoa look at this whoever drew that is a good artist it shows the different parts of the shark yeah like the gills [Music] all right we did it here you go oh thank you you're welcome what's your name my name's danny oh this is danny and what are you doing here so we're here with cassie and she's actually feeding our big sharks right now oh look i see a fish down there look [Music] whoa so why why is she holding a fish on a pole so that's how we get the food down to our sharks as they're already flowing the water columns you need to be able to have a really long tool to get this food down to their mouth okay so they hold the pole which has fish on the end and then the sharks come up and have some supper [Music] whoa those fish look big how big is that fish that she's feeding the sharks it's about this big it's called the blue fish because it has a kind of blue tint to it okay that's a blue fish it's about this big so what kind of fish did i bring up so you brought up some carrot which is a big fish in here and then some caitlyn which is the little fish in here okay interesting oh hey well this is pretty cool seeing someone else do it but hey can i feed some sharks yeah absolutely okay okay just make sure you have your gloves on so just give me a stinky okay all right let's put the gloves on so then my hands don't smell like fish for weeks okay all right i got my gloves on uh oh there we go one buck two gloves all right so now what do i do so we'll just take this fish bucket that you brought up from our kitchen and we'll head over here okay all right okay all right well head over to our feeding platform okay all ready for us okay i'm on the platform oh look there's no barriers between me and the fish lettuce but she also enjoys cucumbers bell peppers and even sometimes carrots lettuce bell peppers cucumbers and carrots sounds like red is really healthy can i try feeding greta yeah okay all right how do i do it just a little bit yeah it's a little bit the whole leaf you just pop it right there there you go greta whoa hey what are you doing can i do it here you go bretta you go oh greta's really big do you know how much grenda weighs she is a little bit over 100 pounds oh wow 100 pounds wow here you go okay let's do a big piece let's watch greta eat a whole piece here you go [Music] look this restroom is underwater and this restroom actually won the best restroom in america oh you can wash your hands right here and look at shark sharks and fish whoa this is awesome pretty cool all right i washed my hands now i'll go dry them you enjoy the view [Applause] [Music] okay let's go down the escalator to the deep ocean come on [Music] whoa look now it's like we're underwater look this way ah that's awesome [Music] i present to you a deep ocean exhibit [Music] hey what are you doing up there come on down here oh hey look hello hey so this is a sea lion there's another one over here oh it's so big so cool oh look look oh hello whoa and there's actually a seal in here as well let's go try and find it oh let's see oh here it is hello see that right here this is a seal hi so there's three sea lions in here and one seal and the easiest way to tell the difference is this i'll show you so if you're a sea lion you use your front flippers to to basically walk like this [Music] but seals don't do that seals oh hello oh you're curious huh i'm so curious whoa so that's a sea lion so it walks with its flippers hello they're actually really smart animals see how it's following me i'll try and change directions whoa okay and seals they don't walk like that you know this is a sea lion sea lion and a seal they don't have that much power right here and it's kind of short and stubby so this is what they do so they just kind of waddle oh that's silly wow what magnificent creatures check them out a little bit more [Music] [Applause] [Music] whoa penguins yeah we're behind the scenes at the aquarium and we're gonna meet some penguins come on [Applause] okay let's walk nice and slow and we'll be very quiet as who well you oh this is hutch hey what do you do here i work with the penguins the penguins and the reptiles do you see the penguins back there oh no are these your only two penguins here oh no we have more friends that are coming do you like to grab a toy we're actually gonna play with them sure okay let's grab a toy and let's see some more penguins look over there [Music] [Applause] [Music] really like a lot of movement with their toys so we have violet that has already come over to say hi it looks like it's enjoying my shadow huh that does happen so penguins really like contrasting colors they also can see colors really well they have rocks and felts in their eyes just like we do okay they're kind of although they're birds they're kind of acting like kitty cats huh just a little bit they do like to play with a lot of different types of toys and just like kitty cats they tell us when they want to be touched okay interesting it's pretty cool hey get a closer look oh bye-bye penguins are so silly so where are these penguins from these penguins are from south wow 32 penguins here these are from south africa not antarctica on the antarctica they're actually one of several species of penguins that prefer the warm climate oh okay that's pretty cool interesting warm climate and penguins i guess you learn something every day okay let's take a seat right over here and then hutch is gonna bring a penguin over i'm so excited i get a touch of penguin hello okay so i'm gonna touch the penguin with two fingers gently on its back hey are you ready [Music] oh it felt so soft did you know penguins have 70 feathers per square inch yeah they're really small and really dense can i touch the game yes you can yeah does that feel good you like that [Music] what does that mean when she shakes her head so that means she's really happy uh and if you might be i hope she doesn't want a kiss oh hello this is a little blue penguin it's pretty small whoa this board has the sizes of different penguins oh like the penguin i met today an african penguin whoa and they just keep getting bigger whoa whoa look how big they're getting whoa look at how big this penguin is whoa four feet tall 1.3 meters high geez look how big it is oh whoa that's a really big penguin [Music] [Applause] whoa look a toucan do you see it's beak kinda looks like the shape of a banana a really colorful banana there's another bird over here come on hello a colorful parrot hey how are you oh looks like it's yellow blue and on its head is green hey hey there's another animal right over here i want to show you come on oh look look at this animal it's tanaka farms yeah is a farm where you get to pick your very own fruits and vegetables yeah no grocery store today today you and i are at the farm here we go oh check it out it looks like there's a tractor and two wagons let's go here at tanaka farms you can ride the tractor on the tanaka farm tractor tour i'm so excited oh hey look hey who are you i'm farmer kenny ooh farmer kenny nice to meet you i'm blippi what do you do here i do a little bit of everything drive the tractor around and take you on tour whoa can we take a tour sure hop on them alright let's go [Music] check it out i'm in a carrot field all right step on over and you see all this green that's the top of the carrot yeah you don't eat that the carrot is actually under the ground that's why they call it a root vegetable okay in order to pick a carrot we actually need to find the carrots so let's pull these back whoa there's a lot right here yeah see all this orange yeah those are carrots but they're pretty stuck under there so let's take this giant pitchfork whoa looks like a small fork but way bigger and then let's loosen up the soil wow then we need to pick a carrot hey here's one right here wow check it out we got a carrot whoa yeah oh that's cool i love carrots they're the color orange i love putting them in my salads my carrot cake even some soup they're so yummy and they help your eyes be able to see at night whoa pretty cool hey and actually there's an animal that really loves to eat carrots can you think of what animal that is huh let's go find it [Music] oh cute bunny oh look it's a cute bunny wow this bunny's name is andy oh i wonder if andy wants a carrot from earlier here you go andy maybe andy's not hungry that's okay let's put andy down there you go all right there you go andy whoa i love bunnies they're so soft hey this is peanut butter and the other one its name is jelly oh here's another one look at all those oh hey here we go it's okay yeah wow do you see this chicken this is a modern game chicken yeah and they still lay eggs although they're really small yeah look at them hey you're so cute wow okay let's put peanut butter down so then peanut butter can eat some of the mealworms okay there you go oh oh and come over here i have something to show you wow right over here we have some eggs chickens lay eggs wow we have one egg two eggs three eggs and four eggs these two are big eggs and these two are small eggs but these two weren't laid by the modern game chicken these are still too big for those chickens okay we'll put these eggs back right here and let's go check out the chicken some more [Music] these chickens sure do love their snack [Music] wow do you see these these are carrots yeah they're the color orange i love the color orange it's one of my two favorite colors and these are onions wow that is a big onion and look at these these are also onions but these are called green onions yeah they're both onions but they look so different wow this is romaine i love romaine it's so healthy i like to put it in my salads wow and these are beets whoa these are golden beets and these are just beets oh look check these out these are cute these are radishes do you see the color it's kind of like a pinkish red yeah i like that color wow hey it's spinach these are in a little case a clear case yeah spinach is green a lot of these vegetables are the color green it seems like well see the radishes yeah the part that you eat is the pinkish red color but up here this uses photosynthesis to grow the radishes and this is the color green but you don't eat the top wow kale you should try some kale chips sometimes yeah it's like normal chips but healthier wow are these drumsticks nope these are sugar cane wow that is so sweet wow japanese eggplant wow these are the color purple it's a very dark purple wow so cool and healthy oh we got some green celery we got some cauliflower oh can't forget about the summer squash yeah wow and we also have some green bell peppers yeah right next to the red bell peppers check it out yeah red green red green we'll put those back just right there and last but not least we got some corn on the cob i love corn [Music] all right blippi we're here i am so excited wow i wonder what type of food this is okay let's see all right we could go down this row right here this one all right whoa what are these those are watermelons watermelons wow it looks like there's two different kinds yeah there's these small round ones those are uh yellow watermelon okay those big oblong ones those are red seeded watermelon wow can we pick a couple yeah let's find something to pick okay so how about this yellow one right here right in the middle this one yeah okay how do you do it just go comes right off when it's ready it comes right off wow look at it this watermelon is a circle or a sphere okay all right let me go i'll go grab a red okay whoa that's a big watermelon wow what shape is this looks like a sphere to me yeah kind of like a oblong sphere or an oval all right now can we put them down right here okay wow these are so nice okay all right so this is a normal watermelon and we know what the color inside is but we should just cut it open and check right see what it looks like wow yeah green on the outside and reddish pink red on the inside wow and do you see the seeds they're black seeds and white seeds whoa okay but since this watermelon looked a little different what's so different about it it just has a yellow inside flesh oh that makes sense yeah because it's called a yellow watermelon can we cut it open yeah let's cut it open and see when they're nice and ready they pop right open yeah whoa i've never seen a watermelon like this before look this is the color yellow wow alright let's compare them yellow red yellow red both are tasty wow let's see how it tastes mmm mmm that's sweet i love the taste of yellow watermelon what color is your favorite of watermelon my favorite is yellow mmm has a little bit different taste but tastes really good mm-hmm yeah let me tell you this tastes really good you want to try strawberry strawberries are so tasty let's go pick kind of looks like corn stalks but i know they're not corn stalks wow we're stopping all right blippi we're here on sugar cane lane sugarcane lane did you hear that oh that's what these must be sugar canes whoa okay all right farmer kenny all right what do we do now we're gonna cut some sugarcane down okay wow hey these are sugar cane look at that nice stock whoa whoa that's a sharp knife he just chopped it down wow what's sugar cane used for you could use it just to suck on you could use it to press it out make juice out of it stick with it is that what they make sugar out of yeah whoa sugar cane makes sugar wow okay wow look at that so normally you just cut off the skin and chew on the inside wow so you can chew on that right there yeah okay [Music] wow anytime you use knife you have to be very careful right grown-ups and only grown-ups can use a knife oh all right that looks so yummy you could chew on that little end all right let's try it hmm [Music] i love sugar cane whoa check this out whoa this is a monstrous plant and this is actually a flower this is a giant flower and this flower is called a sunflower wow can you tell why it's called a sunflower yeah because it looks nice so you can be nice back to them see [Music] i love butterflies because they're so bright and and some are camouflaged though look can you find one whoa look this butterfly uses camouflage for its defense mechanism just in case if there's any predators then the predators can't see it see all right now i'm with lorraine and what are you going to show us so this here is a madagascar hissing cockroach am i going to do with it you can hold it if you'd like sure let's try it now i'm about to hold a madagascar hissing cockroach hold your hand out really still there you go that's nice i like anemones they're really friendly and kind of squishy you're doing a really good job petting it with one or two fingers on the side we don't really want to poke it right in the middle because that's its mouth oh cool oh look at this one so the last ones are really soft i wonder what this is gonna feel like [Music] whoa it looks like it's closing itself up a little bit lippy it might think your food oh that's funny oh look at this one what's this that over there is a sea star how does it feel whoa kind of bumpy yeah bumpy and and and kind of small spikes the last couple were really soft but this one is hard those little dots are made out of the same stuff that seashells are made out of so even as though a sea star doesn't have its own sea shell it's kind of like it has little bits of a seashell wow that's pretty cool well thank you so much my pleasure bye-bye bye oh i found the queen wow there's so many honeybees in here hey don't be scared of honeybees all they're trying to do is they live in the grass a lot of times that's why they're called grass hoppers a lot of times they live in the grass and they hop really high let's go see what else there is [Music] look at this room another part of the living things exhibit whoa yeah do you see these whoa interesting these are naked mole rats wow they're like rats but they have no fur or or hair or scales or anything like that that's why they're called naked mole rats oh and then axolotl check this out whoa see that that's an axolotl whoa so interesting kind of looks like a salamander mixed with a fish but the cool thing about axolotls are if they lose a limb like their arm then from there they can re-grow it back [Music] check out this little person or guy or girl or i don't even know but this is a turtle wow hey how are you turtle are you having a good day are you having fun yeah you sure do look like you're having fun see you later whoa it's kind of dark in here but that's okay this is a green iguana can you see its head hey see it kind of looks like it's wearing a helmet just like when you and i ride bicycles we wear helmets cool oh here's some more dinosaurs whoa look at that one that is a triceratops do you know why they call it a triceratops yep because it has three horns on its face and head let's count them one two three all right see you later triceratops hey another dinosaur wow hey dinosaur oh this dinosaur right here was a herbivore see these plants that means it eats plants and plants only it doesn't eat meat and look at what's on its head it kind of looks like a shark fin so silly [Music] check this out whoa this is a massive footprint okay let's compare my foot to this dinosaur's foot ready its foot is way bigger than mine it's even way bigger than two of my feet whoa another dino check it out this is a stegosaurus do you see those plates on its back that's for its defense mechanism wow hey stegosaurus [Music] so many cool dinosaurs in here whoa this dinosaur is so scary station water is getting shot out on the front of this little water gun whoa whoa okay watch i'll make that spin [Music] we're doing it okay whoa what's that way up there do you see that yeah that's the seattle space needle i think we should take the water power gun and try and shoot way up there here we go [Music] it's such a nice day i wanted to give them a cool break of water but it's too high right over here all right whoa a taller one let's count how many there are this is a lot of stories of bricks 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18. 18 bricks coming down wow that was awesome okay let's uh organize these bricks in their different colors okay okay since we made a mess we need to take the green bricks put them over here okay okay there's the green bricks and let's now take the blue bricks and put them right there [Music] awesome perfect oh hey look here's some brown bricks let's put them right here here's a red brick let's put it right there [Music] hey hey here's some more blue bricks look at this one what color is that yeah this is brown let's stack it right there hey look at all these what color is this [Music] do you know what color this is yeah it's the color yellow let's put these right over here okay so when those 18 bricks fell down they were comprised of these one two three four five colors and those colors are green brown blue red and yellow good job let's see what other fun things they have at the pacific science center let's go do you like numbers yeah i do too what about big numbers yeah check this out this is a big number 76 million 383 232 whoa that's a big number but when i push this red button watch this number whoa it just went up by one see it's at three four five six seven every time you push this button it goes up by one so if you there's one let's see okay hey there's another um yeah that looks about right perfect we're almost done look yeah this is our moon we live on planet earth and we have one moon and we call it moon wow how clever of us hey look at what it is this is a planet just like how we live on planet earth this is a planet in our solar system and this is saturn and the biggest planet in our solar system is jupiter whoa it is really big look at that come here this is a space capsule watch your step see this capsule is where astronauts can sit in and go into outer space so then they can feel the effects of gravity and they can push all these cool knobs ready whoa [Music] yeah look i just made all those things light up whoa this is fun whoa it's like i can see planet earth all the way from out here
