Bleaching my Black Hair and Dyeing it COPPER

if you're disappointed in me just know that i am too that being said i dyed my hair black at the beginning of the year not many things to do once once you've gotten to that point so hi and welcome to my channel my name is stella and today i'm going to bleach my hair as you could see and as so many of you will point out in my comments and on my instagrams and everything my hair okay my hair has a bunch of colors i have my roots growing out i have green warm brown behind the dark not really black and then whatever this color basically my hair is patchy that is yes okay i admit it it's patchy great um i'm not exactly sure yet if the title of this video is a bit misleading the reason for that is while this does say bleaching my hair a color remover which is softer and less damaging to the hair than bleach might be a better alternative especially considering i'm not going for blonde i'm not exactly making up expectations in my mind as to what the color the end result is going to be so if it's crappy that's fine i have a very special color in mind in and following video but for that i do need a lighter base a much lighter base so i'm just going to like lift all of this and see what i end up with hey my ear is so sparkly today oh my god maybe i'm a bit too dressed up for this video or for what am i gonna attempt in this video but i felt like this deserved it oh my god look at their care tips but it's amazing it comes with a gra which is a grading port an official grading report because the ring is made out of moistenite it's really really cool anyways i want to show these all off much more when i finish the entire look and i look a bit prettier because at the moment i look a bit rough if you're interested i'm going to link every single thing below all the jewelry will but i'm gonna go into more detail at the very end of the video so stay tuned as i said i'm not going to be starting with bleach i do have my bleach over here but i'm not going to be starting with that because bleach is a very very harsh thing to start with color remover today i have with me two of the schwarzkopf cobbler removers bond enforcing color removers this comes in parts a and part b you mix these two together and also add an additional hydrogen peroxide of your choosing so i have two boxes is these things are tiny this i don't think will be enough so i'm gonna be using up both of these remaining ones and then if i need any more i will add from the other box okay um let's mix it up really quickly because i feel like i haven't gotten anywhere mix contents of part a and part b and add 60 grams of developer apply on dye hair let it develop for up to 20 minutes it says to use either a six volume developer or a 10 volume developer when mixing it i have here a 7 volume and a 20 going with the 10 volume alternative so i'm going to be mixing mainly seven and adding a teeny weeny wean bit of this to bring it up to a 10 volume because i know i'm going to run out i'm going to go ahead and add a second sachet a now i'm going to be adding the two part b mixtures into this bowl a hundred grams of seven volume developer 20 grams of 20 volume developer this is going to bring up my mixture to somewhere around 10 volume 100 grams 100 yay my bowl is so full 20 grams of 20 i'm getting white powder everything whipping up some bleach i should have used two bowls am i regretting this you know slightly first things we need to do secondly change shirts so attractive okay always wear gloves when you're working with bleach okay so i'm gonna work um front to back try to avoid the green and then go into the green later i don't let's just start with clean sections first how about all right let's do this apply and move on apply and move on maybe a rubber band wasn't a great idea is this a bad idea i really wouldn't know i mean for my career probably not for my hair though probably not the best thing i could do for it okay i respect the fact that this is such a wide brush because otherwise i'll be here forever yep that definitely looks a bit lighter okay last section in the front and i still have all of the back which is going to be 10 times harder yay i'm supposed to be here encouraging you and educating you and this is the best i'm doing such a thick piece of gods hi guys how's your day going mine's going fantastic it's turning red which is great that's what black normally does so great okay so that should be most of the black bits of my hair and as you can see they are no longer black i don't know what color they they they're blonde wipe the remaining bit of remover and move it up onto the green oh this is going to be so patchy yes say it with me i'm doing this for 40 minutes my arms are so sore okay oh my god it's not black it's terrible oh my god what the what am i gonna dye this too it says it shouldn't be left on for more than 20 minutes it's for sure been on more than 20 minutes at this point what was that oh um look i'll give you my honest opinion this to me is a bit of a look peacock like a wild bird somewhere it's kind of giving me that vibe that being said i don't think i want to leave this like this i don't i do not want more comments telling me that it's patchy i'm going to whip up a bleach mixture of 20 volume developer i'm not going to eyeball anything i've got a bowl i've got my bleach i'm just going to like pour things in oh my god this will look so cool all over should i dye my hair instead should i dye it instead and go for this copper look what if i don't bleach my hair and i dye it copper instead but just my root i don't touch this do i have other colors what would happen if i put copper on green turn a bit muddy so i need to introduce more red this color okay way okay i want to dry my hair really quickly mainly my roots i'm really digging this okay this is the leftover money piece bleaching bit that i have and i'm i love it okay nine seven because it's the perfect lightness eight seven because it's got the perfect amount of copper in it seven seven because it's kind of the right shade the tricky part is going to see how much of all we're gonna need i got my bowl and my brush this this fat brush color correction is so not my strong suit theoretically my rule of thumb is if you're dying nothing but roots on an average person you're going to need around 60 grams of dye 60 grams of developer that it should be the rule of thumb because i always like to have a bit more than maybe i need i want to do 70 of everything oh my god this is so bright um 40 grams of nine seven twenty of eight seven seven that is so bright uh i'm so scared of getting this wrong it looks so bright oh my god these are permanent colors by the way if you did not notice 10 grams of this that is so bright that is too bright oh my god i have three different colors of orange in here orange now i'm just going to go in with 70 ml of 20 volume developer scratch should i have added blonde no i've got a green base i don't need blonde i'm now i've been regretting this maybe i should have added and want to dilute it a bit oops these don't turn out bad what if it ends up being too light oh i didn't consider that fun so i did this part and it's looking mildly muddy which is great i'm gonna do the back somehow sort of great thanks that is looking cool though i can't tell what color it's going to turn out to i think it might be muddy like right now i'm going to comb it also this this vibe though i'm living for it okay just for added security because i'm not going to like retouch any of it i'm just gonna do like this on some of the surfaces i leave this on for 40 minutes as always then i'm gonna wash it i'm gonna do some moisturizing of the hair with some olaflex some treatment yeah okay i want to moisturize the daylights out of my hair just in case it did get like super damaged but i'm really really really happy i didn't actually bleach my hair do all that wash it be back with a cool makeup look i guess thank you bye i'm back ha i totally know what i was doing oh my god it matches what the hell oh my god the one thing i am so pissed at is the fact that i actually like this color so much because this was meant to be an intermediate color i didn't bleach my hair just so i have blonde hair i bleached it so i can dye it another bright color but this is looking so cute and it's going to be so so so difficult for me to change it um i'm gonna style my hair really quickly i'm not really sure what i'm gonna go for i'm just gonna kind of go with it i'm really in favor of congratulating yourself sort of a thing because i'm like no one else is going to praise you the least you could do is praise yourself you know so well done stella you did good kid my hair is still healthy yeah it feels so good it still has movement like i knew it would cause bleach doesn't always damage it it makes it look so freaking good baby my hair still feels good national anthem i know people in the comments are gonna be like oh my god how has her hair not fallen out yet guess that's literally not how hair works if your hair falls out that is problems internally that's nothing that you can do to your hair that's gonna cause that finally i'm gonna see this all in with oil because my hair isn't that damaged but it still shouldn't take too many um chances come through all up legs oil but i feel like something is missing so ah yes and i present to you no longer green haired no longer patchy stella copper stella caramel stella ginger i'm actually so freaking pissed at the fact that i love this ginger copper was never the idea and i wish it was i wish it was i wish i can keep this but i have i have such a cool idea in mind for a next color and i'm just like so this is how the hair turned out after i bleached color removed it once and then i dyed my lime green roots to match the rest of the ends i didn't really have expectations but i was really hoping it wasn't going to turn out bad if you have black hair please don't make blonde your your end goal chances are it's not going to happen but that is fine because there are so many other colors you can try including this beautiful one oh my god still so much lush to it it is not burnt damaged dead in any way yes these tiny bits are these ones that you can see are blunder that is because those are the remainder of the one and a half year ago bleach that i have done all the rest of it is perfectly intact it's healthy it's luscious it moves it it looks stunning so i'm wearing the try very oval cut drop earrings that are so gorgeous
