the song that I'll be singing actually came out in the 60s it's very iconic and I guess you wouldn't be expecting me to sing it I do have a bit of fear of singing the speaker's seal and Boy George both knew this artist that's pretty cool and also a bit scary walking up onto that stage there would be a lot of things going through my head but once I get to the microphone I just try and focus get into the mood of the song and be able to hopefully take people on the journey [Music] ground control to Major Tom Beverly ground control to Major and this is ground control to me beautiful [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] now it's time to leave the capture if you did [Music] control your stock is dead there's something wrong can you hear me major talk come major tall [Music] so people are my [Music] Oh [Music] Earth is blue and there's nothing I [Applause] what's your name my name is Lisa Sugarman I'm 15 years old and I'm from Cairo okay let me sit down first of all what made you choose a David Bowie song well David Bowie had always been around in my household I mean I knew he rose a new life on Mars I loved those songs but I think unfortunately for me when he passed away it was when I started getting into Bowie yeah a level Bowie and I actually have my Bowie battle scars on my own and that doesn't mean I'm the right coach for you obviously because you're not just gonna spend the whole time singing Bowie songs but clearly you're attracted to David Bowie's individuality and I've spent my entire career being an individual and a maverick and to be inspired by something like that 15 that's just the most beautiful thing in the universe if you came to team George we definitely explore that together thank you so much what a wonderful performance I really really enjoyed it the reason I turned around as quickly as I did was because it's always a risk taken on a song like that but your approach through is really what impressed me so much thank you so much it was awesome and so what I did is I turned around quickly so that I could really kind of see your performance because in the first couple of bars I was pretty convinced by the tone of your voice which is wonderful I'd really love to work with you I should be a wonderful thank you you know what I love is you're 15 and you did it with ease I'm so impressed I got my first record dealer at fifteen one of my first Grammys is 16 I feel like we're looking at Australia's next big star and I feel like we're looking at a real artist and I would love to be a coach I'm gonna put myself out there and put myself on the line [Applause] alright I have to choose [Applause] deal you're a gentleman at all times I need you to fall back individual over very intimidating successful I'm gonna have to go with seal [Applause] you are so keep shining baby you are a star ah how awesome I am so thrilled as you have no idea your gift giving you a gift awesome I don't panic in the show she's gonna be one to watch mark my words you have note you have lo idea I was so excited to work with your daughter things do not always go the way you want them to I'm gonna go home and work on my pitches oh my god [Music]
