Carolina and she let me lay in her lap I was a grown while I was doing everything I was big enough to do but she never turned me away and she never did it's been in my system bro I will tell you this one mighty woman of God and to be able to stand here and give her her flowers while she yet here [Applause] I tell you my mom has so many things that I can say there's so many stories I can tell but it's only one matter and she gave me the foundation of life and that's Jesus Christ that's Jesus Christ she taught me she's that parents made your word and give my daughter both of my church I always say because of this woman my my daughter came to visit he got saved because she critics and they will me the way she was and she came home back home with my mama 110 and when she came back when she came back she was saying she was a different girl she was a different girl I thank you God for jacking my knees that thought of this idea and put it together with my other cousins and all this is fantastic appeared and look at mama said mama we love you and we thank God for you we thank you that you were solid in what you believe in and you never gave up and you all continue to pray for us and keep us strong [Applause] what a testimony ain't man when your children the bible say well we can raise ourselves up and call our mama's great a virtuous woman a man that's what I'm talking about she raised him up she bought him up in the way that they should go so when they get old they won't deploy a man that's how job mother Johnson we proud of you a man and we love you dearly and your whole family love you that's why they come from everywhere to celebrate their mother their grandmother their great-grandmother oh you all got something to be proud about down [Music] amen now where's sister Jackie okay who's all right my brother's coming now a man come on and give him a hand praise we have to tell us your name sir I am the Reverend dr. Don Johnson no that's his joke no that's how Jackie introduced me to the distinguished Bishop of this great church [Applause] to the cold pastor of this great church [Music] [Applause] to uncle James who's from Flint Michigan is here today this is the youngest of 12 - that's living I'm gonna tell you about HK HK a little bit later okay hey K is my father - on Bertha the honoree and to the other families that from ain't fo uncle Charlie and I represent the boo family Amen this great Union started many many years ago in the city of Lexington Mississippi nor told I'm a god told nor to multiply and that's what Kim and Lonnie did honor that great Union that was about 12 or 13 Johnson's man up 12 or 13 Johnson's and you see the evidence and we are benefiting from the prayers of our grandparents it is it is written God has protected our family has been a provider and provided us guidance first I want to say I command the bishop I command the bishop usually when people get season or get old we want to put them awake and you know some people don't like old shoes some people are like old shoes but you are demonstrating the love that you have for ain't Bertha and God bless you god bless you mother they love you and we love you too on behalf of the Johnson and and Bertha and Johnson and boo family we want to say to our extended family and to the families that we haven't seen god bless you and we love you during this last couple of year the last couple of days ain't Bertha and uncle James shared some interesting things about Hezekiah boo talked about the great love and dedication about what they have for their brother the oldest one but I want to share with you mom this morning briefly what is like to be a boo boy to be a sibling of HK Johnson to be HK boy to tell you what what was accepted or what was unacceptable what was a what you could do and what you can't do but I want to just say that what it is that what it took to be a Johnson and these standards was was hard we had to we didn't have a choice the prophet Isaiah says it quite well in second Kings when he talked about King Hezekiah he was a faithful man he was a servant man and he believed in Jesus and as I think about in there's a little bitty boy I think H K Johnson had some of the same qualities of King Hezekiah so I am the son of a king so he had the same thing he loved Jesus and he talks about that he said do what please God I remember HK when we had to go to Olivet Missionary Baptist Church a man Olivet we we had to go to Sunday school level clock servers BTU Baptist training union and then and he we didn't get to vote then we were there so he said in the 18th chapter of second Kings he talked about Hezekiah king hezekiah trust in the Lord and this is what my father did he trusts in the Lord he did and he says in the sixth chapter he said remains faithful and he will and has King Hezekiah this is what my father did he obeyed the commands I think it's really I think it said and and some of the upbringing as offspring of Hezekiah it talks about and second chronicles extremely well I remember my father telling me he said boy I didn't know my name was done until I was grown boy don't be stubborn submit yourself under the Lord and I remember my father telling me that many times boy don't be suffering submit yourself under the Lord and after I submitted myself man is has been great and in the ninth chapter of the thirtieth chapter of second Chronicle it talks about for return to the Lord your relatives and children will be treated merciful we got a personal testimony testimony your relatives and truth and children will be treated merciful on April the 18th of this year with my brother one of the older my one of my brothers had a stroke it is says in 2nd Chronicle that your children will be treated merciful and today my brothers here salata SEC set up brother he's here Oh jeh Johnson and we don't take that for granted a lot of people go in the hospital who don't come out and he's he's up walking around and we thank God for we have been the beneficials beneficiaries of Hezekiah Johnson for his faithfulness for his boldness and worshiping Lord and Savior Christ now we're gonna look at the lens of the offspring how they suck and I think you will see some of the qualities of Hezekiah Johnson starting with the oldest sister Eloise Eloise was the nurturer she always every time I used to come home from college she she wasn't a nurturer when I was a little boy she would turn me up but but she was a nurturer she made sure that Ron and I had everything we needed no matter what she always and then she got it from Hezekiah Virgil the oldest boy he was the work ethic he just work work work I remember I got put out of sold in high school one time and he said little brother I'm not coming back over here anymore that was his motivational speech but he loved me brother oj is he one of the qualities of HK HK was responsibility he just did it man he didn't worry about it responsibility how many of you all have talents we all have talents it's written down in the Bible we got talents some people have talents and don't use it but my brother Julius use his talents he used his talents he was one of the first that graduated we say humbly Bishop we're not bragging but we we excited we are excited we don't talk about yourself he is the first brother that graduated from washing University using your talents my sister Juanita who's gone she was independent at a young age she went out the Johnson family will verify this my brother Melvin was serviced he was he was at service on Friday night standing up he served in the military last night at dinner he would just stand stand and he was just directed Melvin exemplified what service no my twin brother Ron what can you say about your twin brother that's been carrying you someone's all your life who loves you who loves you more than power himself it was exemplified in this weekend long way co-chair package a key page about his leadership his planning skills his organized skills good results just do not happen there's a lot of work good results do not just happen you got a plan it and all my life when I was at soda and Ron you that's Ron decency DJ man come on Rob been taking care of me all my life and Ron I love you god bless you now will you come with Don what did I do when I get from each gate do what Ron says just follow Ron you won't get in trouble do Iran and I've been following my twin brother all these years for 67 years we say humbly that Hezekiah Johnson was a great man of God just like King Hezekiah he taught us to be bold man so man don't be wimpy man when you give your man the word you keep it don't back up don't come to me moaning and groaning and everything that's what he called us but today and we say honorably when I was down at our bed and we needs to get happy he was a deacon down there he used to say none of my boys at all of it none of my boys in the imprint in the penitentiary that was his thing having seven boys when we grew up down Webster and all that man hit with something that was his testimony but now Bishop thank you god bless you we are worshiping a great woman of God a great woman of God I ain't Bertha uncle boos younger sister my father was the oldest one and it talks about ain't bought her Bertha I always felt like ain't Bertha was the wisest woman I ever knew she can look at you and tell bore you up to something I mean no really you you you you something you doing something wrong now something is wrong she can look at you man and I start good start telling ya I bet I'd be a fit whoa ain't Bertha well thank you Bishop for honoring this great woman almost ooh now here it is in the chapter of Ruth it illustrates quite well some of the qualities of our great honor it's about Naomi and Ruth where Naomi told the daughters go back home go back home you can forgive a husband open said yeah I see you I'm leaving but Ruth fader and cling to her what ain't Bertha was doing was putting other people first this is what we did it was it was 18 of us in a house I mean HK we lived in the basement and ain't Bertha with her nine kids live up searched and she always put somebody else first she has not been she been doing it all their life putting somebody first but here's what Ruth said I want to live where you live I want to go where you want to go how can you say my god is your God my God is your God and she was living it she didn't talk about it about 12 years ago this is the last one I can go on bout ain't Bertha but Jackie said look now I'm done this is just chill brother I mean I mean so just chill let me just tell this one about this great woman of God I lost my wife about 12 years ago I was in a big pity party I did not want to live well I was married for 38 years we were highschool sweethearts and I didn't want to live and my brothers would call and say DJ I went down to the phone my twin brother had to fly from Chicago to see if I was all right it so happened Jackie and one neither said ain't Bertha is coming by the city she don't she don't ask anything she's gonna tell you she said come by to see you and I start cleaning and up because if ain't Bertha come you got to clean up the house see a guy had a flashback though she gave me a list of things to do so I start cleaning up and she came up he said how you doing baby I said any birth um I'm doing all right how you really doing baby I'm doing all right and she says she knew I was hurting she prayed one of those prayers and said call on the God she said it's gonna be all right and she knew I was in a pity party I was angry with God I was angry with God said why do you take my wife take that other boy's wife what she said it would be our way and as she was praying I was crying and then just peace just came on on me it was just a calmness ain't birthday you said it would be all right in about two years later I met another woman of God another virtuous woman and stand up evil Joyce hey stand up man I didn't think I would be happy again no really I didn't want to live but God that's too my wife stole soul we we thank you for the opportunity we thank you for being with us and to all the family we appreciate you coming from the state of Washington Virginia Michigan Texas Lana Georgia and all over just because of this great woman of God god bless you mother we love you we love you I love you what you have done for me god bless [Applause] wonderful thank you brother Johnson a man and now we want to move with us jack is it something else are you done all right mother again we love you so much mother Johnson words cannot express you have been a fine example at this church and when she speaks she speaks about God amen she carried that word and she's gonna tell you about Jesus that we'd love him she's a student even in the Bible College here a man she's she getting her degree sister Johnson not yet it's just a name Emma okay amen and mother making good grades in there right they man praise God for you we thank God for your mother Johnson I know everything your family members are saying is heartfelt amen and this is our expression of love to you by coming out they've got on red and black everybody beautiful flowers up here all this is because of you and the Bible tells us to give about a visionary I'm talking about a teacher I'm talking about it a man of God that loves God to seek God for the people of God a man I'm talking about the set man of this house they have cut through the ranks to get to who he is now and he is say it with me Sullivan simple he's the Reverend he's a doctor and he's a bishop Holloway of the Solomon's Temple Church let's hear him now amen god bless far the scripture Isaiah chapter number 43 verse number 15 verse number 15 down to verse number 21 there was exactly six verses that we need to read in your hearing you have it say I have it to give drink to my people my children these people have for myself they shot my priests look at your name is saying show forth the praise remember ye not the former things neither or neither consider the things of all behold I will do a new thing it shall spring forth somebody show right now right now right now come on now it shall spring forth now it shall spring forth shall you not know it I will even make away in the wilderness and rivers in the desert reach over and poke somebody if you got to poke him in the neck poke him in the shoulder poke him in the eye come on somebody tell him wake up glory to God and tell him new come on somebody shout new now come open up your mouth and holler at me tell him new where somebody shout new now it is a declaration it is a prophetic utterance it is the ability to open up your mouth and the mists of crises in the mister confusion in the midst of chaos and declare that this is my official out of what I've been going through and that God is absolutely indicative ly releasing new now summer shout new now and so here now I understand why we have been frustrated for the last several years and months even as we begin to walk and hasten to a closer even in this city unworldly we are in trouble because people that are wicked are in power watch it now and when the wicked is in power the people will mourn open up your mouth and shop they will mourn and so here he begins to deal with me even early this morning and he said tell the chosen the nation that I have Rabine for myself that I'm getting ready to release you into your new portion you've been waiting long enough your time has been far spent in the wilderness I know it's been trouble watching now but I said you come on somebody wouldn't matter I gave you water from the brook watching now I come on cause the rock to flow water so that you can live I sent you everything you need why are you in the middle of the greatest trial of your life and if I allowed you to come no matter what your past has to look like God has not been counted out so listen to what he says that I'm gonna bless you and plenty I'm going to cause your fortunes and your future and restoration to come upon Israel my chosen we are the Israel of the now summons of the Israel of the noun so the former things have already been declared and the events have already taken place and destruction has already been done we don't even have to go into the presidency we can just thank God that this is our season of recovery open up your mouth shut recovery and therefore I'm gonna call you watching now to return come on somebody from Babylon I'm gonna bring you out of this captivity and I'm gonna cause the things of the old to now be removed I'm gonna cause the ancient warfare that has been passed Canaan but I can't bypass the sea to get to the promised I'm I said again some you're trying to bypass the sea seconds run a bypass Pharaoh I wish I had some help in here big finally attack you have
