Black Tie Extravaganza 2021 | Celebrating 40 years of New Challenge Ministries

we are here this evening to celebrate 40 years of ministry to god be the glory especially since many people told us in the beginning we wouldn't survive one year and yet here we are 40 years and making such a huge difference within our communities all to the glory of god i'm so thankful and i couldn't do this event without a lot of people and but most of all i want to thank besides one person but my board of directors they worked hard to make this event lovely and i think it's i i've heard everything how nice it is i'm so thankful and grateful to everyone that's made it beautiful but most of all thank you my lovely wife [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so before i go i'm going to ask you for money because that's my other job i used to come out of my uh you know underwear when i would beat someone up and they would give me money now i come out with this and i just talk at you and then you give me money so what i want to encourage and ask all of you tonight is i know you've already made commitments to be here and i know a lot of you have already made commitments with your time or even with your business relationships but i'm i'm asking if you could maybe think of one person or one family or one group or or one even community that you think you can help this is your moment this is your time and when i look at people to help i always think about myself when i was that little boy why did bob shamrock stop and talk to me and give me all that time and love and respect and so when i go out and i do my service i'm looking for those boys and those girls that were me how could i help them so if you don't have someone that's just fine we'll find them for you absolutely and we'll make sure they get fed and we'll make sure they get care but if it's a family if it's a person if it's a community i hope tonight you guys will make a commitment make a commitment to supporting something that could save so many lives and from someone who's gone through it all it will make an impact like you could never imagine and what i'm here to support is the next 40 years how do we keep building this how do we keep growing this how do we inspire our community to understand the value and the need of this that way it's always here for us for the next group and for anyone else that we can help along the way
