Adding rust or dirt where objects meet is a visually interesting way to blend materials. First, besides the texture the obect has, you'll need to add a rust material. The rust material uses Object Texture Coordinates, with an Empty as the object. Connect both with a Mix Shader node. As the mixing factor, use an Ambient Occlusion node, with a ColorRamp node for extra control. In Eevee, remember to enable Ambient Occlusion in the render settings. Finetune the Ambient Occlusion using the ColorRamp and the Distance value. Using Node Wrangler add-on, you can hold Shift and Ctrl and click on a node to preview it. Once it looks good, copy the necessary nodes to the other materials. One more way to increase the Ambient Occlusion is by increasing the Samples. You can still move the objects. And you can move the Empty to adjust the Rust material.
