Black Panther | On-set visit with Michael B. Jordan "Erik Killmonger"

my exposure to Marvel was pretty extensive I grew up a marvel fan grew up a fan of comic books and uh and just this superhero world so I knew my fair share about Marvel in this comics and stuff like that black man there was one of the you know the few Marvel characters you know that I could really identify with you know as a kid growing up and really kind of fell in love with what Conda and this uh this uh you know this fantasy world where you know Africa and you know and you know black people were so strong and powerful and it was depicted in that way almost pretty yeah so you know Black Panthers one of my my childhood favors me and Ryan work together a few times and this is a project that we you know we spoke about and once he heard about it and you know wanting me to come on and do something different and I'll play a villain and yeah my initial thoughts was like cool when we start you know for me it was fun to kind of flex a different muscle and and you know dive into you know a little darker character so that was that was fun I think it is the shorthand and the fact that he's like a brother than me and he knows how to get me to certain points creatively and and uh I don't know I think our process has always been the same it's just like he's gonna keep it real um and and be honest you know try to be as honest as you can within these moments of the character of the story so I think I think staying the same in that way really helps us out through all projects he's from the hood from Oakland you know he's uh you know he he's a very very smart guy he's very intelligent um and he dresses comfortable he doesn't have to dump himself down I try to dress up to make anybody else feel comfortable he's gonna be who yes you know the the clothes is very Street urban but high in high in fashion you know he has good taste okay Marvel fans have got a bonus effect for you did you know that the Avengers shawarma post-credits scene was added at the last minute the hilarious a throwaway post-credit scene at the end of Avengers Assemble not a tennis one the shawarma one was not filmed during principal photography in fact the like late addition to the script was filmed two days after the film premiered in the US as that was the only way just waitin could reunite the cast Chris Evans in the middle of filming snowpiercer had to cover his beard with his head what's your favorite Marvel movie let me know in the comments below to watch more cool videos like this the moment they are online click on the subscribe button now and don't forget to also click on the notification bell as well see you next time
