made out of paper do you feel it oh yeah it is made out of paper no it's like a ton of colorful beautiful bookmarks yeah what do you think it looks like maybe it looks like hair really fun to have rainbow colorful hair yeah Mika can you find your favorite color or one of them oh I see yellow over here whoa look whoa Hey look it's right next to Orange oh awesome hey let's keep exploring let's go it looks like they're on a macaroon train wow this is so fun what color would you like oh oh let's see there's a lot of colors it means a lot of flavors I bet too I like that bright pink one one pink macaroon please here you go thank you and that orange when they're fully whoa okay so much and the green one there oh a green macaroon thank you I'll eat those later I think I'm gonna eat this blue because it's magnetic whoa what's magnetic mean when something's magnetic that means that one piece of metal pulls another piece of metal towards itself whoa It's like a really sticky yeah you've probably seen magnets before on your refrigerator that's fun wow and look at this I can take one from this color and switch it with this one whoa oh that looks cool let's keep picking up colors whoa oh clippy I see one of my favorite colors whoa yellow yellow is a primary color whoa what's that mean that means that there are not any colors combined to make yellow wait a minute you mean some colors you can make by mixing up other colors that's right oh I'll show you I see one of your favorite colors over there whoa like it's the color orange yeah whoa check it out oh Mika what two colors make up orange yellow and over here I see red whoa check it out yeah to make orange you need yellow and red and then they mix together [Applause] Orange I love Orange it's so bright and fun oh I like this bright and fun color wow it's bright pink I wonder how you make pink oh you take bread and why yep mix it together and you'll get pink my other one it's purple how do I look am I matching oh you match you look so good can I guess what two colors make up purple oh sure well purple's kind of maybe red and let's try mixing Red with blue okay ready yeah red and blue make purple hey let's go find accessories oh okay [Music] I'm gonna color this brown because blippi has brown eyes whoa no way Nika I'm coloring it brown because you have brown eyes oh we have the same color eyes the next one says oh this is easy it says guess their favorite colors hey can you guess our favorite colors okay I think that's a good guess [Music] okay if I had to guess I would guess that your favorite colors are red and I'm just kidding I know that blippi's favorite colors are orange and blue whoa yeah you're right those are my two favorite colors yeah yes too if I were to guess I would guess that Mika's favorite colors are green I'm just kidding purple and yellow you got it those are my two favorite colors and I see their cars over here yeah let's see this says you deserve a blue ribbon oh that's so nice Blue Ribbon is usually a first prize something that you would get if you won something and you did really well at something you get a blue ribbon so this is a compliment what does yours say this is also a compliment yeah oh it says you're the zest to my orange yeah the zest is a really good part of the orange yeah you can put not food it means you're really special oh and on the other side it's blank so I'm gonna write a compliment for you bliffy oh okay all right a compliment to you too Mika okay a compliment is something nice you say about another person okay okay should I give you my there you go nice whoa come in here hey we could imagine that we're at a grocery store yeah have you ever been to a grocery store before to pick out some yummy food hmm let's see ooh waffles that's yummy for breakfast there's lots of breakfast food here cereal oh oh cheese crackers and a mini pretzels let's go you have to pay for it hey let's see what do we have here cheese crackers okay and we have some cereal oh quite a deal I love this store [Music] and pretzels okay looks like it's oh only three dollars wow okay looks like I can take my snacks and go home oh it's so fun to use your what's down here hey we could imagine that this as a colorful snake or a macaroni necklace have you ever made a necklace out of macaroni and I noticed a pattern see maroon yellow maroon oh excuse me yellow so cool right oh excuse me it also kind of looks like ketchup mustard ketchup mustard wow [Music] hey I see a yellow slide hello and I think there's one down here too [Music] yeah a green slide hmm which slide should I go down yellow or green yellow or green yellow or green hmm nothing green hey will you meet me at the bottom of the slide oh see you there whoa whoa that was so fun hey let's imagine that these are colorful logs on a Rushing River okay see if I can get to the top without falling in bitter can I do it I got this i got this i got this I did it oh it's over here whoa check this out maybe this is a big Vine that we have to get past but it's always in the way whoa come on hey look more logs on the river whoa this is so cool come on [Music] more locks oh you have to be to juggle two balls I don't know how to do three yet I have to keep practicing hey look over here whoa at the very top it looks like a big scoop of ice cream or maybe a marshmallow or something oh and there's a cool looking pattern on it white blue white blue white blue white blue all the way around I like that let's go inside hello oh this is a fun little space whoa look at this this ball has words on it oh let's read it go to the slide for an item to catch and find the play area that looks like it's match a match that means that it looks the same hey looks like we get to exercise our bodies and our minds this is gonna be a really good game for the mind go to the slide there must be another slide here let's go find it oh this has to be the other slide I wonder what's gonna happen here that will help me play the game look whoa have you seen this before it's a stethoscope maybe you've seen one at the doctor's office yeah a doctor will use this to listen to your heartbeat oh yeah nice and healthy I wonder if there's a doctor center around here let's go find out hmm I wonder where this stethoscope goes wow look at this cool thing hello oh let's look up here hmm I don't think this is where our stethoscope belongs it's really fun though oh hey look mini clinic we found it this is a doctor's office the stethoscope definitely belongs there come on [Music] whoa oh hello welcome do you have an appointment oh yep you're right there come on in doctors and nurses are so cool and very important they take care of us and make sure we're feeling nice and healthy they check your heartbeat see what kind of tools are in here oh they'll probably look at your eyes and look inside your ears and sometimes they have you stick your tongue out and say ah oh and look there's some glasses oh one of my favorite colors too yellow and look you can dress up like a doctor so official and a little hat whoa how do I look Dr Mika okay so this is definitely where the stethoscope goes okay let's just clean up and go back to the slide come on so excited to see what the next item is here it comes whoa do you know what this is It's a tomato one of my favorites yum I wonder if there's wings and fly like a bat or jump whoa kind of feels like I'm flying for real and a letter c cat begins with the letter c hmm how can we act like cats get your little paws out and meow meow meow meow I'm gonna use these items for well only one way to find out oh cool and Billy B socks let's play [Music] honeycomb Village sounds fun let's go oh cool hey look at this a garden oh I love Gardens because that means there's delicious fruits and vegetables here and I love to eat all right let's see what's in this Garden oh corn on the cob [Music] delicious oh onions two onions one two yummy oh do you know what these are it's our root vegetable that's right potatoes one two oh and I see a big potato right here yeah me whoa this is getting me hungry there's even strawberries in this Garden one two wait a second there's something in my jam packed that belonged in a garden yeah I think there was carrot seeds oh this will go perfect in the garden I can just let's make some room excuse me food excuse me and put some carrot seeds in there and you need nutritious soil and some water and some beautiful sunshine and then a fruit or vegetable will grow I can't wait to see these carrots grow hmm we'll take a snack for the road hmm maybe I'll find a yellow snack like a banana that's a nice healthy fruit filled with potassium let's go did you ever notice that a banana kind of looks like a phone hello hello Mika yeah it's me Mika how are you good what are you up I didn't even know that this was charged up yeah hi oh okay okay all right I gotta go I'm playing with my friends bye-bye okay I'll talk to you later okay sorry about that hey I better finish eating this banana peeling and pretty good put the peel right here in the trash oh and look it's like we're in a little house welcome to my home let's see what we have here ice cream in the freezer and there's two ice cream cones one two one for me and one for you cheers oh and the refrigerators on the bottom I wonder if there's any treats in there no treats looks like somebody needs to go to the grocery shopping oh whoa there's food over here look at these two baskets of food hmm we should make something what should we make see a lot of bread and cheese and let's make a sandwich okay let's see what do we have what do we have in this basket we have bread we have Burgers we have cheese and we have tomatoes please let's stack it let's stack it come on we're gonna snack it check it out burger cheese tomato it's gonna be messy but it's gonna be yummy tasty what else is in here a really tiny soda oh [Music] nice and refreshed whoa look at this cool sink oh looks like there's some dirty dishes here oh we really need to clean this spatula so oh there's a sponge yellow soap on there and some water time to clean there we go hey when you're playing it's always best to clean up if you make a mess whoa okay water in here and good as new so clean I wonder what else is here let's go whoa Pizzeria let's go inside [Music] wow look pizza oh I love pizza so much hmm there's something in my jam pack that belonged in a restaurant let's take a look oh yeah yeah I put it on I can be a chef Chef Mika welcome to my Pizzeria okay let's see we have a pizza ready let me get one of these trays here and we just slide that on here oh let's Pretender that would be really hot okay let's put it together to make a nice Circle for the pizza okay who ordered the mushroom tomato cheese and green sprinkle Pizza oh you oh what's ready let's go to the register so you can pay okay see you've got the cheese and the tomatoes and the mushrooms and the green sprinkles I'm gonna give it to you for free the sprinkles are on the house okay that'll be one million dollars please whoa thank you okay here we go and here's your change all right here's your pizza enjoy actually pizza sounds pretty good right now and oh oh I do for my lunch break okay oh and that pizza special that you ordered looked really good so I think I'm gonna have the same thing and there's one ready for me right over there ah it looks so yummy hey will you count the pizza slices with me okay one two [Music] three four five six ooh six yummy slices just for me here at the paid place they have a ton of different art supplies you can make a sculpture or a painting but I really want to make a mixed media piece that's where you use a lot of different materials to make one art piece let's go oh paint please come on come on Wow there are so many cool paintings in here see an artist come on hey I'm Nico what's your name I make I'm Deirdre oh hi Deirdre nice to meet you what do you do here I'm an instructor at the paint place I'm an artist oh oh you're a very good artist what is this this is the New York City skyline New York City that's where we are right now I want to make a Skyline too but I want to do a mixed media piece oh absolutely you're going to need more supplies so a lot of people grab it from the table oh all right thanks see you soon whoa look at all of these materials that I get to use for my mixed media piece oh oh here's an apron that's super important because that way I can protect my clothes from paint or glue let me just tie this on look at all the paint that's already on the apron okay let's see what do I want to use ah check this out do you know what shape this is it's a circle and there's a lot of little circles around it you want to count the circles with me let's do it one two [Music] three four five six seven eight nine ten ten little circles this is a paint palette you can put different colors of paint in the little circles I definitely need that hmm what else oh some paint brushes for sure I like these little ones for detailing throw those in there oh there's different kinds of ways to apply paint to a canvas you could use a paintbrush or a sponge that can make a really fun texture I'm gonna throw that in there hmm oh glue I might need some glue see look at all these colors I see some of my favorite colors in here I'm gonna use oh purple oh yeah purple in there and hmm yellow that would be so cool to have purple and yellow buildings and this blue is pretty cool too purple yellow blue hmm looks like some of these papers already cut out might need some of these I'll get red [Music] and blue and yellow throw in some extra okay whoa there's felt pieces cut out oh what do we have here then hey do you want to be in my Skyline painting yes I do great you can go in there and what kind of shapes are over here oh a sunshine my Skyline could be during a sunny day oh you're definitely going in there and some squiggles those are fun throw those in there I'll just throw them all wow look at all these different colored puffy balls they're called pom-poms hmm I think I'm gonna throw some in there and oh I'll definitely need scissors if you're gonna use scissors make sure you're with a grown-up and oh a sponge roller that can be fun another way to apply paint and whoa look at all of these different colors I'm gonna throw that in there and whoa look at this cool paintbrush the big paintbrush this one is kind of like a triangle oh that'll be fun and some colored pencils oh this is gonna be so colorful what a great way to remember my day in New York City missing anything this we'll do it all right let's get started so excited to make this art piece oh here's an easel put my canvas right there and put my materials over here hey there's other paint here look at this bright pink oh kind of matches my nails this is acrylic paint which is different than the watercolor paint that I put in my basket over there acrylic paint is thicker than watercolor paint watercolor is thinner and transparent which means you can see through it hmm I think I'm actually going to use the acrylic paint today all right uh oh I'll use my pink palette so I'm gonna make a sky and water so I'll need blue here's some blue paint right here hey [Applause] nice blue paint and oh look at this blue I love this color it's kind of like a turquoise or a teal that on there so pretty and I'll add some black [Music] and white here we go check it out and I'll need a paintbrush oh this looks like a perfect paintbrush for my sky and my water all right let's get started okay starting with a blank canvas I can go anywhere I'm feeling inspired fire okay so I'm gonna start with the sky so I think I'm gonna use this blue and a little bit of white some water on there and I have to be careful because acrylic paint could stain my clothes good thing I'm wearing an apron [Music] beautiful blue sky [Music] okay I think this guy's looking pretty good and now I'm gonna do the water the river hmm they make the water a little darker than the sky foreign [Music] if I add black to it I can make it a little darker than the sky [Music] okay now I see a hair dryer that's such a smart way to make the paint dry faster okay see foreign [Applause] okay I think that's pretty good my water looks really dark I bet if I added some blue to it it would make it look a little more like water let's see oh whoops okay I'm gonna add more glue let's see this will brighten it up because it's so dark it looks like a street almost but I really want it to be water [Music] and I'm gonna add a little white It's always important to clean your brush in between colors it's white on there [Music] also I have Skye and water and I want some clouds up here I can use my fingers to make clouds okay it's so cool how you can use different things to apply paint [Music] and the good thing about a paint apron is you can just ride off [Music] thank you three puffy clouds all right let me get now let's dry the clouds [Applause] okay check it out it's the Empire State Building I'm gonna have that building in my New York City skyline okay let's put some buildings on my canvas get a lot of glue on here so my buildings stick here look a yellow rectangle rectangles make really good buildings all right I finished gluing on my buildings now I'm gonna move on to my felt pieces oh remember this friend put some glue right what should I name this person hmm I think I'm gonna name him [Music] George where do you want to go oh okay you're a little close to the water George but I get it it's the summer you want to cool off and oh my sunshine find my felt oh sunshine there it is okay put the sun here oh I love it I think it would be really cool to add some cotton balls to my clouds there's some over here oh don't these look like clouds soft and fluffy and white all right let's see what it will look like foreign [Music] yeah cool I like it what do you think I think the clouds look really cool and now I think I'll add some details to the building I'll need a small paintbrush like this one isn't this so fun it's what's cool about mixed media you can use all different kinds of materials to make an art piece oh I still have some white paint here water in there and then let's see maybe this building can have some windows might be an apartment building George lives here George you have a great building nice tenants okay and then maybe some lines here lines there this building can have lines like that now I'm going to do three lines on this one one two three what's so cool about art is you can do whatever you want [Music] all right some details I think that's pretty good and I forgot I have something in my glitter I'm gonna put some glitter on my painting what do you think yeah all right I need some glue so the glitter sticks I think it would look good in the water sparkly water [Music] now my mixed media art piece is all complete oh hey Deidra hi this looks amazing thank you I had so much fun making it I know the perfect spot where we can hang it up really yes someone's coming to pick up their painting so why don't we hang up yours I get to be on the wall with the other artists that's so cool I hope you enjoy the paint place I did it was so fun thanks for having me bye all
